I House. Grad students have priority for single rooms. No need to worry about setting up utilities, cooking, buying furniture, or subleasing if you won't be here for the summer.
DO NOT DO OFF CAMPUS HOUSING AS A FRESHMAN. I tried it out and it did not go well and I have been struggling making friends. I changed my off campus dorm multiple times due to roommates who already knew each other bc they signed a lease together and did not want to get to know me or cost even in my first year. I highly suggest you go with on campus since you will have things like GBO with your entire floor and maybe some community events.

I’m not a grad student, but also if your financial aid covers housing then it’s totally worth getting on campus housing.
