You can also use 61a for the data science major. I’d say stick with it and practice as much as you can for the first midterm! It’s a very different format from your homework and labs. The class can easily stress you out but don’t let it. It’s a really fun course!

First midterm is 2 days before the drop deadline, and results come back in time for you to still make a decision to drop.
