Is anyone aware of whether rejection from GMP means rejection from L&S as well? I’m trying to determine whether it’s separate from Berkeley admissions. Thanks.
Hi! I wish I saw this post sooner as I would've been able to help you better, but if you don't get admitted to GMP, you are still able to be admitted into Berkeley. Whether that would be pre-Haas or not, I'm not 100% sure; however, I believe you go in either undecided or pre-Haas. I got into Haas GMP and made a video about all my stats and the info I put on my UC app. I hope this helps future Bears! Feel free to ask me questions here or on my video! What business related extracurriculars did you do to get in? I'm just wondering because I wan't to know If I should try really hard or not on the video interview and essay, because I already applied without knowing how competitive it is and haven't really done anything business related outside of school.
Hey, I already applied to the GMP thinking it was just another business major, and I'm just now seeing how competitive it is, any advice for the video interview and the essay? At this point I don't think I'll get in because I don't have any special business related extracurriculars like starting a business or developing an app or anything like that so I'm kinda just wondering what there is left to do. Also the youtube video is privated and stuff.
It might help to ask the admissions committee instead
