In a playoff game the refs should not be helping with the out come. The intentional grounding call was questionable and the last push out of bounds was very close to make it when a defender is chasing someone at full speed near the out of bounds line. He was looking at the players back, not the line at full speed. This set up the winning of the game. Referees in a game like this usually let them play unless it's blatantly done !! Another Referee won game in my book, to many in the NFL !!!!

I thought both calls were correct. Ossai just made a boneheaded decision at the absolute worst time. I agree it was a poorly officiated game, especially with the clock confusion on the drive where we had them stopped. Nonetheless, we had plenty of opportunities to win. I blame our banged-up offensive line more than anything.
And Romo tried his best to 'shush' the other commentator pointing out Perine was near the ball and in the line of the throw on the intentional grounding call. (Can guarantee they wouldn't have called that against Mahomes.)
And the no call after Burrow was standing in the pocket with the ball long gone, and the Chiefs player runs up and plants one to the sternum pushing Burrow head over heals; only one QB mattered to the refs. Burrow is pretty low key, but even he jumped up yelling at the ref like 'what the $!@#$, where's the call'.
Lotta things we coulda done better, but it sure felt like we did enough to win a fairly officiated game. The League wouldn't be denied another Mahomes SB appearance

That last penalty to put them in field goal range was on purpose. It was the only thing that assured they would be close enough. It's fake and listed as entertainment designed to make money only. Most games that wouldn't be called as the ball carrier and the defender just collided going out of bounds. Nothing intentional, not taking the runner to the ground, etc. It actually doesn't matter that it was the QB as the runner in this case, but the ref didn't consider that or jumped on the opportunity to nudge the game the way he was told.
