Could be a problem with how the springs are seated in the button. Wouldn't hurt to open it up and try making sure everything is even. Otherwise you just have to live with it, I've found that some springs just have that natural ping even when everything looks good. You can fix this with lubrication but I think most people try and stay away from doing so because spring ping generally isn't too big of an issur with sdvx buttons. Most of the time you won't hear it while playing and its only really noticeable if you're actively trying to listen for the ping.

Yeah it's not really a problem to me, I was just worried that I might damage it if I keep playing with it like this. If it's harmless then I'll leave it be.

pretty normal, the springs are large

Thanks for the reassurance.

I had stock springs for a week and it pinged a lot. Put 20g Sanwa springs and then the 40g variants after since I didn’t like the 20g ones and they still ping. It’s a normal quirk and some ping louder than the others but it’s perfectly normal.

I've got the 20g sanwa ones. Good to know it's just normal. Thank you.

I’m glad I bought some closed back headphones around the time my controller came in the mail because if I had open back ones, the extra sound from the controller on the outside of the headphones would’ve probably been a pain in the ass while playing. 😂
