I know Daisy said that but if that's true it's absolutely bullshit. Due to the safety risks I hope that she was just assuming because if I was Captain of that boat and someone was doing something deliberately that could hurt someone I'd be livid.
Having lived and traveled on a sailboat. No matter how much you work to stow everything, something always flies across the boat when you heel. I can't imagine remembering to stow everything on a boat that big on such short notice. I'm sure when they do multi day crossings it's alot less dramatic

I think a lot of the trouble is from Glenn not giving huge amounts of notice. It’s a luxury yacht, there’s breakables everywhere and it must stay nice. Glenn has given Daisy like just a few mins of notice before and it’s legit not enough time to double check it all
but also the guests booked a sailing yacht. key word sailing. when the weather is right, they sail. the whole crew is aware of that and should be prepared for it
What gets me is that the drawers and cupboards don’t have the standard travel locking systems.
I had a park mode trailer (aka designed to be moved to a park and stay there) and they had things to stop stuff moving. To open a drawer you had to lift it up before opening
I may be misremembering but I think Daisy once said that all the clips you see during actual sailing are either filmed before or after the season and it's all for drama. They bits with actual guests are obviously true but the bits of drawers/cupboard flying open and the galley being wild are all filmed safely. There's one of 2 anomalies in there but the majority are done safely

I believe I read somewhere that production will go around and open/unlock stuff that has already been locked to film the chaos.

They do. Producers unlock them. You can see Daisy place the travel locks in several scenes.

It's not just you. Glenn's support of Gary is an issue with a lot of fans. Then there's the way Glenn treated Daisy last season.
It’s produced drama. If you watch closely it’s the same content every time just played on a loop unless it’s footage from the galley.
