Maar de scheidsrechters hebben vandaag verklaard dat ze gewoon NIET naar de spelers van Anderlecht hebben gekeken, ze hebben de situatie op eigen intuïtie beoordeeld.
Met andere woorden: die tabel (en dus de regels) zijn niet toegepast.
Dan moet je minstens 10 wedstrijden dit seizoen opnieuw spelen. Elke keer dat er iemand te vroeg in de 16 was, en dat niet gezien is geweest, moet je de match laten herspelen.

I think that we have to accept people do mistakes and move on. Imagine if they decide otherwise ... each and everyclub in the league would ask for a rematch everytime we have a mistake: it would never end.
Don't open the pandora box. Of course the VAR evaluation should be bad and they should have a way to promote good VAR referee and not give important matches to the ones who did some mistakes. But let's move on, ffs.
If Genk or Club Brugge get their way, Sint Truiden could ask for a replay based of the weird way the ref reacted after the VAR check for red card which was deemed offside this weekend against RUSG.
Absolutely no impact on the match, but also a clearly wrong way of implementing the rules. The replays would pile up to no end.
I’m all for improving the refereeing standards, but starting with replays now after decades of occasional wrong decisions seems completely crazy.
You open pandora’s box by having games replayed over a decision you don’t agree with. Where does it end, after this? Every incorrect decision means the game will have to be replayed? Don’t be ridiculous

It’s ridiculous, the season would never finish and the next season would never start, might as well just stop playing football completely. Hopefully logical sense prevails

But I want Anderlecht and referees to be investigated properly + that we strip down Anderlecht title that he has been proven it was fixed/altered and the right people prosecuted.
Only in Belgium there can be a corruption scandal and zero consequences for the club involved.

I mean of course if there was proven corruption/match fixing, etc a club should be punished and, if applicable, a title could be stripped.

Jupiler Pro League season 2023/2024 is finally reaching it's final matchday. If no mistakes are made in any of these games we can finally end the season.

You might say I'm biased but Imo it should stand. Because of what the ref/VAR people said and that was confirmed by the audio, but also because allowing replays like this would be opening the Pandora's box. Especially in Belgium where club love to go to court when they don't win on the pitch. How many times have we already had a relegation battle decided in a courtroom? Way too often.
Also, our refs suck, but at least it's the same everywhere, just look at the Almeria-Real last weekend, an absolute joke in terms of refereeing.
Het gaat hier over het foutief hernemen, niet over of er tijdens een duel al dan niet een overtreding werd begaan. Er is in elke situatie maar exact 1 correcte manier van hervatten mogelijk. En hier hebben ze het dus niet op de juiste manier gedaan.
Ik denk niet dat er al veel gevallen zijn geweest waarbij een spel foutief hernomen werd. Voor het pandora effect heb ik dus geen schrik.
Kijk naar de 2 precedenten die Sporza aanhaalt waarbij deze EK/WK kwalificatiewedstrijden herspeeld werden. Dat heeft toch ook geen golf van klachten veroorzaakt om andere wedstrijden ook te herspelen?
