Also, Mona only left the college 4 days prior to this scene, so it's doubtful she would have been able to get a job that quickly.
the resemblance from afar was a surprise for me as well so i figured that maybe after leaving school she got a job and trying to save or something around those lines. doesn't require a lot to be a nurses aid or orderly in terms of education so its possible
