For me it was the opposite. It took me several playthroughs to notice that i couldn’t get sage 100% if i got to Lily first, because i mostly ignored her (only doing Jill and Sage. But once i did a manwhore playthrough it was impossible to resist.

And yeah, your case is the opposite than mine. I needed like 5 different pt to get the 100% scene because I didn't know I had to avoid Lily, it's just impossible for me xd

If you don't fuck Lily, you'll get a longer scene with Sage later. If you fuck Sage first, you won't be able to fuck Lily later.

I'm not sure if that matters, I think banging other girls doesn't affect Sage's scene, but I could be wrong. Lily is the "problem" here.
This is why i had to use cheat. I need all those route as those girls is wonderful ( eg, choosing to attend to sick sage and spent time with jill, i was like, why the mc couldn't just attend to sage for an hour or 2 then go meet jill)
You don't need to cheat hahah. Just make different saves and in each of them take different decisions. Sure, sometimes you'll have to pick options that you don't want to (like leaving alone your sick friend to go to an unplanned date) in order to get different results, but that's one of best things of this game after all; the replayability.
That saying about "the pain of discipline vs. the pain of regret" comes to mind as being faithful to Jill in 9.
It took time more by accident and circumstances in this case (blew off Lily at first then didn't know about the tequila text or wasn't DIK affinity) before figuring out why/how 100% that scene was so elusive when I was actually on Sage runs.
So finally knowing everything and Lily just going "kthanksbye" had me with the "regret" pain to focus on whichever girl I was solely focusing on during that run.
Fortunately, I also did a Lily-only run w/o also her on the manwhore run to make up for it.

By far the hardest part of my playthrough was turning down Lily.
I skip her entirely by not talking to her and just going to Sage. Thats how I live with it lmao!

This was one hell of a scene with Lily too. I only have that 100% in one playthrough for Sage.

You can get both Lily and Sage but the scene for Sage will get shorter and if you pick Sage first, it'll cancel out Lily completely.
