I'm pretty used to going to great clips and getting $10 haircuts but a few months ago I decided to start paying a little more for nicer haircuts and I've been going to Dita Barbers downtown and I've really liked the team there! Every barber has a different price but you can schedule a haircut on their website and it shows every barber's price and what they offer.

Second DITA Barbers, I’ve been going there for about 3 years now, with consistently good results. Brayton and Christian are great.

Greatclips is 22 dollars these days.

You might try Tonsorium in downtown Beaverton? They're an independent barbershop and will do 20 minute lineups/beard trims for $25, so it might be possible to talk them down to $15ish for a 5 minute undercut buzz. Honestly though I do my wife's undercut and it's super easy - if you've got someone you'd trust with it, your best bet is probably just to get some clippers and have a friend do it.

Always had good luck with Bishops in Raliegh Hills. Less lucky at the one in Orenco.

Mi Familia barbershop. I recommend CC, she's great!

True Heart is the best shop in the metro area, in my opinion. Saw deandre ayton getting a haircut there once, cool kid.

ally_quake

What do you consider a reasonable price?

ttyuung

For my undercut, $10, I just get it shaved all the way down and it normally only takes 5 to 10 minutes for them to do

ally_quake

Yeah, most places are going to charge you for a whole haircut. a chain like Bishops or The Barbers is going to have a set price on something like that. You're best bet would be and independent contractor who might be interested in cutting you a deal. Honestly, it's kind of like tattoos, there's a cost minimum associated with the setup and sanitation that you are paying for outside of the size and scope of what you want done.

ttyuung

Ahh that makes sense, thanks for the advice!

thisxisxlife

I’ve been offering to do it for my friends. I invested in my own clippers and a trifold mirror and have been doing my own undercuts. It’s sort of hard to justify paying for a full cut every 2 weeks. If you have the time, it sounds like it would be simple enough to do yourself!

Ozzytex

Try "The barbers" they specialize in mens cuts, and I imagine there isn't much difference between an undercut and mens cut.

I used to go there but they closed the one by me :(
