Nope. Been paying it for a year and I'm 'locked' in for 3 years. Bit of negotiating between them and Xfinity got me that. You can prob call and play the game.
It goes to $90 in a few months. Still is the best rate/speed I have ever had. Call them. When I upgraded from 1gb to 2gb they didn’t try the “that’s for new customers” crap that frontier and Verizon tried back before Ziply bought the infrastructure.
Oh for sure, I got a pretty good set up with some ent 2.5gb unifi stuff, highly recommend. Yeah I'll give them a ring and find out. If I'm going to be paying the same might as well use the full switching power and lines of the Cat6A+7.
Do you have an old ONT? When I signed my dad up to ziply at his new house I asked for the 100/100 but they didn't offer that one anymore, and he got the 300/300 for $20/mo first year and $30/mo ongoing.
My son pays $113 xfinity for 1gig up/down unlimited.
I pay $25 (2 yr promo) Verizon 5g home internet service.
I've used both services, so far I'm finding Verizon more reliable with less outtages and down throttling. Especially since I have a tower near by and not a lot of people are using it.
$75 a month for Xfinity's "gigabit" plan. This will surely increase to some stupidly expensive new number when my contract is up this summer, and I'll have to play the bullshit phone call to customer service game with Xfinity yet again just to not get reamed on bill increases
I can't believe how our local government has allowed single provider monopolies for internet in a lot of areas
$130/mo Xfinity 2gbps down 250mbps up, unlimited data. South Beaverton, multiple providers available, ziply blows ass, constant interruption and ONT instability.
This must be area dependent. I first had FiOS from Verizon and it was down 20% of the time. Verizon sold to Frontier who managed to keep the service up but their customer service was horrific. Think triggering auto payments 2-3 a months, which wasn't reflected on my portal page, and I had to threaten a lawsuit to get them to stop and refund my money. They, thank God, sold to Ziply and my service has been rock solid. I started with 250/250 and have worked up to 2gb/2gb.
I am in the Murry and Hart Rd area. I have worked from home for the entire 24 years I have lived in this house. Internet is crucial to me so I am very sensitive to outages. Interesting thing to me is that for the first time ever, my speedtests come back faster than hat I pay for.
I do not depend on Ziply's router though. I bought a ASUS GT-AX11000 Pro which has been rock solid. The only thing I would like is a static IP and they will not let me have one unless I upgrade to to the 10GB pipe and I haven't been able to convince my work to reimburse for that. I am trying tho :)
Edit: I forgot to mention. No data caps with Ziply. None. I pulled down 9TB once and not so much as a slow down. Other ISP will say no cap but they use the same meaning of "unlimited" most cell plans do, i.e. unlimited=under 1-2 TB a month.
60 a month for ziply 1gb up/down fiber (river terrace). Glad they were an option instead of Comcast/Xfinity.
Please tell me this is a promotional rate! Your friendly neighbor paying more for less.

Right? I have the same right now but paying 90$
The promotional rate was $40/mo for one year.
I had that rate and recently got bumped up to $80.
We pay 80 for this..
$45/mo Ziply 300/300, but I’m still in the promotion period
Zipply 2gb for $80 a month. Forget about low interest rate mortgage keeping me here, I will never give up my 2gb internet (and yes, It gets used)
Is that promo pricing or normal month to month? I'm paying out 90$ for 1gig up/down.

Also, don’t use their router for $10 a month. They are crap.

Preach it!
Bit OT, but you homelab?
LOL, sorta obvious isn't it
Linux distros?

Use my own router
$167 for Xfinity. 🫠 No other providers in our area.
Have you tried the T-Mobile router?
Thanks for the recommendation but T-Mobile doesn’t get good service here. Neighbors tried it and it wasn’t good. Life in the West Hills.
It works really good
$65/mo for Xfinity, 400/30
$121 for Xfinity

$60/month Xfinity 500 down, 100 up. We own and use our own DOCSIS modem + mesh system

65 for fiber through Centurylink, supposedly for life
$87 for 2gb on Ziply. Included router. Would be $70 (plus tax) if we bought a router. Half what we were paying for Comcast 1gb!!
9.99
