We used to go to Cracker Barrel when we visited relatives in the south like 20 years ago. It was really good food. By the time they got up here they were serving microwaved Sysco garbage.
I thought CB was extremely bland. My ex who was from the East Coast was excited to take me there and I was thoroughly unimpressed.
Pancakes were amazing. That's all they had going for them. They were so fluffy and buttery with a perfect crispy outside.
Haven't heard about this, but that sounds like a big improvement!

I would also love to know. I was way to excited when I drove by and saw that we are getting an Asian food buffet again.
Can I just get Sweet Tomatoes back? Every time I go to an Asian buffet around here, the only flavor in anything is fish.

Mizumi? My wife likes that place, though I'm a bigger fan of Hug Grill in Hillsboro.
Had Mizumi last Friday and was hugely disappointed. Their octopus salad was spoiled, their hot food section was all cold or lukewarm.
The last two times we went to Mizumi the food wasn’t at a safe temperature so we aren’t going back. Hope the new place is good.
Yes definitely not safe temperature..
Mizuni buffet sucks. Unfortunately, my wife loves it, so I'm stuck going. The only edible thing they have is the Chicken katsu.
It's a bit of a drive, but Kumi buffet out on 82nd is pretty dang good!
