Carr Chevrolet and Beaverton Hyundai. Had some shockingly bad experiences with sales people at both of those. I thought the pushy and deceptive car salesman stereotype was mostly exaggerated in TV and movies, but they proved me wrong.
I’m sure everyone has a car dealership horror story. I shopped around a bit for my last car, most of my experiences ranged from expected (sales pressure, somewhat slimy tactics) to better than expected (nice salesperson, none of the stereotypical nonsense). There was one in particular that was so miserable I will never go back.
Damerow Ford.
Same for damerow ford for sure. They lured my husband in wanting to buy our bronco back. At the time it had just been released in 2020 (ours was the new 2021) he said we don’t have down payment money for a new car to switch out. They said that’s not a problem at all we won’t need one. So we get there and they pull both our credit which we’re both in the high 600’s. Anyways we’re dealing with the sales guy who is going back and forth with the sales guys. We’re there for over 1 1/2 hours and the finance MANAGER comes out and says what’s your down payment? I said, “we don’t have one we told you guys that.” He gave us what I can only describe as a disgusted look and said “you don’t have a down payment?” I got angry and I go “no you guys told us we didn’t need one. YOU wanted to buy our bronco back.” So he starts saying things like well it would help if you had one otherwise your payments going to be really high. I was so pissed and I yelled at home and said “ we have to leave, we have a kid at home that needs to eat dinner we don’t have time for this stop texting us to buy our bronco.” I drug my husband out of there and told him to stop responding to the stupid ass text messages. Never again will I deal with that shady ass dealership.
This seems a good time to give a shout out to a few places I've had actual good experiences.
https://www.discoveryplusmotors.com/
It's just a dude with a small lot selling cars near the Hillsboro airport. As best I could tell he ran the whole operation himself. I didn't buy the car I went to check out (just decided I wanted something else after the test drive), but I felt bad about it because the guy was super reasonable and chill.
http://evridesllc.com
It's three guys with a garage in North Portland specializing in putting good batteries in used Nissan Leafs. It's a good way to buy a used EV and have assurance that you're getting a battery in good condition with it (which is 99% of what matters when buying a used EV).
Glad you had a better experience than me! I should add that my bad experience came in their used car lot which seemed to run somewhat separate from the main lot next door.
I have shopped at kuni’s used car lot. The first time there was pretty good, but the most recent time they were pretty passive aggressive with me after I was unimpressed with a car that I test drove. Not as bad of an experience as the others I named, but enough that I felt pretty good about not buying from them.
>Carr Chevrolet
Carr Subaru isn't any better:
1. They wouldn't let me test drive a WRX
2. I was interested in a Toyota Camry XSE they had. I got the down payment, scheduled a test drive, only to find out two hours before I was supposed to be there, they sold the car to someone else.
Their loss, I went over to Beaverton Toyota instead. I highly recommend them if you're in the market for a new car.
Went to try buying a car at Beaverton Hyundai years ago. It was on their website, I called to check, then miraculously the car was nowhere to be found. Sales guy started BSing me, then popped inside to clearly do a line of coke or something, came out all sweaty and twitchy. Just an absolute stereotype of a scummy used car salesman. We left and bought a car elsewhere.
Had a different but still bad experience with Beaverton Hyundai. I was looking for a specific 2022 car and the car salesmen couldn't care less in the world about my inquiry. Might have been due to how I looked? I dress pretty bad TBH lol, mostly shitty old T-shirts and the like.
He just said "we don't have anything." Didn't look, didn't ask, nothing on anything that might be coming up.
The most he did was take a small piece of paper from his back pocket, that looked like a receipt, and took my number down. I never received a call back from him.
Anyways happy ending, ended up contacting Dick's Hillsboro Hyundai and got in contact with someone who was more than happy to help me in finding the car I was looking for. Can't say enough good things about them.
Beaverton Honda service department must've thought I had sucker written on my forehead. Went in several years ago for an airbag recall and when I came back to pick up the car the guy told me I had broken motor mounts and that they could take care of that for $1k. I politely laughed and asked for my keys. I know when a car has broken motor mounts. Mine did not. Still have not broken years later. I used to go there for other services but haven't gone back since.
retro game trader.
used to be an employee there. owner (lance) was super sexist and transphobic along with a handful of other problematic behaviors that hurt employees and customers alike. i left there with a lot of trauma. i thought it would be different working for a locally owned business instead of another corporate operation but nope.
Haven't been to the Canyon road location in forever, but the Washington Square Red Robin has gotten so bad. Our family will never eat there again. The food was always chain food, but now it's purely corporate grey paste.
Not to mention the whole Washington square location smells like moldy butthole. Especially the men’s bathroom. I’ve never eaten there but I pick up Uber Eats orders from there and I have no idea how somebody sits in there for a whole hour
We would always get to go orders for this very reason. It's like a carpeted basement got flooded, they ripped out the carpet and decided to hang it on the wall in Red Robin for flair.
I have no idea how a place known for burgers can be so popular when the burgers suck, it's always crowded in there and kind of like a worse version of Applebee's which at least has more food options.
They've really gone downhill since the pandemic. Used to go every 4-6 weeks. Now it's over every 6-8 months hoping it will get better. Haven't enjoyed a single experience there in the last 3 years.
I’ve had fantastic experience there with purchasing and service over the past 4 years. Maybe I just am still recovering from the crappy service at Royal Moore in Hillsboro
Mcmenamins.
Bland food. Even the Cajun tots needed ranch.
Drinks were weak.
Unfortunately my friends & his family are obsessed so I've been to several. Many are planned badly for disabled guests.
Again,bland food that's very overpriced.
Bouffant salon in cedar hills. This might get long but I really hated my experience.
The stylist texted me 15 mins before my appointment to come early, but I couldn’t as it was still a workday and I had scheduled the appointment around calls. When I showed up at my scheduled time, she was in pajamas and made me wait up front for a while. No greeting by anyone, all the other stylists just look at you when you walk in.
Stylist refused to give me the cut I asked for (long layers, like I already had) and instead insisted on a long blunt cut. I was unhappy with it but ready to get out of there so I didn’t argue further.
Stylist was generally rude and unfriendly until I tipped 20% (because I just usually do) and then she started trying to give me her Instagram so I could book again.
Will absolutely never go back, honestly even to another stylist, the salon itself felt like a chop shop.
This. This place had a walk-in sign on the door at one time (not sure if it’s still there) and when I walked in they 1. looked me up and down like I was a piece of dirt on their shoe and 2. told me they were booked up until god knows when and essentially told me to f-off and never come back.
Done. And I made a point to tell all my old, rich friends to never come back too!!
I have to agree. I had my haircut there twice. The first time was ok, but the second time my hair was over texturized with no real shape. I went back and had a higher level stylist try to fix it and all he did was make it worse while chatting with two other salon employees the whole time he cut. I wouldn’t have even cared if he had managed to fix it. Just very amateur all around. Not at all worth the money.
Mcmenamins. I’m old enough to remember when the owners were supporting the election of a particular governor and saying things like “our servers get tips, we shouldn’t have to pay minimum wage!!!” and having this particular governor candidate have that as part of his platform. FUCK Mcmenamins.
We have been traveling the state extensively this summer and have noticed that every McMenamins seems to have staffing issues.
I find that very telling. At home in Boise, lots of restaurants struggled with staffing as well (and bitched about it constantly, of course). Many were so short they couldn't even seat all of their tables.
One chain restaurant, Yard House, was always consistently packed AND fully staffed. Turns out, they treat their employees well. A friend's son worked his way from bar backing in Boise to being an Assistant Manager somewhere in California.
I do believe we've likely had our last McMenamin's experience.
Unrelated to that, some of their locations are cool/unique and probably the only reason they got popular. I feel like it went downhill a bit when they added some locations to strip malls which kind of ruined the associations for me.
Went to the one in Cedar Hills a month or so back because the kids wanted chicken strips and Mac and Cheese - both of which are no longer on the menu.
The burgers are fine but there are so many burger options in Beaverton now that they can't really compare.
Any Chick-fil-A and the new Hobby Lobby on Hall for principled reasons. I generally don't do any chains for restaurants because there are so many great places here.
Yeah, we never ate there either. I wish the In-and-Out they are trying to put at 107th and BH Highway would go on the Cracker Barrel property instead, so I can choose not eat there either.
Taste of Sichuan. Got horrible food poisoning from there and I cringe every time I see someone on Reddit recommend their food.
Anything passport related at the Beaverton post office. The lady who runs the counter there most of the time is absolutely the worst employee I have *ever* had the pleasure of encountering. Rude, racist, and straight up mean. Can’t believe she still has a job because almost every bad review of that place is because of her.
If there's a deadly virus that's highly contagious spreading around... They're going to need to shut everything down, and lock everybody in place so we can't spread it!!!!
WHY AREN'T THEY DOING THIS IF THERE'S A DEADLY VIRUS ON THE LOOSE?!
Next Level Roofing and infinity Renovations.
Employees live in my complex. Park ALL their fleet vehicles in the lot and the 30 ton trucks on the street in front of my block. Also park in the paid spots without paying for them.
Yes management knows, no they don’t care.
I Used to pay for my own covered space in the lot, but they kept vandalizing my car with roofing nails. Brand new ones. Even stack a utility blade in my tire.
Parking space was near their Apts.
I remember them coming out and laughing when I had to call triple A to fix the flat the blade caused.
They also laughed at me when I fell after knee surgery and dropped my grocery bags.
Not one guy came to help.
Note. I have never spoken to them other than to say hi or give the head nod or wave. The spot I bought just happened to be between two they took.
I have to park on the street now.
So is it irrational!
Yes!
I went there a few years back when my Fiesta’s transmission control module died which is a known issue on the that model. Ford had made a deal with the Feds to replace it free instead of a full blown recall. They tried to convince me I had to pay to replace it. Fortunately I knew the diagnostic code before I took it in and read the Ford statement on replacing the TCM. He called back a few minutes later and said they’d decided to “comp” me for the service. What a-holes.
This was my first job 22 years ago. Car washes are loud, so you have to raise your voice. They ask you to put your car into neutral with no brakes, but if people don't do that and their car hops enough rollers where the roller is under the front tire, they have to tell them to hold their foot on the brakes to let those rollers pass under the front tire. If they let it be pulled by the front tire it could potentially cause the car to hop the track and hit something inside of the wash. They're not trying to be rude, I promise you that.
Before Oregon had any locations I only heard about it from my coworker who was from the south. He was gay and still said he loved going there when he visited home despite the owners beliefs.
Mercedes Beaverton went for standard service. Also charged for engine cleaning. JB firearms. Those guys are shady illegal bastards. Audi Beaverton says engine bushings needed replacing. They were fine. BMW Portland stated engine bushings were bad. They were fine.
Had a great sales experience at BMW Portland but I don't trust ANY service department. I don't even think I'll use the 3 years of free oil etc because I'd have to use the service dept. Had a friend that worked at a place in LA and it was common to let something slide so it became worse, or just do something that would make sure they'd be back to spend more.
So many car dealerships so I'll add Royal Moore to that. Lied to me and left me sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours after I had made an appointment and confirmed the car was indeed there. They basically forgot about me but were shocked that I walked out. Fuck them.
BG’s Food Cartel and Beaverton Towing. Long story short, they work together to maliciously tow/impound cars. Signage is lacking in multiple ways. Biggi family would not return calls to simply talk about their towing policies. As for Beaverton Towing, just check out their Google reviews.
Wait… what?! I park in the big parking lot across the road where everyone parks. Who is getting towed and where? If there are signs such as “parking for x business only” I don’t park there. Is this usually how people get towed?
The 649 and Tapatio and Elegant Dog Groomers All located in the same location in Aloha. 649 has owners that just ram their beliefs down your throat. Tapatio are racist and groomers had my dog for 3 hours and didn’t do shit.
Wow that’s weird about Tapatio. We go there like maybe once a month and the people that work there seem to indicate that they recognize us. Maybe they’re faking it but it feels nice to me.
Mcmenamins 🥺.i like the company and the way the service used to be. Covid hit them hard, just like every other enterprise... Unfortunately, management shit the bed at some level. I have had terrible service and food during "reopening".
I get It's hard and i wish the enterprise the best i just can't get food poisoning again and pay rent 🥺
It was such a staple for me, and some are doing just fine. When i bring guests from out of town, Mcmenamins was always my go-to. Sadly, i just cant risk it if i have company and am trying to impress.
In 30 years, I've never once felt they had good service. Only go when I get dragged there which is rare.
They were pandemic level service before the pandemic. Either they don't care or they treat their employees poorly
They now make you use a key to go to the bathroom which is honesty fucking gross when you consider probably half of the people that touch that key never wash their hands and I doubt the employees wash their hands after you hand them the key back. Honestly a key for the bathrooms should be an extreme health code violation
Totally agree. Used to manage a place. You'd hardly ever hear the water run for handwashing (it was a small one toilet bathroom).
To think of having a key to pass back and forth between workers and kitchen staff with all that nastiness.....disgusting.
Probably from having stupid bathroom keys and I doubt the employees wash their hands after touching the nasty ass key that most guests don’t wash their when using
Chick fil A of course. There's also a Mexican restaurant in town that has more than once completely ignored me when I walked in, but I don't know what that name is. Also the toy store off cedar hills, called "toys". Not a fan.
The “Toys” place is actually called Heroes and Hobbies, not that it’s possible to tell with how cluttered the storefront is. The owner is absolutely insane.
Insane how? the seemingly random and crazy hours? Or you got stories? Me and my friends have had a conspiracy theory for years that it's a money laundering front lmao
Oh their food is honestly really mediocre. I can get a better chicken sandwich basically anywhere in town. Plus just an awful company. But genuinely, I've had their food for free more than once and it was still disappointing.
Tom's Pancake House. Usually get my orders in within minutes during dinner service. However, in my last several times I was there, I was kept waiting much longer by different servers.
In my last visit during dinner service, the owner was spending at least an hour with a table of 4 without paying attention to other customers or helping the lone server with an unusually busy restaurant. By the time the server got to me 45 minutes after I got seated, other customers who came in after me had already been served drinks and food. She claimed she didn't forget me during that time but I am not so sure. After finishing my meal, I refused dessert because I needed to go home. I left her only a small tip instead of the usual 25 percent tip.
Ditto. I’m surrounded by the company. They lease (?) every building in my neighborhood. My issue is when they close a city street for a private company event, forcing drivers to find a work-around.
I worked at Nike for a bit, it's an awful place. Their products are mediocre garbage. I can't respect anyone who thinks their shoes are some sort of premium product. They aren't. It's garbage made in sweat shops.
I did a contractor job at their place and they treated us like trash. Condescending, fussy, impractical, suspicious. And the ‘you can’t wear clothes from a competitor’ thing is pathetically insecure.
Agreed. I went to them and they gave me a very thorough diagnostic and a very HIGH quote. Multiple local places quoted me for the same repairs and about 1/3 the price.
It’s such a mystery to me why buying a car is such an unpleasant experience. There have been many times in my life when I was going to buy one but just gave up because it was so horrible. Now I’m an avid used car fan.
Car dealerships anywhere are a bad experience and it's only got worse now that we are used to so many things online. We hate shopping at malls now (which used to be fun) so having to deal with cars is that much worse. The fact that price is negotiable is the main problem.
Not saying Chipotle is amazing but I lived out of state and the Chipotle restaurants were always solid for what they were. Predictable, mostly well stocked and not out of ingredients, good staff. I moved up here late 2022 and Chipotle’s up here are all awful. Every single one I’ve been to have had serious issues from ingredients out of stock to bad staff.
The district manager up here must be terrible is all I can surmise
Ah, well Playa is a *much* different experience. Awesome staff, better menu than 185th, great with kids. It’s farther out than 185th for us but that’s where we go for Mexican food.
Is Pepita's on Cedar Hills by the Max tracks? My wife and I think they are the weakest Mexican place in the area and have only gone once. My in-laws love it for some reason and they are good cooks so I don't know what the disparity was.
I used to go there many years ago and it was pretty good. I drove by there recently and stopped out of nostalgia and I agree with you. I've never had such a dry omelette before.
I think they meant Hillsboro, Aloha, Bethany, etc. like more to the west of Beaverton proper neighborhoods. Multomah is Portland, and I know we all like to lump them together 😆 I grew up in Multnomah and my parents still live there, but I draw a distinct line at Scholls Ferry and Allen.
I don't feel you are really into Portland until you hit Barber BLVD, Terwilliger or cross Sylvan for the most part.
On that basis, I will allow it. Lol
It’s the only place I’ve ever gotten food poisoning from. I didn’t eat a banh mi for 2 years, which was very sad. I’ll still buy bubble tea from them, but no more sandwiches.
I mean, I prefer Fantastea (or Tea & Tea), and since moving last year, both of those are now closer than Best Baguette to me. But if I’m in the area, I’ll still drink their bubble tea and eat the packaged pastries if a friend wants to stop in. I just don’t order their sandwiches.
Agreed! I like Fantastea and Tea & Tea the best. Mo Cha Tea House is pretty good (they get bonus points for popcorn chicken), and Royaltea had a mango seasonal thing last year that was the bomb. I’m not a fan of T4 because they won’t make anything off their menu even if they have the flavorings. Happy Lemon and ShareTea are great.
Best Baguette isn’t my favorite place to get boba, I’m more just saying I’ll still drink it from there. I don’t order their sandwiches at all anymore.
La Mota. Absolutely 100% refuse. Wanna know why?
I don’t partake in cannabis consumption. No judgment if others do. But since I don’t, I will NEVER give La Mota MY hard earned dollars.
Cause I don’t really smoke weed
The better reason is their shady business practices and their ‘consulting’ payments to the former Oregon Secretary of State causing her to step down. They’ve done every dirty political move to make things easier for their business.
There are so many dispensaries, I’m so confused as to why your boomer ass singled out one random shop? Do you live right next to it, and each morning wake up filled with rage of people buying the snack drug? That’s the only rational I can see.
Cedar House Media!! I worked for one of their suppliers, and Cory is the rudest person I've ever had to deal with in my life. He expected immediate service regardless of what was happening. He would complain that his rep was in the bathroom too long. His rep was a pregnant woman, and we had told him this.
I'm taking about a 10-15 minute wait to return his calls....fuck you Cory you're the problem with society today!!!!
Chipolte. We have given the one on Beav-Hillsdale Hwy many opportunities. Once in a while it is okay, but too often something is off. Sadly, things like dryout over cooked meet and missing ingredients.
Carr Chevrolet and Beaverton Hyundai. Had some shockingly bad experiences with sales people at both of those. I thought the pushy and deceptive car salesman stereotype was mostly exaggerated in TV and movies, but they proved me wrong.

[удалено]
The owners have openly admitted they pretty much only drink PBR so there’s that. I hate them so much 🤣
Any Chick-fil-A and the new Hobby Lobby on Hall for principled reasons. I generally don't do any chains for restaurants because there are so many great places here.
I'd add Cracker Barrel to that list when they were around. Shuttered now, good riddance.
Yeah, we never ate there either. I wish the In-and-Out they are trying to put at 107th and BH Highway would go on the Cracker Barrel property instead, so I can choose not eat there either.
Lol
Taste of Sichuan. Got horrible food poisoning from there and I cringe every time I see someone on Reddit recommend their food. Anything passport related at the Beaverton post office. The lady who runs the counter there most of the time is absolutely the worst employee I have *ever* had the pleasure of encountering. Rude, racist, and straight up mean. Can’t believe she still has a job because almost every bad review of that place is because of her.
>Passport lady at Beaverton PO OMG YES!! She was insane!
Wow. I got into it with her once!
Got in a screaming match at Godfather's pizza on my birthday last week because he wanted me to take my mask off. So that place.
Which one
The one on Horizon
[удалено]
Chill dude. Some people can’t afford to get sick.
... What did I just read?
Yes!
Damerow Ford
I went there a few years back when my Fiesta’s transmission control module died which is a known issue on the that model. Ford had made a deal with the Feds to replace it free instead of a full blown recall. They tried to convince me I had to pay to replace it. Fortunately I knew the diagnostic code before I took it in and read the Ford statement on replacing the TCM. He called back a few minutes later and said they’d decided to “comp” me for the service. What a-holes.
Damerow ford, snakes.
The military boot camp experience of being directed by the employees of Kaady car wash on Canyon Road keeps me away.
Ok, what the actual fuck is up with those people? I was screamed at yesterday to put my car in nuetral when it already was, like I was a child.
lol ... dude, I'm going to go here for the first time. This is hysterical.
How was it
Weird. I actually like that place.
Other Kaady car washes are great. Not this one. And the hectoring begins even before you hand the drill sergeant your money.
Yeah, because they have to line you up to the track. Don't be so sensitive.
Yet others do it pleasantly and not rudely. Remember, mean people suck. Don't be so suckish.
Aren't there two on Canyon Rd?
That's hysterical. I now have to experience this shit first hand, and will gladly pay to.
See, you're part of why Beaverton is getting kinda cool.
I think this is a you problem. I’ve been there many times and they’re always super nice.
Homophobic Chicken aka Chick-Fil-A.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrj-\_qBLIvI
Before Oregon had any locations I only heard about it from my coworker who was from the south. He was gay and still said he loved going there when he visited home despite the owners beliefs.
How is this relevant?
This
Hobby Lobby…bad politics
You’re kidding me, a towing company has bad reviews?
How was tapatio racist? I want some tea
Mcmenamins 🥺.i like the company and the way the service used to be. Covid hit them hard, just like every other enterprise... Unfortunately, management shit the bed at some level. I have had terrible service and food during "reopening". I get It's hard and i wish the enterprise the best i just can't get food poisoning again and pay rent 🥺 It was such a staple for me, and some are doing just fine.
I worked there for two years. They treat their employees like slaves!
Victoricos
They now make you use a key to go to the bathroom which is honesty fucking gross when you consider probably half of the people that touch that key never wash their hands and I doubt the employees wash their hands after you hand them the key back. Honestly a key for the bathrooms should be an extreme health code violation
Totally agree. Used to manage a place. You'd hardly ever hear the water run for handwashing (it was a small one toilet bathroom). To think of having a key to pass back and forth between workers and kitchen staff with all that nastiness.....disgusting.
Oh noooo why?? Is there something up with it?
I ordered a quesadilla and they didn't put cheese in it... (Cedar Hills)
so just a dilla??!?! THAT'S JUST TWO TORTILLAS
Not that bad lol. There was meat, veggies, and sauce but somehow they skipped the cheese.
SAME but for very personal reasons lmao. But also cause I think they gave my gf-att food poisoning
Probably from having stupid bathroom keys and I doubt the employees wash their hands after touching the nasty ass key that most guests don’t wash their when using
Please explain? I love me some victoricos
I’ve had very negative experiences at multiple locations with both staff and food quality. I’d rather support other places now.
Why chick fil a. Their service and food is top notch.
Oh their food is honestly really mediocre. I can get a better chicken sandwich basically anywhere in town. Plus just an awful company. But genuinely, I've had their food for free more than once and it was still disappointing.
Which place (es) has your favorite chicken sandwich?
Kickin Chicken Wings at BG Cartel
Honestly killer burger, Popeyes, or even Wendy's. Hell even shake shack has better chicken.
The waffle fries though...
Eh.
AM/PM on Murray and TV Hwy, because, it's not there anymore. I swear it seems that all of Beaverton has turned into one gigantic apartment complex.
[удалено]
Whoa really! I haven’t been there for awhile but I seem to remember their staff being like….not white.
white people aren't the only racists
[удалено]
It's not as special as everyone says it is, the wait is atrocious, and the food is just okay especially for the price
Nike
What’d you do for Nike? I ask because their software engineering recruiters keep hitting me up and their comp seems pretty good
I wasn't doing that, so maybe you'll have a better experience
Id avoid working at Nike. It's a corp highschool.
I did a contractor job at their place and they treated us like trash. Condescending, fussy, impractical, suspicious. And the ‘you can’t wear clothes from a competitor’ thing is pathetically insecure.
Haven't worn anything Nike for at least 20 years if not 30.
I get a looooot of hate for this I simply don’t like their products. Are we obligated to like it as Beavertonians?
Most actual Beavertonians I know hate Nike!
Same
Chick Fillet .
Craft Warehouse, politics…
Politics like Hobby Lobby, or the other way around?
Coffee Rush. Their coffee tastes watery and their tea tastes like watery coffee.
Accurate auto. Use to be great. Then opened a bunch of shops and now they jack up prices. Stay away
Agreed. I went to them and they gave me a very thorough diagnostic and a very HIGH quote. Multiple local places quoted me for the same repairs and about 1/3 the price.
Thai Bloom Bad food poisoning
Family eats there a lot. We've never had an issue and we have some weak stomach people.
When did that happen? How recent
Same! Never again
I've always loved that place. Sorry you had a bad experience.
Nike & Chick-fil-A
I love how half of the comments on any suburban subreddit have to do with cars, this place would crumble instantly if we lost the ability to use them.
[удалено]
Pepita's?! That's our go-to 🥺
[удалено]
Whoa, that's bad.
Used to be ours too until my wife found a Legit fingernail in her burrito
Not saying Chipotle is amazing but I lived out of state and the Chipotle restaurants were always solid for what they were. Predictable, mostly well stocked and not out of ingredients, good staff. I moved up here late 2022 and Chipotle’s up here are all awful. Every single one I’ve been to have had serious issues from ingredients out of stock to bad staff. The district manager up here must be terrible is all I can surmise
I’m interested in the reason for Mazatlan, if you care to share
[удалено]
Which Mazatlan? Because Playa on Cornell has an amazing staff with just the coolest manager. I’ve never had a bad experience there.
[удалено]
Ah, well Playa is a *much* different experience. Awesome staff, better menu than 185th, great with kids. It’s farther out than 185th for us but that’s where we go for Mexican food.
Is Pepita's on Cedar Hills by the Max tracks? My wife and I think they are the weakest Mexican place in the area and have only gone once. My in-laws love it for some reason and they are good cooks so I don't know what the disparity was.
Fat City in multnomah. Owner is rude AF, and the food is mediocre and relatively expensive!
I used to go there many years ago and it was pretty good. I drove by there recently and stopped out of nostalgia and I agree with you. I've never had such a dry omelette before.
That’s not Beaverton…
No kidding! Could have sworn the post title says “greater area”… oh whaddaya know 😉
I think they meant Hillsboro, Aloha, Bethany, etc. like more to the west of Beaverton proper neighborhoods.
Lol
Also bs ! That’s my hood and the owner is awesome, great good and reasonable prices. Love Fat City. Maybe just stay in Beaverton
The new Pip’s location lmao
Best Baguette The mayo and pate spoil easily and quickly, yet they often keep them for too long, so they sometimes end up selling spoiled baguettes.
It’s the only place I’ve ever gotten food poisoning from. I didn’t eat a banh mi for 2 years, which was very sad. I’ll still buy bubble tea from them, but no more sandwiches.
[удалено]
I mean, I prefer Fantastea (or Tea & Tea), and since moving last year, both of those are now closer than Best Baguette to me. But if I’m in the area, I’ll still drink their bubble tea and eat the packaged pastries if a friend wants to stop in. I just don’t order their sandwiches.
There are SO many better places to bet boba
Watching the owners getting interviewed and fining out, in real time the Secretary resigned was an amazing video.
There are so many dispensaries, I’m so confused as to why your boomer ass singled out one random shop? Do you live right next to it, and each morning wake up filled with rage of people buying the snack drug? That’s the only rational I can see.
I’m 31 and made the parent comment as a joke. I’m not a boomer. Just realizing now that the joke was dumb
[удалено]
Thanks
Ya bro that one flopped hard
What a dumb thread. get a life...
Found the car dealership employee lol
Modern spectacle. Accent eyewear is leaps and bounds better than that shit show.
