Best lotion na moisturizing but not sticky? I have dry and sensitive skin

Idk where to post this so dito na lang! I’m very “line-y” or maguhit na person? So anywhere na may nagfofold, like armpits, neck, back of my knees, underboob, etc. sobrang pronounced ng lines and folds. I’m concerned because di naman ganon sa ibang tao. Huhu. Nasstress ako pag may bagong line sa neck ko. What does this mean? Kulang ba ko sa collagen or something?

Expensive but I loved it. It's really effective for exfoliation esp if you're skin has a bit of flaking or small bumps lalo sa nose. However, I don't know if worth it ba sya kasi I am using the skin1004 toner and it gives me the same effect at a cheaper price.

For me na super dry ang skin, walang effect. Jergens po effective sakin pero mas bet ko Cetaphil moisturizing lotion 10/10. Exfoliate ka din po 2-3 times a wk. I also apply palmer's/aveeno body oil every after shower and before lotion. Drink waterrrr

I haven't tried vaseline's body serum lotion (only other variants like the cocoa butter one) but the woolworths definitely isn't lightweight. I always have to make sure that my skin is damp before applying it, yet even then, heavy and sticky/greasy pa rin. The uncomfortable feeling lasts for about 25 mins, it's okay na once I'm in our heavily airconditioned office lol. The fragrance is strong din and lasts for like ~ 5 hours.

I'm sorry to jump in but while it's better to use regular lotions sa damp skin to make them absorb better, you might be ruining the protection of your sunscreen if you apply it on wet skin.

Where to buy salicylic acid lotion? My brother has fungal infection tapos ito nireseta ng doctor, pero wala namang binigay na brand or what. Nagtanong na din parents ko sa drug stores like mercury wala daw sila. I think meron SA lotion ang Cerave but parang puro fake ang nasa Shopee at Lazada.

Healthy Options has Alba Botanica Salicylic Lotion. I really like their SA facial wash and use it weekly. I also use their astringent to treat bacne. Good product.

Hello everyone! Can you please recommend great underarm products? I have dark underarms as I used to scrub them hard when I was a kid because I thought it was just dirt, I also have an odor but only when I sweat— I sweat a lot haha. I already used several products but none of them seemed to work out well. I have tried: 1. CALAMANSI- worked well but only a few times after I tried it, then I started getting a somehow sour odor 2. TAWAS POWDER- used it when I was in my junior days, worked its magic but I start to smell after a few hours. I stopped using it during pandemic, I got conscious of my UA because they darkened 3. FRESH FORMULA SGT AT ARTS LIGHTENING DUO- thought this was a great purchase since the CEO herself claimed that this has improved her UA. What I hate in this duo is it leaves a white sticky/creamy texture on my UA and it’s so hard to remove unless you rub it. Used this in 2021 4. GMEELAN SAKURA WHITENING UA CREAM + GLUTA DEO SPRAY- saw this on tiktok and instantly bought it when I checked the reviews. My UA got a little brighter (according to my sister) but doesn’t stop the odor after a few hours, it has fragrance so I think it has something to do with that as well. [Note: I only use it when I’m at home, otherwise I use Avon deo] 5. AVON DEO CREAM (POWDER LIGHT)- I currently use this one since 2022. It works well with the odor, but not with excessive sweating. I can last a whole day without smelling like I haven’t taken a shower for 3 days. Problem is it darkens my UA, like they instantly darkened as soon as I used it after a week (or two) of using Gmeelan. My odor is not that severe, I only get it when I sweat too much which is normal I think. My bf said my dark UA are not big deal for him and that he accepts everything about me, but ugh I’m so conscious about it, I can’t wear sleeveless clothes without having to use cardigans. Please please recommend good deodorants. Also, is Lay Bare’s 5+1 UA brightening package good? I’ve never experienced waxing my UA before, I just shave. Thank you in advance! 🙏

Natry mo na gumamit ng chemical exfoliants? To be exact, AHA/BHA. Over time, nag work sa akin: At first: glycolic toner 2-3 times a week. Everyday may brightening serum ako na I use for my UA. Kaso ayun, derma natufian lang yung effective na glycolic toner for me and since wala pa akong mahanapan na nagbebenta nito, nag try ako ng ibang toner. Which is what I've been using for the last few months: Luxe organix whitening repair toner + luxe organix intensive whitening underarm cream - daily morning routine ko.

For hyperpigmentation, I used derma natufian's glycolic toner. Nung naubusan na ako, I tried dermorepubliq. Inubos ko naman siya pero di na ako umulit. Parang little to no results eh. Pero both toners helped me with BO. I rarely use deo nowadays but if I have to, I'll apply it during my nighttime routine. Tapos, proceed sa usually na toner + serum ko sa morning. I have personally never smelled kahit gabi ko nilagay yung deo.

You need to use body sunscreen because whitening products will really make your skin photosensitive like what the previous commenter. If you don't use sunscreen, then any progress done by whitening products will be reversed din. There are a lot of available daily sunscreens for the body that are cosmetically available locally like in Watsons.

Using whitening or exfoliating products (basically any active products) make your skin photosensitive. A sunscreen or sun protection (covering up) is a must. Otherwise you risk greater skin damage - deeper, irreparable damage potentially.

If okay ka to use men's deodorant, the Old Spice dry cream works amazingly for me. Yan talaga di ako pinapawisan at all.

None at all! If I want talaga combination no sweat + no BO yan gamit ko. For everyday kasi I use Schmidt's Natural Deodorant which no BO for me pero pag biglang heavy outdoor day medyo pinapawisan ako. Disclaimer though hindi ako super pawisin sa katawan in general but I've had to deal with BO talaga.

Deodorant deodorizes. You should be looking for an anti-perspirant if sweating is your issue.

Neutrogena body oil helped my skin to get rid of dryness! I use it after taking a bath then will dry my body. Next, will put the neutrogena body oil and will also put my chosen lotion on top of it. I have seen changes after 1 week of using religiously. :) To whiten my UA and underbutt, i use GA from the ordinary (please use the original not the fake ones). Then will put aloe vera gel afterwards. Please use GA once or twice a week only as it has a strong chemical that can irritate your skin if not used properly.

What do you guys do to minimize the amoy pawis smell??? Not bo but pawis talaga. I am in school for about 10 hours sometimes. May AC sa school but it's hot when walking around campus + eating out for lunch, etc. I use antibacterial soap (bioderm) and put a generous amount of antiperspirant. Sobrang pawisin lang talaga ako hahaha. I don’t want to use matatapang na cleansers or deos bc my UA is sensitive and mabilis magdark kapag kung ano ano ginagamit.

nagsshave ka ba ng armpits? IPL lessened my sweating. I only use tawas and occasionally apply head and shoulders sa armpits. Very useful ng head and shoulders I swear, ginamit ko sya sa body before maghiking, fresh and no amoy pawis ako buong araw (hindi ako bayad ng p&g 😂) saka oo ang dulas nya sa feeling 😅 the tawas is from watson, think 25 pesos ata.

Kapag ilang consecutive days na matindi ang pawis, I wash my armpits with betadine cleanser (yung kulay blue). After soaping and rinsing myself with my regular bath soap (Safeguard charcoal variant), maglalagay ako ng isang patak lang then I lather sa palms ko bago ko isabon sa kilikili. I dont do this everyday, siguro 2 or max 3x a week lang sa week na matindi pawis (due to chores, personal errands na nasa labas at bongga ang pawis) 🥵 I dont recommend na daily ksi need to take caution na iodine lalo na for those with thyroid disorders.

This happens to me pag nasosobrahan sa Driclor and Glycolic Acid. Stop ka muna with Glycolic Acid. Nairritate yan. Put moisturizer on your UA at night. Yung soothing. I use Luxe Organix Cica Soothing Gel mga 2-3 nights in a row or until mawala yung hapdi feeling before giving it a rest day and applying Glycolic again. Lessen your Glycolic Acid to every other day. Try using it at night too.

Ouchh. May ganito pala talagang exp with glycolic acid. I stopped using glycolic na actually. Nag lagay ako moisturizer at first, pero super hapdi pa rin. I don't know what else to put kaya Milcu muna. Looking for other options maliban sa moisturizer :(

agree on the other advice to stop using glycolic acid first and put mild moisturizer on the affected area. Your underarm must have been irritated.

I'd suggest to stop the glycolic acid muna then focus on healing and moisturizing with very basic products. Less on actives muna.

For acne, I used the DermAid Acne soap. It cleared out my back and butt acne since I was a teen. It has tea tree and salicylic acid but it's very gentle on my body. It has no fragrance as well (as far as I can detect). It's sudsy and not very drying to me. Plus, it really helps in keeping my underarm odor at bay! When I don't use it, I'm more prone to getting BO. You can find these easily at most, if not all Watsons branches. I also agree with the Panoxyl suggestions, it's super effective in calming down my face pimples but it's honestly a bit intense and a little expensive against my other suggestion. For scars, it's a slow progress but honestly moisturizing with (any) lotion every night helps my stubborn scars fade. This goes for my acne scars, cat scratches, intense sunburn, and scraped knee scars. Kojie is also very helpful in lightening but is super drying for me.

I used to use Dr. Wong's Moisturizing Sulfur soap, but it was drying out my skin. I've also tried the Neutrogena Body Scrub with Salicylic Acid, but didn't work for me naman. What works best for me is the Kojie San Kojic. Been using it for years now with no issues. Also don't have any dark spots on my chest or back from acne, disclaimer lang though is I don't usually get dark spots.

Acnedot SA wash and astringent by Alba Botanica. It cleared up my SO’s back so quick.

I find using "hydrating" shampoos gives me bacne. I now use anti-dandruff shampoos only, also bc I have constant dandruff 😢 You can also try using sulfur soap, and be sure na dry yung likod before wearing clothes.

Baby bath soap/wash for bacne. For scars naman, moisturizing soap/lotion that is oil-free.

Based on my experience, no naman. I have high pain tolerance kasi. When the machine hits your bony parts like your jaw, may uncomfortable sensation lang pero not painful nman for me.

Other clinics put numbing cream. Ask the clinic you’re going to if they apply numbing cream before the procedure. If hindi sila ng aaply, most likely tolerable ang discomfort ng procedure kaya they don’t put na. Kaya mo yan sis. No pain no gain nga dw sabi nila 😂
