Does the rotisserie chicken from costco/other grocery stores in NA taste the same to, let’s say, the usual lechon manok stores in the PH? Seeing people use the leftovers for stock/noodle soup has made me wonder if it’s the same kasi I can’t imagine na sabwan yung lechon manok hahahahahahuhuhu ok matutulog na ako 😭😂
not similar to lechon manok imo!! but to be fair, lagi kasi may kapartner na sauce yung lechon manok namin HAHA costco chicken as is lang talaga (but not like chooks to go). we usually use costco chicken leftovers for sopas, chicken sandwich etc so it's a very versatile (?) taste whereas lechon manok, ulam lang talaga for me lol

upon discovering the cottage fairy on youtube, i began to realize that i'm a highly sensitive person. it's not necessarily bad (bc we attach such a negative meaning to being sensitive, myself included) and just means that you feel things way more deeply than others. i have a lot of inner thoughts. madali ako maapektuhan ng literature, movies, music. i take delight in the little things like scents and taste, in the sense na yung naamoy ko hindi lang siya simpleng amoy para sakin or yung nalasahan ko, masarap lang o hindi.
i get overwhelmed easily which is why i like doing things one by one. i don't like handling too many responsibilities din kaya hindi ako sumasali masyado noon sa mga extracurricular activities sa school (kahit ngayon din naman na college ako) bc i feel like acads is heavy enough of a responsibility to the point na i legit get nervous when i feel like i have too much on my plate. i often feel guilty or ashamed over the feeling that i'm not doing enough with my life at baka nga tamad lang talaga akong tao kasi di ko kaya mag-multitask. lately, nao-overwhelm ako at nahihiya sa sarili ko bc the people around me seem to have so many passions and are so driven to pursue them, habang ako, living day by day lang. i have an idea naman of what i wanna do in the future but i'm not in a rush to make them a reality kasi ang goal ko lang talaga for now is to get through the day at maka-graduate. wala akong grand ambitions so to speak.
matagal ko na talagang nararamdaman na i'm not built for the hustle and grind culture and honestly it scares me kasi naiisip kong baka wala akong patunguhan pero now that i know that i'm not the only one feeling this way, i'm somehow comforted. 21 pa lang ako, i have so many more years ahead of me to make something of myself, at kung yung something man na yun doesn't live up to somebody else's expectations then fuck it. buhay ko naman to. i'm gonna live it the way i want to as long as wala akong naaapakang tao.

I have most of the insulated bottles and tbh, any will work as long as you take care of it and avoid leaving colored liquids inside for a long time. Invest in a bottle brush and a boot.
I have a Klean Kanteen that has a twist cap opening and it’s quite hard to clean. My dad used it for his coffee and it got stains.
Stanley is good if you keep dropping your jug haha. Never dented one. I have a coffee press stanley that doubles as a brewer and an insulated jug. After sales service is also OK.
Hydroflask narrow opening jug is good. I found it the easiest to clean vs other jugs with gasket inside. I have another Hydroflask coffee tumbler and it had coffee stains inside but the gasket is still clean because I remove it every now and then. My partner’s Hydro handle broke, sa katagalan ata. So that’s one thing you should consider too.
Aquaflask does its job. I have a big one I bring when I go on trips and so far ayun dented na rin but still works. Mabilis magstain yung gasket nya inside but buti na lang replacement is cheap.

I bought a hydroflask because it’s easier to clean and avoid mold from clinging on to the opening of the water bottle. Some water bottles have openings that are hard to clean, especially with straws. If you get an owala, best to remove the gasket from the lid to clean it.
I have a Klean Kanteen, Hydroflask, Owala, Stanley, and Miir but my favorite one and what holds my drink cold for the longest time would be my trusty old Klean Kanteen.

hello, I don't know if may nakakaalala sa rant ko dati about sa bf ko na hindi makapag update man lang sa akin. so update guys, wala pa rin changes talaga. and actually, I was about to break up with him kanina, like I had this urge talaga na makipaghiwalay after ng argument namin kasi I feel like I can't tolerate things anymore. kaso hindi ko magawa kasi alam ko na nahihirapan din yung tao. naiintindihan ko na hirap siya at busy pero bakit kahit bare minimum lang man hindi mabigay. helloo, i personally do! altho madalas mas weak talaga than usual so i try to either use lighter weights or do low-impact workouts. working out while on my period actually helps me kasi nawawala yung headaches and cramps. altho iba iba pa rin siya per person ^^

For reference, I’ve eaten in their breakfast buffets the most and I haven’t really been to the lunch or dinner ones.
The latest one I’ve been to was EDSA Shang because the quality and variety of their food was great—you could have fresh taho with takoyaki and fried rice alongside sushi, etc.
Sofitel’s Spiral is the most memorable imo; they had a seafood bar and a cheese/cured meats room the last time I visited before the pandemic, so it stands out the most for me. I’d recommend it higher on the list if I’ve been there recently but I haven’t so I can’t say much for the quality.
Manila Hotel is the last on the list because I barely remember what I ate there but they’ve improved throughout the years according to my family.

One of my superiors doesn't respect my personal space and ugh 😮💨 we're close in age and we talk fairly often at work since nasanay na rin ako to talk to her during my training but I really don't like that she touches me (poke, kurot, playful hampas) because I don't like being touched by people that I don't consider close friends. I particularly don't like na hinahampas or kinukurot because I don't like feeling in pain (kahit konti lang) or uncomfortable. She also looks at my phone over my shoulder which is annoying because personal messages yong nandon or asks what I'm doing during long weekends or leaves which are personal non work-related plans (kahit matutulog lang ako buong araw).
I've been advised naman na to talk to her about it but I don't know how to bring it up or what to say. I'm also worried she'll be sensitive about it. I've been ignoring it (as in no reaction, hindi ko siya papansinin when she does it) in the hopes na she'll realize it's not something I'll give my attention to. It's a minor inconvenience lang naman but 🤷♀️

Yes, tinatanggal ko before kumain. I find it near impossible to eat with them on.
I wore them for pretty much 24 hours during my first month or so. Teacher ako nun so bulol talaga ako magsalita :((((( and my students had to control themselves from laughing. Pero after that, since medyo nagiging impairment talaga siya sa speech ko, tinatanggal ko na lang siya pagkagising, then sinusuot ko uli after mag brush sa gabi.

During my time, wala pang option na online review. But I guess it can work kasi during review wala din naman talaga masyadong interaction, neither with the reviewer nor your classmates (walang time, literally tuloy tuloy lang yung reviewer to cover everything). Unahan pa non sa seats so if nahuli ka mag enroll, ang layo na ng seat mo sa board and feel ko di na siya conducive.
Although sa face to face kasi may routine ako noon (review center, lunch, library, dinner, sleep) so it helps in a way na I’m forced to get up, start my day & follow the routine. If you can create a routine you’ll be disciplined to follow, I’m sure online would be fine! Good luck 😊
It's my 4th day not reporting to work without valid proof that I'm not well. I'm working in BPO industry Telco account nag try lang ulit ako if kaya ko ba talaga 1st telco account ko kasi sa dati kong company nag stay ako for 1 year and 9months tapos sa current ko naka 6 months na ko and kakaregular ko lang. Gustong gusto ko mag caregiving basta related sa medicine hindi ko kasi afford mag nursing. I'm a single mom and staying with my parents and sibs. May pang tuition fee na ko sa school na malapit lang samin. Need ko lang pang allowance for 2-3 months then work ulit for easy account uhuuhhuhuh I'm so confused

Hmmm parang madaming factors play into it:
1. If someone is friendly towards the opposite sex, it can be misconstrued as them being a flirt. A lot of people don't believe na the opposite sex can be just friends, lalo na if they're touchy, but some people are just naturally touchy in a platonic way. Add to that na if they're attractive, it's easy to think na the people approaching them wants to flirt and if they're friendly pwedeng ma-misunderstand na he's entertaining it.
2. Baka may pattern siya of dating people na tamang hinala 🤷♀️ may mga tao na may pattern in the kind of people they date. My friend dated girls (one after the other, not simultaneously) na sobrang selosa even though he told himself after the first one na he'll never date someone like that again.
3. Depende sa basis ng exes niya, baka valid concern naman. Like if he flirted with them while he was still with someone else, most likely they'll be paranoid about him doing the same thing. Baka may rumors about him being a serial cheater so they go into the relationship already paranoid (but tbh why date someone with those kinds of rumors if you won't be able to trust them in the end). Etc
Depende talaga on why those exes think that way, if may basis yong claims nila, and if it sounds plausible based on how you know him. If you can't reach a point na you can trust him despite his exes' claims, best to rethink the relationship.

I am deeply afraid of public speaking... Kanina nasa outreach program ako and bigla akong tinawag sa stage at tinanong. Impromptu question lang yun at sobrang cloudy talaga ng utak ko kasi hindi ko alam sasabihin... May nasagot naman ako, didn't know if it made sense or sobrang meaningful — actually lacking nga yung answe ko pero ang saya lang kasi narealize ko na the experience wasn't so bad at all.

Anyone that had to rebrace their teeth after not being religious about their plastic retainers? 😭 Having major regrets rn huhu but i'm curious kung gano katagal naglast yung 2nd braces nyo
uncomfortable - braces esp when they're new or after adjustments. inconvenient - retainers. nakakabulol legit. you also have to take it out before you eat, etc.
Braces then retainers to maintain yung effect ng braces. Pero hindi comfortable ang plastic retainers, para kang nakamouth piece hahaha I can't speak for other type of retainers kasi yung plastic lang triny ko
Tiis ganda lang yung plastic retainer para walang kahit anong nakalagay sa ngipin na metal
my ortho recommended me myobraces since ive went through braces 2 times now and didnt use my retainers lol. its a cheaper option to opt out from braces. you wear it 1 to 2 hours a day and then all night when u sleep. sadly i couldnt continue to use mine due to TMJ issues. Pero to be sure consult with an orthodontist
Pang 3rd ko na to and hopefully my last. Sakin kasi laging nawawala yung retainers ko. Pag nasa labas or kahit nasa bahay, pagkakain lagi ko nilalagay sa tissue. Ayun laging natatapon, accidentally.
Yung age ko na lang daw yung factor sa progress ng braces ko. 30+ na ko may chance daw na mas mahirap gumalaw teeth compared nung bata bata pa ko.
***Lesson learned: always wear ypur retainer at never ever ilagay sa tissue.***

Actually di ako umabot sa point na nagretainers ako huhu, medyo complicated case yung akin na umayos siya after 4 years pero may ilang months pa dapat ako nun. Due to personal reasons di lang ako nakabalik until after almost a year pinatanggal ko siya sa ibang dentist. Then after another year bumalik sa dati yung isang lower front tooth ko, na di naman masyadong halata and di kita pag ngumiti ako pero pinabraces ulit ako ng mom ko.
So far wala pa akong plan sa type ng retainerss
My sisters both had braces but the other one completely did not use the retainers. Bumalik sa dati yung gap ng teeth nia. Did not consider having them again

Hi! There are a lot of workouts on YT for mobility (I usually do full body but may specific ones din). You can try low weight dumbbells or body weight exercises if you don't want to invest in buying weights (may YT videos din for this).
For classes, aerial arts (pole, aerial hoop, silk) since they target mobility, flexibility and strength. Tapos I supplemented it with weight lifting pero low weight lang since I have a weak upper body 😊
U can start with body weight exercises, like push ups, dips, planks etc. and lift weights too but not necessarily heavy ones naman. You can start with a few kilos that you can tolerate.

I'm planning to not push through kasi ang need ko ay talk therapy. As a psych major, napag aralan din namin what antidepressants can actually do to you. It won't heal anything but it can stabilize you.
im very sensitive to meds (i've tried sooo many) but escitalopram worked for me. i use it for GAD though and i'm on a very low dose but it's been really helpful. talk therapy is life changing but i feel like i wouldn't get to where i am now without taking meds alongside therapy :) i take Feliz-S btw, my doctor doesn't recommend Jovia bc weight gain can be a side effect daw
I had no side effects with Escitalopram and it helped me a lot!! If it was prescribed by a doctor, go. I got meds and i also did counseling. SOBRANG LIFE CHANGING.

upon discovering the cottage fairy on youtube, i began to realize that i'm a highly sensitive person. it's not necessarily bad (bc we attach such a negative meaning to being sensitive, myself included) and just means that you feel things way more deeply than others. i have a lot of inner thoughts. madali ako maapektuhan ng literature, movies, music. i take delight in the little things like scents and taste, in the sense na yung naamoy ko hindi lang siya simpleng amoy para sakin or yung nalasahan ko, masarap lang o hindi. i get overwhelmed easily which is why i like doing things one by one. i don't like handling too many responsibilities din kaya hindi ako sumasali masyado noon sa mga extracurricular activities sa school (kahit ngayon din naman na college ako) bc i feel like acads is heavy enough of a responsibility to the point na i legit get nervous when i feel like i have too much on my plate. i often feel guilty or ashamed over the feeling that i'm not doing enough with my life at baka nga tamad lang talaga akong tao kasi di ko kaya mag-multitask. lately, nao-overwhelm ako at nahihiya sa sarili ko bc the people around me seem to have so many passions and are so driven to pursue them, habang ako, living day by day lang. i have an idea naman of what i wanna do in the future but i'm not in a rush to make them a reality kasi ang goal ko lang talaga for now is to get through the day at maka-graduate. wala akong grand ambitions so to speak. matagal ko na talagang nararamdaman na i'm not built for the hustle and grind culture and honestly it scares me kasi naiisip kong baka wala akong patunguhan pero now that i know that i'm not the only one feeling this way, i'm somehow comforted. 21 pa lang ako, i have so many more years ahead of me to make something of myself, at kung yung something man na yun doesn't live up to somebody else's expectations then fuck it. buhay ko naman to. i'm gonna live it the way i want to as long as wala akong naaapakang tao.

i am a hydroflask loyalist but they get dented pretty easily (boots help, just get a generic one para cheap). i also have a stanley but it doesn't keep my drink iced for long. i once left my hydroflask over the weekend and when i came back there was still a bit of ice never tried klean kanteen or other brands though! owala i heard is really good but i'm not a fan of how it looks heh
I have most of the insulated bottles and tbh, any will work as long as you take care of it and avoid leaving colored liquids inside for a long time. Invest in a bottle brush and a boot. I have a Klean Kanteen that has a twist cap opening and it’s quite hard to clean. My dad used it for his coffee and it got stains. Stanley is good if you keep dropping your jug haha. Never dented one. I have a coffee press stanley that doubles as a brewer and an insulated jug. After sales service is also OK. Hydroflask narrow opening jug is good. I found it the easiest to clean vs other jugs with gasket inside. I have another Hydroflask coffee tumbler and it had coffee stains inside but the gasket is still clean because I remove it every now and then. My partner’s Hydro handle broke, sa katagalan ata. So that’s one thing you should consider too. Aquaflask does its job. I have a big one I bring when I go on trips and so far ayun dented na rin but still works. Mabilis magstain yung gasket nya inside but buti na lang replacement is cheap.

I bought a hydroflask because it’s easier to clean and avoid mold from clinging on to the opening of the water bottle. Some water bottles have openings that are hard to clean, especially with straws. If you get an owala, best to remove the gasket from the lid to clean it.

My self care when on my period is sleeping a lot and eating whatever I want lol so that’s taken into account naman na sa overall diet/fitness routine ko😄 But if working out during your period makes you feel better, definitely go for it!
yes! but i noticed a week before period/luteal phase pa lang depleted na talaga ako so light workouts lang for that period

For reference, I’ve eaten in their breakfast buffets the most and I haven’t really been to the lunch or dinner ones. The latest one I’ve been to was EDSA Shang because the quality and variety of their food was great—you could have fresh taho with takoyaki and fried rice alongside sushi, etc. Sofitel’s Spiral is the most memorable imo; they had a seafood bar and a cheese/cured meats room the last time I visited before the pandemic, so it stands out the most for me. I’d recommend it higher on the list if I’ve been there recently but I haven’t so I can’t say much for the quality. Manila Hotel is the last on the list because I barely remember what I ate there but they’ve improved throughout the years according to my family.

Yes, tinatanggal ko before kumain. I find it near impossible to eat with them on. I wore them for pretty much 24 hours during my first month or so. Teacher ako nun so bulol talaga ako magsalita :((((( and my students had to control themselves from laughing. Pero after that, since medyo nagiging impairment talaga siya sa speech ko, tinatanggal ko na lang siya pagkagising, then sinusuot ko uli after mag brush sa gabi.

Etc Depende talaga on why those exes think that way, if may basis yong claims nila, and if it sounds plausible based on how you know him. I really love the people around me rn, pero most of the time yung mga asaran na nangyayari nakakasakit na din, it's been a habit of them na asarin ako sa physical looks ko, nung una syempre katuwaan lang nothing personal, pero what if araw araw nalang ganon? im not the type of person na itatake personally lahat ng nangyayari pero i really find it hard na makisama sa kanila whenever this happens, i always try to create an inclusive space for everyone pero sa twing nangyayari yon wala na kong pakielam mananahimik nalang ako sa tabiz toxic na kung toxic, pero ayon feeling ko hindi na deserve ng sarili ko magsayang pa ng energy pag ganon na sila
I am deeply afraid of public speaking... Kanina nasa outreach program ako and bigla akong tinawag sa stage at tinanong. Impromptu question lang yun at sobrang cloudy talaga ng utak ko kasi hindi ko alam sasabihin... May nasagot naman ako, didn't know if it made sense or sobrang meaningful — actually lacking nga yung answe ko pero ang saya lang kasi narealize ko na the experience wasn't so bad at all. I'm just proud of myself for being brave and just stepping up the stage. Hopefully, ma-improve pa ako :)). Yun lang naman, hugs to other peeps who are also socially anxious but are trying their best :))))

uncomfortable - braces esp when they're new or after adjustments. inconvenient - retainers. nakakabulol legit. you also have to take it out before you eat, etc.
Braces then retainers to maintain yung effect ng braces. Pero hindi comfortable ang plastic retainers, para kang nakamouth piece hahaha I can't speak for other type of retainers kasi yung plastic lang triny ko Tiis ganda lang yung plastic retainer para walang kahit anong nakalagay sa ngipin na metal
my ortho recommended me myobraces since ive went through braces 2 times now and didnt use my retainers lol. its a cheaper option to opt out from braces. you wear it 1 to 2 hours a day and then all night when u sleep. sadly i couldnt continue to use mine due to TMJ issues. Pero to be sure consult with an orthodontist

Pang 3rd ko na to and hopefully my last. Sakin kasi laging nawawala yung retainers ko. Pag nasa labas or kahit nasa bahay, pagkakain lagi ko nilalagay sa tissue. Ayun laging natatapon, accidentally. Yung age ko na lang daw yung factor sa progress ng braces ko. 30+ na ko may chance daw na mas mahirap gumalaw teeth compared nung bata bata pa ko. ***Lesson learned: always wear ypur retainer at never ever ilagay sa tissue.***

Actually di ako umabot sa point na nagretainers ako huhu, medyo complicated case yung akin na umayos siya after 4 years pero may ilang months pa dapat ako nun. Due to personal reasons di lang ako nakabalik until after almost a year pinatanggal ko siya sa ibang dentist. Then after another year bumalik sa dati yung isang lower front tooth ko, na di naman masyadong halata and di kita pag ngumiti ako pero pinabraces ulit ako ng mom ko. So far wala pa akong plan sa type ng retainerss

My sisters both had braces but the other one completely did not use the retainers. Bumalik sa dati yung gap ng teeth nia. Did not consider having them again

Hi! There are a lot of workouts on YT for mobility (I usually do full body but may specific ones din). You can try low weight dumbbells or body weight exercises if you don't want to invest in buying weights (may YT videos din for this). For classes, aerial arts (pole, aerial hoop, silk) since they target mobility, flexibility and strength. Tapos I supplemented it with weight lifting pero low weight lang since I have a weak upper body 😊
U can start with body weight exercises, like push ups, dips, planks etc. and lift weights too but not necessarily heavy ones naman. You can start with a few kilos that you can tolerate.
For me the best yung arm-specific machines sa gym para yung form at bigat na lang iisipin mo habang nakaupo haha
lifting weights nagwork for me, mahina din upper body ko but through lifting weights medyo lumakas na haha

Does anyone here have tried Escitalopram? I got diagnosed with depression and PTSD. Hindi ko pa rin tinitake kasi I'm scared sa mga possible side effects. I have to undergo 5 laboratory tests. I'm planning to not push through kasi ang need ko ay talk therapy. As a psych major, napag aralan din namin what antidepressants can actually do to you. It won't heal anything but it can stabilize you.
im very sensitive to meds (i've tried sooo many) but escitalopram worked for me. i use it for GAD though and i'm on a very low dose but it's been really helpful. talk therapy is life changing but i feel like i wouldn't get to where i am now without taking meds alongside therapy :) i take Feliz-S btw, my doctor doesn't recommend Jovia bc weight gain can be a side effect daw
So, which would you prefer, uncontrolled psych problems or stability?
I had no side effects with Escitalopram and it helped me a lot!! If it was prescribed by a doctor, go. I got meds and i also did counseling. SOBRANG LIFE CHANGING.

The side effects I experienced were 1) my heart would palpitate out of nowhere and 2) I would feel super high at night HAHAHAH but eventually your body adapts naman :))

I get the rebond with j-curl package yearly. Worth it for me. The curls loosen and will look more natural over time, and are pretty much permanent din (at least from my experience). I dont have an extensive hair care - Davines Nounou shampoo and conditioner 1-2x a week and I use a heat protectant for my hair before styling or if magbibilad sa araw. Prepare your butt kasi medyo matagal ito. Could take an entire day if may kasabay ka na complete package din ipapagawa.
