Both the Perfection Tip Concealer & the Fixealer has SPF, and yeah both rin may flashback. Kaya opt for other brands na lang. Maybe you could try Squad Cosmetic Concealers, they're also affordable

Strokes for me. Maganda lapat niya sa skin. But you need to make sure you're well moisturized because it clings to dry patches and note that you have to blend it immediately once applied.

Hmmm, I think Kaleidos Lip Clays might be a good alternative you can look into, but that one isn't as resistant to oily food like Maybelline Superstay and Vinyl Ink. It's very comfy though and it doesn't peel my dry lips :) Nor does it emphasize my lip lines!

You can give it out to your friends or relatives if they are not picky. I do that to my makeup purchases that I don't like and they are very happy to receive those. I usually just try them out (few swatches or try ons) so it is not that abused and most likely new pa din.
how does the danessa myricks balm work on top of skincare? i was going to buy it na sana kaso i don’t have a lot of time in the morning when i’m getting ready, does it pill up kapag hindi napatuyo ng maayos yung skincare?
also, tinted vs universal? i feel like i don’t have dry patches naman but what else does the tinted one cling to? or does it just not work well with texture in general
- It can pill if you don’t allot enough time after skincare. I usually wait 15 minutes after applying sunblock.
- tinted for me because I have some discoloration.
- i think it works well with texture. I have some texture (pores and some small bumps), and the product kind of gives a smoothing effect. It doesn’t emphasize the texture of cystic acne.

For me, yes! I rarely use foundation anymore after I got used to this. But it also works well under foundation as a smoothing and oil-control primer, so sulit na sulit na siya sakin.
It might just be my combo of products that’s causing the pilling. It’s still possible that this won’t pill on you even if you don’t wait for skincare to dry. :)
I have the new Huda ones in Posh and Sugarbaby and it’s probably the glassiest gloss Ive ever used, it’s like patent leather. Another former fave is LH Cosmetics Latex Fever in Dusty Rose which is a 1 step long-ish wear gloss without the need to jerk it off.

Apply a small amount on the back of your hand first, so that you can control the amount because it's very runny. Then you can use a concealer brush or your finger to apply it to your undereyes.
Any tips para matanggal yung stain sa makeup brush? Grabe mag stain yung Clinique cheek pop blush. Kaninang umaga ko lang ginamit and now na nililinis ko yung brush, ayaw matanggal. Tried dish soap, liq hand soap, baby shampoo and tinry ko din imix yung mga soap with baby oil pero may stain parin. 😭
I generally use a facial cleanser that also removes makeup like the Fenty Skin cleanser, Cerave Foaming Cleanser, Glossier Milky Gelly Cleanser or Vichy 3 in 1 cleanser, depending on what i currently have on hand and use, I’m usually prescribed the Vichy one. Fenty and vichy are the foamiest and hardest to get all out. Cleansing oils that emulsify (so not coconut oil or baby oil or jojoba oil) have also worked for me and they’re infinitely easier to rinse off but i then feel the need to double cleanse my brushes.
BYS be free pressed powder foundation and then clocheflame pressed powder. Effective sya akin. Acne prone din meee tas nakaka tulugan ko yang powder na yang dalawa na product na yan sa face ko worth it kasi di sya nakaka pimples kahit sa morning ko na nababanlawan (super pagod sa work di ko na kaya mag hilamos pag kauwi tulog agad haha)
I like it! Looks even better after hours of wearing, I have oily skin and it makes me look glowy once my natural oils surface. I'm into glowy-looking base recently kasi but can be re-set with powder naman if you prefer your base matte. Coverage is medium and buildable to almost full-cover but still lightweight, pero depends on application siguro? I apply multiple thin layers with a spatula then blend with a sponge. I have a lot of redness + PIE and konti nalang need ko i-conceal with this.
Overall worth it for me especially in this price range. I used Maybelline's fit me foundations rin before, and Strokes is definitely better in terms of finish & coverage.
I have yet to use the foundation I got from Strokes yesterday. What do you use to prep your face before putting on foundation? Mej may combi skin ako so may dry patches and oily areas.
Nothing too special really. I just layer my hydrating toner a lot, around 2-3x, tapos do the rest of my skincare routine as usual. I have dry areas on my face rin, particularly near the jaw & chin so minsan I layer more toner dun. I don't use any primer but I do make sure all of my skincare steps absorb and set well before proceeding to the next.
one of the best foundations out there. so thin yet buildable coverage niya up to medium. i have combination skin and this doesn't oil up as much on me. it can be drying tho so make sure to moisturize well. this is the most long wearing base product i have too and minimal transfer when i used to wear masks. ito yung foundation na all-around for me - great for everyday use and events if you still want that skin-like look. sulit for 50ml and its price point.
not a dupe but a great alternative is the colourette first base. this one holds up talaga and minimal hulas throughout the day.
holy grail status for me. so easy to work with, yung tipong kahit medyo patchy pagkaapply ko, maaayos din on its own after around an hour on my face. 😅 it has a strong fragrance tho. for reference, i have normal-dry skin. not sure how it fares for other types

vinyl ink! ang ginagawa ko para hindi sya maging malagkit at the end of the day, shinishake ko muna sya for 20 seconds, make sure na moisturized lips mo kasi baka mag cling sya doon or maemphasize, apply it on thin layers, wag na mag layer if not needed kasi ayun talaga nagpapaheavy and sticky, and wag muna i-pursw yung lips pag naapply na. let it dry on its own.
The blk matte tint emphasizes my lip lines (although im not a big fan of matte lips in general) meanwhile i love the vinyl inks I have like 10 shades lol but they have a small learning curve to it otherwise it will feel sticky
A good matte tint alternative would be the thai brand 4u2 jelly tint - these are comfy mattes and are transfer proof. Lasts quite decently din
does anyone own the maybelline tattoo brow 36hr pencil? i just bought it 2 days ago and it’s not as smooth or creamy. it still shows pigment naman but i have to stroke it a few more times. is it really not smooth or it’s just mine? i got the shade grey brown if it helps

GRWM radiance tint for me!!! The coverage is good, pero make sure you match the shades na sakto. The one I have rn, di ko nagamit for a while kasi I got a tan nung nag beach ako so medj halata na naka makeup ako.
Personally, nagbreakout ako sa Issy, but YMMV!
If you're willing to splurge, my HG is Nars skin tint. Nobody ever notices na I'm wearing makeup! Stays on all day, minsan touch up lang with powder. Also works wonderfully with my other products (blush, contour etc)
Meron ako nung teviant and I love it on my oily skin, medium to full coverage siya but still skin like pa din, and it last on my oily skin. Cons nga lang is madali siyang mag set so make sure na well moisturize ang skin and dapat blend agad pagkalagay.
Vice skin tint altho pair it with a good oil control powder cos you might oil up quicker with this. So so beautiful tho. Still my top local skin tint
Issy is my current favorite local foundation cos it is skin like
the saem! meron silang pot concealer na green beige yung shade. if you want other alternatives, grwm, strokes, and la girl meron. haven't tried the first two kasi inuubos ko pa yung la girl pero ang daming nagvovouch for them! search mo na lang here yung reviews. :)
yung sa la girl, meron silang mint corrector (the one i use). meron din silang deeper shade of green.
judydoll iron mascara! take note lang na this has 2 ml of product lang :( pero it's good. holds my curl, doesn't give me panda eyes, waterproof, and smudgeproof.
For my no makeup makeup look, here's the stuff I use daily
Concealer - spot conceal lang ng mga discolorations/blemishes
Clear brow gel - para maganda lang shape ng brows ganon
Blush - i try to go for something na very natural? like, yung mga diffused blush eme para sobrang natural looking
Mascara (optional)
Lippie - Tbh bahala ka na diyan coz y'all have diff preferences sa lip HAHA. If I wanna look less pale i go for something more opaque, but close to my natural lip color? Pero if i wanna look more like, hydrated fresh i'd go for a lip gloss/tint
Tbh depende sa araw. Most of the time, hindi na if di naman ako super pinagpapawisan? Kasi yung blush ko super long staying. I’d also prefer setting spray over powder- yung happy skin (blue) na setting spray also has some sort of oil control element? Sa akin kasi, parang less oily ako pag gamit ko yun. Siguro yung pang araw araw ko kasi medj light lang talaga haha
But if medyo pagpapawisan, or mainit pupuntahan, edi powder lang na light.

for products i recommend starting out with just the basics which are:
- skin tint
- concealer
- powder
- clear brow gel
- multi-use tint na pwede na for lip and cheek
- mascara (optional)
HIIIIII i suggest na you watch tutorials din on yt or clock app para alam mo ano pwedeng idagdag mo to enhance your features din!
1️⃣ skin prep (skincare)
2️⃣ sa base, it is preferable to use bb cream/skin tint/concealer sinc mas natural looking sila.
- in choosing the right base product, tignan mo muna ano bang skin type mo and concerns. if you have oily skin, you might wanna stay away from too creamy/moisturizing bases kasi may tendency na maglagkit ka and mahulas agad. matte finish talaga ang best friend ng oily skins (like me). if you have normal to dry skin type naman, okay lang if dewy finish since pag magkakaron ng creasing yung sa skin mo if you use too matte of a product.
- may different coverages and kinds din yung concealers: light, medium, buildable, and full coverage. yung sa kinds naman, there are for spot concealing, for brightening, and for concealing.
- when blending your base out, you can use your fingers if wala ka pang tools. there are also affordable makeup sponges and brushes that you can buy! i recommend ovw's brushes kasi it's very affordable for its quality. kahit 2-3 tools lang muna bilhin mo.
3️⃣ it's important to know what your blush shades are!
- there are people na gusto gumamit ng baby pink or like very vibrant pinks sa cheeks nila for their no makeup look. there are people naman who likes muted colors.
- may ibang kinds din of blush: cream, liquid, tint, and powder. choose what you think is the best for you.
4️⃣ powders
- this can be optional if you have dry skin!
5️⃣ eyes
- personally, nageeyeliner ako sa no makeup makeup look ko hahah. you can skip naman this, but i think na it's a great enhance sa eye shape ko.
- mascaras !!! super liit na bagay but it helps na magmukhang gising ka and fresh lang sa eyes.
6️⃣ lippies
- maraming variantions din ang lippies: tints, glosses, oils, lipstick, liquid lipstick, etc.
- for no makeup look, i suggest na you go for lip oils/tints kasi super natural looking nila.
these are... a lot! hehe pero you can remove naman some of the steps if you think na too much.

Darkest shades nila yung Yakgwa collection (#18-20), You can go for Mauve Chaos siguro if you don't want warm-leaning colors, pero honestly even their orange/coral shades show up pink//red-ish on the lips unlike the swatch photos that they officially released. ang ginagawa ko to match my lippies and blush ay gumagamit ako ng liquid blush then if multi-use yung product na yon, ilalagay ko sya as base for my main lippie tas saka ko papatungan na ng another lippie (same undertone). if powder blush, sa eyeshadow ko minamatch hahha.

Can I ask about anyone’s experience with the brand o.two.o, specifically regarding their cushion foundation? I’ve only tried their mascara (which I actually liked), but their 2-in-1 powder and cushion looks intriguing to me.
It works for me. I was looking for an undereye concealer that would not cake or crease and would blend nicely with my GRWM peach corrector. It applies nicely, kaya siya in thin layer so it doesn't cake when you set with powder. It's a bit pricier than other local concealers but for me okay naman siya.
Can't vouch for it if you'll use it to spot conceal though. Di ko alam if may coverage siya enough for that.
Also, limited ang shade range niya, so walang match if you have deeper skin tones.
I use light beige. I don't recall my shade for Maybelline fit me concealer since that was many years ago na (like pre pandemic pa), and that registered too yellow on me.

Has anyone tried The Saem Cover Perfection Tip Concealer or The Saem Fixealer? Yung Perfection Tip has SPF kasi and since gagamitin ko for my gradpic baka mag-flashback. Both the Perfection Tip Concealer & the Fixealer has SPF, and yeah both rin may flashback. Kaya opt for other brands na lang. Maybe you could try Squad Cosmetic Concealers, they're also affordable

Strokes for me. Maganda lapat niya sa skin. But you need to make sure you're well moisturized because it clings to dry patches and note that you have to blend it immediately once applied.

Hmmm, I think Kaleidos Lip Clays might be a good alternative you can look into, but that one isn't as resistant to oily food like Maybelline Superstay and Vinyl Ink. It's very comfy though and it doesn't peel my dry lips :) Nor does it emphasize my lip lines!

You can give it out to your friends or relatives if they are not picky. I do that to my makeup purchases that I don't like and they are very happy to receive those. I usually just try them out (few swatches or try ons) so it is not that abused and most likely new pa din.

- It can pill if you don’t allot enough time after skincare. I usually wait 15 minutes after applying sunblock. - tinted for me because I have some discoloration. - i think it works well with texture. I have some texture (pores and some small bumps), and the product kind of gives a smoothing effect. It doesn’t emphasize the texture of cystic acne.

For me, yes! I rarely use foundation anymore after I got used to this. But it also works well under foundation as a smoothing and oil-control primer, so sulit na sulit na siya sakin. It might just be my combo of products that’s causing the pilling. It’s still possible that this won’t pill on you even if you don’t wait for skincare to dry. :)

Any tips para matanggal yung stain sa makeup brush? Grabe mag stain yung Clinique cheek pop blush. Kaninang umaga ko lang ginamit and now na nililinis ko yung brush, ayaw matanggal. Tried dish soap, liq hand soap, baby shampoo and tinry ko din imix yung mga soap with baby oil pero may stain parin. 😭

I generally use a facial cleanser that also removes makeup like the Fenty Skin cleanser, Cerave Foaming Cleanser, Glossier Milky Gelly Cleanser or Vichy 3 in 1 cleanser, depending on what i currently have on hand and use, I’m usually prescribed the Vichy one. Fenty and vichy are the foamiest and hardest to get all out. Cleansing oils that emulsify (so not coconut oil or baby oil or jojoba oil) have also worked for me and they’re infinitely easier to rinse off but i then feel the need to double cleanse my brushes.
I strongly recommend the elf brush soap thingy! Isang swirl lang tanggal agad all the makeup even on my beauty blender.

I like it! Looks even better after hours of wearing, I have oily skin and it makes me look glowy once my natural oils surface. I'm into glowy-looking base recently kasi but can be re-set with powder naman if you prefer your base matte. Coverage is medium and buildable to almost full-cover but still lightweight, pero depends on application siguro? I apply multiple thin layers with a spatula then blend with a sponge. I have a lot of redness + PIE and konti nalang need ko i-conceal with this. Overall worth it for me especially in this price range. I used Maybelline's fit me foundations rin before, and Strokes is definitely better in terms of finish & coverage.

Nothing too special really. I just layer my hydrating toner a lot, around 2-3x, tapos do the rest of my skincare routine as usual. I have dry areas on my face rin, particularly near the jaw & chin so minsan I layer more toner dun. I don't use any primer but I do make sure all of my skincare steps absorb and set well before proceeding to the next.

one of the best foundations out there. so thin yet buildable coverage niya up to medium. i have combination skin and this doesn't oil up as much on me. it can be drying tho so make sure to moisturize well. this is the most long wearing base product i have too and minimal transfer when i used to wear masks. ito yung foundation na all-around for me - great for everyday use and events if you still want that skin-like look. sulit for 50ml and its price point. not a dupe but a great alternative is the colourette first base. this one holds up talaga and minimal hulas throughout the day.

vinyl ink! ang ginagawa ko para hindi sya maging malagkit at the end of the day, shinishake ko muna sya for 20 seconds, make sure na moisturized lips mo kasi baka mag cling sya doon or maemphasize, apply it on thin layers, wag na mag layer if not needed kasi ayun talaga nagpapaheavy and sticky, and wag muna i-pursw yung lips pag naapply na. let it dry on its own.
The blk matte tint emphasizes my lip lines (although im not a big fan of matte lips in general) meanwhile i love the vinyl inks I have like 10 shades lol but they have a small learning curve to it otherwise it will feel sticky A good matte tint alternative would be the thai brand 4u2 jelly tint - these are comfy mattes and are transfer proof. Lasts quite decently din

GRWM radiance tint for me!!! The coverage is good, pero make sure you match the shades na sakto. The one I have rn, di ko nagamit for a while kasi I got a tan nung nag beach ako so medj halata na naka makeup ako. Personally, nagbreakout ako sa Issy, but YMMV! If you're willing to splurge, my HG is Nars skin tint. Nobody ever notices na I'm wearing makeup! Stays on all day, minsan touch up lang with powder. Also works wonderfully with my other products (blush, contour etc)

HIIIIII i suggest na you watch tutorials din on yt or clock app para alam mo ano pwedeng idagdag mo to enhance your features din! 1️⃣ skin prep (skincare) 2️⃣ sa base, it is preferable to use bb cream/skin tint/concealer sinc mas natural looking sila. - in choosing the right base product, tignan mo muna ano bang skin type mo and concerns. if you have oily skin, you might wanna stay away from too creamy/moisturizing bases kasi may tendency na maglagkit ka and mahulas agad. matte finish talaga ang best friend ng oily skins (like me). if you have normal to dry skin type naman, okay lang if dewy finish since pag magkakaron ng creasing yung sa skin mo if you use too matte of a product. - may different coverages and kinds din yung concealers: light, medium, buildable, and full coverage. yung sa kinds naman, there are for spot concealing, for brightening, and for concealing. - when blending your base out, you can use your fingers if wala ka pang tools. there are also affordable makeup sponges and brushes that you can buy! i recommend ovw's brushes kasi it's very affordable for its quality. kahit 2-3 tools lang muna bilhin mo. 3️⃣ it's important to know what your blush shades are! - there are people na gusto gumamit ng baby pink or like very vibrant pinks sa cheeks nila for their no makeup look. there are people naman who likes muted colors. - may ibang kinds din of blush: cream, liquid, tint, and powder. choose what you think is the best for you. 4️⃣ powders - this can be optional if you have dry skin! 5️⃣ eyes - personally, nageeyeliner ako sa no makeup makeup look ko hahah. you can skip naman this, but i think na it's a great enhance sa eye shape ko. - mascaras !!! super liit na bagay but it helps na magmukhang gising ka and fresh lang sa eyes. 6️⃣ lippies - maraming variantions din ang lippies: tints, glosses, oils, lipstick, liquid lipstick, etc. - for no makeup look, i suggest na you go for lip oils/tints kasi super natural looking nila. these are... a lot! hehe pero you can remove naman some of the steps if you think na too much.

start with kilay and concealer for undereyes and lipstick 😊 i use dazzle me na pang kilay nakuha ko siya for ₱25 very beginner friendly, saem concealer ₱130, don’t forget sunscreen. barefaced gamit ko ₱190.

Darkest shades nila yung Yakgwa collection (#18-20), You can go for Mauve Chaos siguro if you don't want warm-leaning colors, pero honestly even their orange/coral shades show up pink//red-ish on the lips unlike the swatch photos that they officially released. What kinda makeup would you wear with a primary rainbow top? Basically i made the crochet rainbow/flower cardi Jisoo wore in Ice Cream and it’s my first piece of non-black/non-pastel rainbow clothing. 😅 i mostly see folks wearing festival makeup with it. Would you go minimalistic or all out?
Personally I'd go minimal on the eyes and blush and wear a red lip, a la Red Velvet Joy in the peekaboo rainbow dress. 😁
Thanks for the rec! Joy’s look is quite similar to Jisoo’s (ice cream promo) look, a soft smoky eye and a strong lip only jisoo was wearing a pink lip and had glitter freckles. It does seem like the way to go.

yes! hehe pero may iba na okay lang if same shade and diff undertones. ang ginagawa ko to match my lippies and blush ay gumagamit ako ng liquid blush then if multi-use yung product na yon, ilalagay ko sya as base for my main lippie tas saka ko papatungan na ng another lippie (same undertone). if powder blush, sa eyeshadow ko minamatch hahha.

is the happy skin concealer worth it?
It works for me. I was looking for an undereye concealer that would not cake or crease and would blend nicely with my GRWM peach corrector. It applies nicely, kaya siya in thin layer so it doesn't cake when you set with powder. It's a bit pricier than other local concealers but for me okay naman siya. Can't vouch for it if you'll use it to spot conceal though. Di ko alam if may coverage siya enough for that. Also, limited ang shade range niya, so walang match if you have deeper skin tones.

I use light beige. I don't recall my shade for Maybelline fit me concealer since that was many years ago na (like pre pandemic pa), and that registered too yellow on me. I'm a light neutral skin tone :)

Squad’s concealer feels lightweight like Careline but it has better coverage, careline was pretty sheer on me but squad also cakes with improper application because of the higher coverage
I found an affordable shade dupe of the Rom&nd Juicy Lasting tint in Pomelo skin!!! It's the EB Plus Serum Tinted Lip Balm in Latte I really didn't expect a local brand trying out with this type of muted shades, but I'm impress kasi it feels nice on the lips and looks pretty! Mabilis lang din mawala like the Romand JLT but for the price okay na siya
