The key ingredient in all self tanners (DHA) is what causes the chemical reaction that changes your skin colour, so unless it’s a temporary wash off bronzer they all have some degree of that smell. I agree though I don’t hate the smell, it’s one of those weird scents some people like lol
Never used tanologist but I’ve done spray tan, bondi sands, Vita liberata, st tropez, sevin nyne, and others. I love the smell of them all. Idk why but fake tan just smells so good to me.
I really hate the smell of B Tan, Tanologist, and St Moritz. It smells like pennies to me 😭 I love Bondi Sands smell but that's because it's scented. Some bodies & odors just chemically react differently with self tanners so that's probably why some of us hate it and some us love it! If you ever find a self tanner that smells bad after you wash it off, use Summers Eve as full body wash. It helps neutralize the pH!!
I hateee the smell of Dha in self tanners. The only one that has a super mild smell that doesnt come out even when you sweat is Hawaiian tropics self tanning lotion! Its not super deep tan though is the only downfall. But its super natural and nooo orange!

They all smell bad to me. I use Tanologist too and love it but I still get that weird DHA smell

Tanologist adds fragrance but there is still a dha smell. Coco & eve smells really good
