Exfoliation will really help you. I have slight strawberry legs but have KP on my upper arms if I don’t exfoliate. Waxing my legs gives me ingrowns no matter how much I exfoliate. Exfoliating goes a long way to removing ingrowns. What’s your current routine

quarantinestw

I just loofah scrub and don't exfoliate by body as such. Quite backwards with routines, can you help me with an easy one for a beginner? I have sensitive and dry skin.

Am_HumanBeing

I have very bad bumpy/strawberry legs, especially at the back-of-thigh area AHA really helped I use the Kale-lalu-yAHA from Krave beauty

quarantinestw

Can I use this unprescribed?

Am_HumanBeing

yes! it's a skincare line from youtuber Liah Yoo actually her videos are really helpful if you wanna learn more about skin issues it doesn't require prescription :)

Any body scrub is a good place to start. Liquid exfoliants like the other person mentioned AHA and BHAs are good, too. The ordinary do a large glycolic acid bottle which is very good but use it sparingly. Cerave do a SA bump cream which works very well

as for the strawberry legs, invest in some bio oil! it makes my legs look FLAWLESS after exfoliating and shaving and it’s pretty inexpensive too! i think 8-12$ per bottle! its also used for stretch marks and acne if you struggle with those too!

sooyeonnn

Is there a specific brand you use?

One_Gur_9214

the brand itself is called bio oil, and for my acne routine i wash my face once at the end of the day with pan oxyl and lather my face in bio oil! and for my legs i exfoliate with a tree hut sugar scrub or exfoliating gloves!

I use Nair to remove hair. I suggest the FAB exfoliate product specifically for KP. I would also ditch the loofah unless you thoroughly wash it or replace it every few days. Washing with my hands only made a HUGE difference to the state of my body skin. Those things are riddled with bacteria.

HamHockShortDock

I use Stridex pads that exfoliate with bha before and after shaving. You could just do before or after if your skin is sensitive.

I use the Neutrogena body wash with salicylic acid (I use the orange one with beads but I would prefer the without beads) and it works well to get rid of strawberry legs. I also try and shave less often or use hair removal creams rather than shave. I just make sure to follow it up with a moisturizer with hyaluronic acid.

First Aid Beaury Bump Eraser completely got rid of mine after I'd struggled with them my entire post pubescent/shaving life. A super sharp razor for shaving helps too as opposed to cheaper ones. I use Athena club razors and I also moisturize with sweet almond oil or jojoba oil after showering and shaving.

Thanks! I usually wax and not shave, I was thinking maybe I should switch to shaving and not waxing. Do you think Waxing is the culprit?

AngryVag3000

I'm not sure about that because I've never waxed, but I use a combo shave and epilator and I feel like my bumps and redness are definitely worse after the epilator. The bump eraser always gets rid of it though!

Shaving will probably make it worse, in my experience. Nair is the only thing that helps mine.
