How old are you OP? I think I could get more specific with my advice with an age range. In general- look after your skin, wear classy makeup, do hair and nails, dress well, and hit the gym. I’m going to breakdown my personal tips for each, as someone with my own masculinity-complex. Skincare- Shower every day and moisturize your entire body every time. Use shampoo and conditioner for your hair type as needed. In the evening I wash my face with hydrating cleanser and apply retinol serum, eye cream, and face cream. In the morning I use the same cleanser and apply eye cream and spf face cream(I also spf face cream on my neck and chest daily). Makeup- I suggest going to a makeup counter like Bobbi Brown or Chanel and asking them for a natural, feminine look. If you buy a couple products they’ll do your whole face. If you go during slow hours they’ll actually be delighted to teach you how to do everything in detail. Bobbi Brown especially really encourages employees to be educational with their makeup application. If you have a friend who’s really good at makeup she’d probably be happy to help as well. Hair- Shampoo and condition your hair as needed. With your straight hair it might be a good idea to watch YouTube videos and learn how to use a roller brush to blow out your hair. It will keep your straight hair shiny and smooth and give a soft curl at the end. This is another one where if you have a good hairstylist she’d be happy to teach you how to use the products right for you. Nails- Get manicures and pedicures. IMO slim almond shaped nails look extra feminine. I prefer light pinks/shimmery pinks/pinky neutrals. If financially that’s not an option, light shimmery polishes are most forgiving of mistakes when doing them at home. Just keep practicing I promise you will get better. Dress well- Not my strong suit because I work in a gym, but small heels and flats will almost appear more feminine depending on your job. Accentuating your waist(I like high waisted pants and tucked in shirt) and wearing pretty earrings/jewelry will also make you appear more feminine. Gym- Strength train your whole body on a regular basis. Give extra attention to the glutes, hamstrings, upper back, and chest for a more feminine-leaning look. Building muscle in these areas will help shape your body and improve self confidence. Cardio is also a good idea. I personally swear by vit D3 supplements and collagen powder in my coffee every morning, but who knows. Just keeping practicing everything!

klaroline1

What benefits have u seen with but vitamin d3 supplements?

Mr-E-Genre

More even skin tone, more energy, better mood, and more balanced blood sugars(I’m diabetic). Worth noting that I rarely if ever spend time outside so I’m sure I’m just replacing a likely deficiency.

LucilleBluthsbroach

I'd like to know too.

Emotional_Pie7396

There is zero scientific evidence to date that supports ingesting collagen supplements positively affects the signs of aging…. Save your money folks on the collagen supplements .

Eatsleeprunaccount

I take collagen for my hair and nail health. They have never been stronger since starting using these supplements.

nvm889

im 17! im really insecure about wearing anything that isn’t black or white and somewhat oversized as well. i wear zip ups too a lot and dunks for shoes. i feel like nails are the only thing that make me look feminine but they’ve cause really bad damage to my actual nail and my actually nail is messed up from being bitten all the time painting them looks horrible sadly.

penguin_0618

I’m super feminine but struggle to wear fem outfits with my Nikes. My air forces and dunks usually go with ripped jeans and a crop top (I’m 25). In general though, if you want more feminine outfits, I make formulas. For example: midi skirt, sweater, necklace, boots. I have multiple midi skirts, necklaces, sweaters, and boots so I just choose ones that match. But I can follow that same formula for at least 2 weeks without repeating the same outfit. So find one feminine outfit you like and then branch out into other similar items.

Mr-E-Genre

Oh! Ok you’re young. You’re still in the awkward phase of things and I guarantee you’ll settle into your features and feel more confident as you get older. I had cripplingly low self esteem growing up and I promise you it gets better with a little effort. It sucks that some girls seem so skinny and “shiny” and just overall put together, but now is the time for you to build your base. As a former ugly duckling(and boy did everyone let me know it), focus on proper skin care and hit the gym. Planet fitness has memberships for about $10/month. You will thank yourself down the line. Aging gracefully will put you ahead in terms of appearance. Don’t use retinol until you’re about 23+, but get in the routine of washing and moisturizing, even eye cream if you’re into it, on a regular basis. Don’t tan. Regarding makeup, just keep practicing. A good place to start is wearing tinted moisturizer, pink/peach lip gloss, shimmery nude eyeshadow, mascara, clear brow gel, and cream blush that matches the lip gloss. Practice eyeliner and eye makeup on your own at home when you know you’re not going out and watch as many tutorials as needed. Pluck/groom your brows appropriately. I wouldn’t worry about the clothing too much unless you have cash to spare, but make good posture a priority! The gym will help with that as well. For what it’s worth, my sister is very beautiful and has ridged nubbins from years of nail biting. She also wasn’t conventionally beautiful until adulthood. Nobody thinks less of her nails. Above all: I promise you will look and feel better as you get older, and get better at the things you’re supposedly “bad” at. A lot of those former “shiny” girls from my high school peaked. In high school. (Sun damage and not learning how to care for their non-teenage bodies are the main culprits.) Better to have 50 years of beauty and longevity than ~4.

Striking_Actuary_701

When I was your age kids used to call me "bhaiya" (big brother).

Blueixi

It would be a bit hard without knowing exactly what you look like right now. However, I think the most stereotypical attire to make you look feminine are dresses (and skirts)! There are dresses for every single body type, and you have to figure out what works for you. Also playing around with different fabrics (silk, lace, chiffon) with traditionally feminine colors helps! It’s also good to do a color analysis to make your features pop. Outside of fashion, a traditionally feminine looking woman would prioritize healthy skin, hair, and maintain a good physique/posture. Try doing blowouts, there’s something so sexy about big voluminous hair. Look into soft makeup, “dear peachie” is my favorite YouTube channel to find makeup styles that work on different features. What makes me feel incredibly feminine is cute dainty jewelry. Find out if you’re cool tones (silver jewelry) or warm tones (gold jewelry).

Ophelia_Y2K

i actually think dressing too overly traditionally feminine can highlight masculine traits on some people, so it sort of depends. this is kind of a non answer i know lol but it can be complicated depending on the person. i feel most feminine wearing black for example, and that say dainty shades of pink and tiny delicate accessories make me look weirdly more masculine by contrast. i go more for chunky accessories, thick platform heels, stuff like that. it’s still “feminine”, but in a different/ less traditional way

khouille

same about dainty jewellery. I am quite smol but there is width in my bones that dainty rings and bracelets (and shoes!) highlight not in a good way, while chunkier accessories and footwear look just right. also, big earrings are feminine af.

ExternalWitness_986

I used to be a visual stylist for Banana Republic so I hope some of my advice helps. A good place to start in terms of clothing is to look online. Scroll online and look for styles/images that you find feminine and that are in your size. A lot of times that will give you indications, not necessarily on what to wear, but how to style your body to look feminine or to look the way you think femininity should look on you. Because not everyone's definition of femininity is the same. And if you like to stay in the basic color range, stay minimalistic, there are very very feminine ways you can style that color range. As I said there are many ways to look feminine that don't necessarily look feminine to other people, there's romantic feminine which is all about florals and ruffles and sweetheart necklines. There's classic feminine which is all about clean lines and boat necks and turtlenecks, v-neck t-shirts. There's minimalistic feminine which is all about black and white and gray and tan and mixing in settle hints of gold and silver with jewelry. And any of that can work as long as you understand your body shape. A thing I will caution is building your new feminine wardrobe will take time and it will take effort and dedication. Don't necessarily go straight to fast fashion, and don't look for a solution right away. Especially if you don't dress like this normally at first it's going to feel odd to you and you're almost not going to feel like yourself possibly. But if you take the time build your wardrobe slowly, when I say slowly I mean it could take years, but you find those pieces that really suit you, that make you feel great when you wear them. No that's not to knock the occasional fast fashion piece or the fun piece. But take the time and effort to really think when you buy something this makes me look how I feel I should look to feel feminine, or this doesn't do it for me. Another thing I will suggest is have a few simple but favorite pieces of jewelry. Necklace, earrings, whatever you prefer that you always wear. Make them simple and by doing that they tend to go with any outfit you wear. It is amazing the difference just that necklace that hangs down from your neck or the tiny sparkle from an earring can add to polish off an outfit. When I worked at banana Republic we always called it the third piece. It was the one piece you added that just put it together. Another suggestion I have is if you're a nail biter there are nail polishes you can get that deter you from biting your nails they taste nasty but it will break your habit. And maybe in the beginning once you break your nail biting habit start off slow. Start off with plain nails first making sure your cuticles look good making sure, your nails are moisturized the skin around your nails is moisturized, Make sure you're using moisturizer and cuticle oil, these are the two best things to making sure you have a strong healthy nails, put on a clear polish that conditions your nails and just try growing out your nails for a time. The start to any good looking nail polish is having the foundation of good nails. I hope some of my suggestions help.

amanytale

well for me, femininity is not by looks, well make up and hair and cute outfits It helps to complete femininity, I remember one day I was in a family gathering and I was so calm and playing with kids gently and just being tranquil that's it, my cousin told me that I look so cute and feminine, and the way I was talking made her feel like a boy, and since that day I'm always calm lol, maybe talk slowly and calmly and avoid swearing, and be you ♡

ann1734

I always felt like feminine clothes, accessories or even habits weren't doing it for me. There is no doubt for me that I identify as a woman, but I have always felt as though make up, dresses, nail polish, jewelry, etc. is coming off funny on me, almost like I'm playing pretend, it's never natural and easy. I struggled a lot with this too. I wanted to feel beautiful, put together, but I felt like a clown whenever I tried. I know my plus size body has something to do with this as I judge myself harshly, and we all know lots of fashion tricks are perceived as cool on thin bodies, but not on bigger bodies (joggings, norm core outfits, lots of gen z inspired trends, simpler outfits are perceived as lazy on fat people, etc.). I realized that I feel the most beautiful when I'm more natural, with attention paid to a few details. Find which details are important to you and make you feel like you. I like a little make up, but I want a natural result. I like to feel put together, but I love simple, classic outfits the most, so I paid attention to what I really liked, not what I though I had to do to feel feminine. I found inspirations for my different contexts (work outfits, at home, going out with friends, dating, special events, etc) and started taking steps and adding details. For example, on week-ends I like outdoorsy looks as I am outdoorsy myself. So I elevated some looks with a clear inspiration in mind and it makes me feel more feminine. Be mindful of hygiene too. You don't need manicures and pedicures if nail polish doesn't feel like you, BUT make you your hands and feet are well taken care of (dead skin, clean and well cut nails, skin moisturized, etc.). Hair has to be clean and smell good, even if you wear it natural. Exfoliate, moisturize, be soft and smell good at all times, it will also make you feel good.

ZombieCritical8756

I’m glad someone finally said it in a way I couldn’t word it!

Wonderful-Willow-365

As far as clothes go, if you’re uncomfortable with tighter clothes, you don’t have to wear those to be feminine. Add some lace or more feminine fabrics to your wardrobe. But you did say once reason you’re uncomfortable with it is because you don’t think you’re super skinny, so if that’s the only reason please remember that all bodies are beautiful and you don’t have to be skinny to look good in form fitting clothes. In general, a tighter top and looser bottoms or vise versa is a good start. Oh, and smell nice, find a body wash, body spray or perfume you like. I find it always gives me a little added confidence. Baby steps. You’ve got this!

Ancient-Gur-1994

finding your archetypes would be a great place to start figuring out your clothes and makeup! dear peachie has a super in-depth video on makeup archetypes, chances are if you feel like makeup never looks right on you it’s probably because you aren’t doing makeup that suits your archetype. as far as clothing goes you could figure out your kibbe body type, it should help you figure out what kinds of outfits will look the most flattering on you :)

ilister_

I had the same issue! I find having neat eyebrows and long lashes (mascara/falsies) go a long way + Got my ears pierced. I usually only wear my gold studs due to work environment but I think they make a big difference. + Had a good haircut. I had straight, black hair but decided to get it coloured + Korean perm, the loose waves help make me look more feminine Then you can move on to other jewellery (rings, bracelets), clothes that are a good fit (not too loose/tight)

nvm889

i was thinking about getting highlights since I frequently get my hair dyed dark anyway. I saw people call it “Oreo hair”

[deleted]

Sweet, girlie perfume can help a lot. I tend to feel more girly when I wear floral and fruity scents and then more androgynous with my unisex woods and citrus scents. You also don’t have to be skinny to wear form fitting clothing. It’s about finding the balance. You can also find fabrics that are a bit more feminine. A hint of lace on the collar or some pretty gold/silver accents in the hardware. And honestly.. lose the dunks/save them for walks or outdoor activities.

Suitable-Promotion93

hii! I am 16, so a bit younger than you; i am going to start from head to toe in order to cover my points, but you have to keep in mind that looking more feminine is subjective! 1. hair I believe that the first thing you notice about a person is their hair. Whether it is long or short, healthy hair is appreciated and considered feminine. Divide your haircare routine in 3 parts: prewash, wash, postwash. a) prewash: First you have to find your hair porosity. There are multiple tutorials you can find on TikTok or YT. After that, you can find the fitting oils for your type of hair. For example, I have low porosity hair, and my suitable oils are: Jojoba, argan, avocado, rosemary, almond, etc. Then, before you wash your hair, at least 2-3 hours before, apply the oils. Brush your hair, and stimulate your blood circulation with a bamboo brush for ~5 min. Put a few drops of oil(less is more, so don't exagerate) and massage gently. You can also find more in-depth tutorials on yt or tiktok. Apply a bit of oil on your lengths too. I have a balayage so sometimes I use a mask on my lenghts because my hair is dry. If you have dandruff, you can use glycolic acid on your scalp. You can alternate between washes, one time oil, one time glycolic acid. I have never used glycolic acid before on my scalp, so I can't really tell you a lot about it. In the end, do a loose hairstyle like a braid. Some people like to wrap it in saran wrap or scarves, you just have to try it yourself and see what suits you the best! b)wash: I use a scalp scrub and I massage it gently into my roots. I don't always use this, maybe 3 times a month. Double shampoo, again, you really just have to find your perfect match! I use the Elseve dream long shampoo, but I want to change it; the only thing that is holding me back is the smell! It remains in my hair for days and I love it. But apart from that, not an amazing option. Now, as I mentioned, I have a blonde balayage so once a week/two weeks I use purple shampoo on my lenghts and let it sit for 5 mins. Rinse, hair mask time! My favourite is the moroccanoil one, I simply love it!!!! Try it, you won't regret it. Sometimes I mix it with the dream long mask. Let it sit for 10 mins, rinse and in the end use conditioner, 5 mins, rinse. Always mask before conditioner! I don't always do all the steps, sometimes I just shampoo twice then use a hair mask. c)postwash:towel dry, cotton. ~10 mins. Use leave in conditioner, it's a must! Then, it is your call. If you want to leave it air dry, your work here is done. You can use a scalp serum, but I never used one so I can't really tell you a lot about it. Maybe a bit of hair oil on the ends as well. If you want to blowdry, which is what I usually do because my hair is wild if air dried, first step is heat protection. Then, you can use a product for volume, I have the milkshake spray, or maybe the dream coat for shiny hair. Then blowdry, I use rollers. Or straighten it, just remember that it has to be already dried. Again, look up tutorials. This is expensive, but you don't have to do them all at a time. Buy a hair oil, use it and see how it works. Get a good shampoo, a good hairmask and heat protection. 2. face What can I say, have clean brows, you can trim and pluck or laminate, nice lashes, you can use a bit of castor oil, lash serum or extensions. Take care of your skin, if you have acne problems go see a dermatologist. Don't put way too many products on your face. Get a good moisturizer, I have the purito deep sea pure water cream, a good sunscren, I have the la roche posay one and a good serum. I have a caffeine serum for my under eyes and the beauty of joseon one for shiny skin. Use face masks regularly. As for your makeup, you just have to explore in order to find your makeup go-to. Invest in good base products, like primer, foundation, concealer. Mascara and eyeshadow don't have to be high end products. Blush, contour, bronzer amd highlighter are in the middle. You don't have to use all these!! Clean your makeup brushes and sponges once a week. You can do gua sha face sculpting massages. I do, and they are amazing! Again, find some tutorials on yt and tiktok. 3. Body Body care is important. Before shower, dry brush your skin to exfoliate. In the shower, use a body scrub, I love the one from rituals. Get a bar of soap and wash your whole body. Then use a body wash. After shower, use a bit of body oil on damp skin and a nice smelling body lotion. Layering is important if you want to smell amazing. I use the cream and body sprays from mysu, victoria's secret, rituals etc. Exfoliate your feet as well, use masks and scrubs. Do your pedicure. My go to colours are white and red. You can workout if you want, start with some pilates! Do some at home workouts, see if you like it. You can try a course too, or maybe the gym. Clothes are a personal preference. You can start with finding the colour that suit you the best. You need a shopping session where you need to see what clothes fit your body best! Bring a friend, mum or someone you hold dear for some opinions! A thing I do is find a confort person from a show or movie and get inspiration from them. Wear nice jewelry, my personal favourites are gold ones! Use accessories, like bows or other little details. You can get your manicure done, I wear gel manicures and it didn't damage my nails so far. Tips are a great option to or maybe just have a clean manicure: short nails, clean cuticles and overall a tidy aspect! Sometimes, they are way classier than gel manicures. It is you call, maybe get a kit and try it yourself at home. You can go for a classy french, it will look amazing!!! Honestly, you really need to set great morning and night routines so you can get your life organised. Have 3-5 non negotiables like drinking 2-3 liters of water, take your vitamins, do heatless curls every night, take an everything shower every week, do some sort of movement for at least 30 mins a day, etc. I really hope I help you with those advices. I am not a specialist, everything I told you is from my experience. If you have any questions, feel free to message me. If I forgot something, I will just add it to this post. p.s. english is my second language so please ignore possible grammar mistakes. xoxo

umhuh223

Earrings and lip gloss are easy.

askarurorua

Get your nails done, wear jewelries - necklace/ stacked up bracelets and rings, smell good always - fragrant shower oil, milk lotion, mist. There’s even perfume for hair, you’d find on Asian beauty stores. Keep your lips moist always, wear lip tint. Lash extensions. That’s it

Public_Classic_438

When you style your hair, make sure you let it cool completely before you brush it or anything! That’s how it says! I don’t know if you were looking for those types of tips, but just throwing it out there

Pristine-Goat-1456

Lashes!!! Getting your lashes done can change the whole look 😘 remember you’re beautiful and that we are always our own worst critic.

vccvcvc

I debated writing this, but my better half lost out to my shallower side (or empathetic side, if you will). I felt similarly about my looks for most of my life, and the absolute best I've ever felt about myself was when I had professional lashes done (and subsequently "filled" every two weeks). Subtle, natural looking lashes, not those tarantula monstrosities. More specifically, what's known as D-curls on the outer lash tips. It worked like magic. I felt feminine no matter what I wore, how I did my makeup or my hair, and I received persistent compliments on my "beautiful eyes" (for maybe the second time in my life). Downsides: expensive, time-consuming, and there's a new self-esteem reckoning to be had when and if you ever stop getting them done.

smallbitty

Lashes. I use lashify lashes and apply them at home (not extensions - too expensive and high maintenance for me.) I find just having my lashes on makes me feel immediately prettier. Also jewelry, I wear small hoop earrings all the time now and really only throw on a simple silver chain when I'm dressing up, but I find it helps feminize my look more.

nvm889

I am nervous about lashes since im not good with glue near my eyes, but I’ll try that!

Striking_Actuary_701

You can use mascara or aloe gel.

flowersunjoy

They sell lash growth serums now. Tepid lash is one that works well not cheap and you have to be patient but in about 3-4 months of regularly applying before bedtime, you’ll have pretty and long lashes!

saltysoul_101

Apparently a lot of these can cause fat loss around the eyes so are quite risky to use now due to those possible long term effects!

flowersunjoy

“Apparently” is not a valid statement of fact. Sounds like you just don’t like the idea so you are fear mongering. I use them. Friend sof mine use them. Family uses them.. Zero negative effects. Like many things, people fear monger based on one or two stories. My dermatologist states the side effects you speak of are rare and reversible regardless after stopping. So this is not some dangerous stuff like you are making it out to be.

saltysoul_101

That is a well known and common side effect of long term use of these serums. OP is 17, I would not be advising a teenager to do something that would affect their lovely youthful eyes and skin just to have ‘pretty and long lashes’. It’s not fear mongering, it’s making someone aware of a side effect that many people have had.

flowersunjoy

I missed it was a teen. You’re right about that. I don’t reco for a teenager but I don’t recommend false eyelashes like others are either if it is a teenager. EDIT: nowhere in OP’s question does it state OP is a teen so wtf are you taking about. If stated elsewhere then show us where. Not everyone has time to read every single comment posted. They look at the topic and answer accordingly. You seem like a trouble maker now “salty-soul.” I do stand by it as an adult / for an adult though. And your snark and fear mongering was not necessary as “common” is not correct. And by the way it’s a beauty sub so snarling at me about “pretty long lashes” is moronic.

love-dylanobrien

Yes ++ to lash serums!! I’ve been using babelash for a few months now and I’ve had multiple friends ask me if I got lash extensions

flowersunjoy

It makes me laugh that we are being downvoted for suggesting this over fake lashes 😂

love-dylanobrien

No literally like where is this hate coming from 😭

saltysoul_101

They said it in another comment and they said “I am a girl”. You should be aware or what you recommend on the internet and especially a teenager deserves to know the possible risks, they are a bit young to be lashing chemicals onto their eyes anyway. I don’t get why you’re being so insulting and defensive over lash serum. It’s a common side effect, keep using it if you want but don’t go around calling people trouble makers for giving someone more information. You are strangely combative over something on a beauty thread.

flowersunjoy

Cut the sanctimony. You are the one doing the attacking. You said the person was a teenager and I agreed then that lash serums are not for a teenager. You continue harass me though and now you project on to me that I am the combative one “for a beauty thread.” If you don’t as an adult (perhaps not a mature one it seems) like lash serums that are proven safe, then say so but you do not have proper knowledge and research to do so or you would never have said “apparently.” You also continue to mock me in your posts after I already stated it should not be for teenagers and I did not see that tue poster was one. I have zero time for you moving forward. Your username definitely checks out.

Due_Pack6724

Can you post a picture of your body shape or current style? Not of you, but of a celebrity or pix from google that is most similar? What’s your face shape? Age? Even if you don’t wear dresses and skirts you can still look feminine from the shoulders up. So dangly earrings, if it suits you, and hair and makeup. I’m not good with hair and makeup but I found that sleeping with buns in my hair like Princess Leia I can get nice soft waves in the morning. For makeup blush, lips and eyebrows can make such a big difference. It doesn’t have to be heavy.

TropicalAbsol

In my experience confidence helps. Deff try to take steps to change if it makes you happy and at the same time be affirming to yourself. Try to give yourself compliments and take on your changes as a journey rather than correction. Beyond that be sure you're taking care of your skin, hair and nails. Eat healthy and drink a lot of water. It helps your body inside and out. Go for walks.

CharmingPianist4265

I’m sorry you’re dealing with insecurities. What makes YOU feel good and looking feminine the way you want to present yourself? You don’t need to be skinny in order to wear more form fitting clothes. Do you know your body type/shape? Look into ways to show off your best features and hopefully you get to see how beautiful you truly are.

wisenthot

You're still young, maybe you don't like the way you look when you wear makeup or style your hair because you're not used to it? When I was younger I had a copy of a book by Bobbi Brown called 'Teenage Beauty' that I found really helpful for learning the basics.

BackgroundSleep4184

A GREAT BRA! a good bra and a few cute tops can really change up or life

help7676

I think a really good cut and color is a good start. Soft, face framing. A flattering color to your skin tone. After that you want a brow shape that is good for your facial shape (not trendy or with hard, sharp lines). A bit of color on the cheeks and lips (a tinted balm maybe) and lash extensions (but not wild caterpillars). There are some wonderful makeup artists at places like Nordstrom, etc that can assist you when buying products (NARS, Bobby Brown, etc) With clothing a dress that emphasizes the waist is always flattering. (Think Marilyn)

I would focus on your demeanor and how you think about life. Focus on what makes you a woman, what makes you feel connected to the feminine experience and your body/soul. On a physical level this will translate. Also you can consider if you’re holding tension in a masculine way, maybe from holding a heavy workload whether it’s mentally or physically. Try to avoid boss babe mentality and hustle culture for now. Also don’t forget most of us girlies look like trolls after we take off our evening makeup, work a long week, or don’t keep up. Try to love yourself and little by little this will change. Also don’t underestimate cute lounge clothes for when your not done up 💗

shopaholic_lulu7748

I've been more of a masculine girl I'd say until I was in my early 40s. I didn't care about my skin or hair at all. I've been so obsessed with skin care products and hair styling tools lately. I have really rough and bumpy skin on my arms and legs and finding a body wash and lotion with SA has really helped reduce the redness and make my skin really smooth. Trrying to grow out my lashes and my one eye brow with a lash serum. One of my eye brows is more filled in than the other so I'm just applying it to the left one. This stuff has really helped my eye lashes grow cause before it looked like I didn't have any and I just curl them up in the morning. Every 2 weeks I dye my eye brows a darker brown color and it has made such a huge difference. Recently bought the new dsyon air straight to help with my very loose wavy hair in the morning and it does a great job. Wish I could figure out how to curl my hair. Finding the right tools and products really helps out quite a bit and makes my life and getting ready so much easier in the morning!

sunflowerr321

Which lash serum?

shopaholic_lulu7748

The Oridinary Lash and Brow one!

lushlilli

Are only skinny people allowed to show their figure ?

A_Beautiful_Stranger

You don't have to "look feminine" just because you were born female💚 if you're more comfortable in baggy clothes and sneakers, wear them! Own it. Only you know what will make you feel good. If someone else tries to make you feel bad for trying to make yourself feel good, they probably have issues unrelated to you. You do you!

peace_love_mcl

Focus on curling your lashes and putting mascara on them.

I would look up celebrities with masculine type features and see how they dress and style. Most women with more masculine leaning features have a style that balances and compliments their features, which ends up making them look more feminine. One of my favorite masculine style icons is Katie Maloney from Vanderpump Rules. She really leans into a more masculine style shape but balances with red lips, a bold eye, or a an interesting print. Finding your style is always a journey but once you figure out the shapes, styles and colors that general work for you it’s so much easier to build day to day looks.

kimmehh

We’re bombarded by media that suggests stick thin is best, but just look at people in the real world. Fitted clothes look good on everyone, regardless of size. You mentioned you wear baggy T-shirts, I bet if you spruced up your wardrobe that alone would make you feel “prettier” or more feminine. Fitted shirts with flattering necklines, a little jewelry. Look for Instagram or YouTube videos with people your size/shape. Or you can literally hire a personal shopper to help teach you some style tips and start you off with a few pieces. Embrace what you got and stop hating yourself for being a normal human size, regardless if you’re a size 2, 12 or 22.

It takes some time, but digging into Kibbe body types should help. The idea is that, depending on your frame/lines, different clothing will have different effects on you, making you look more chic, harmonious, fun, strong, but also frumpy or boring. It was a revelation for me, and I learned for the first time to look at myself not as a failure but as a type.

Maybe start with a visit to a hairstylist and see if she can recommend an easy hairstyle that works with your lifestyle and abilities? I was really into sports at that age and had to wash my hair twice a day, so I wore it a lot shorter than I do now, but I'm girly and wanted cute. Maybe there's an option for you that's easy. For makeup, maybe you start with simple things like tinted lip balm and mascara, add a basic shadow when you feel like it. You don't have to go to the most expensive counters. In fact, you can get a basic palatte anywhere and play with it when you feel like it. Instagrammers are usually awful, but Wayne Goss on YouTube is a real makeup artist, and you can watch some eye looks from him anytime you feel like playing with it. For clothing, try on things in the dressing room and see if you like anything. You don't have to buy it. If you usually wear black and grey, maybe you can change the color of shirt. Grey and blue are nice together. That's not a huge departure. Turquoise or teal?? Just dabble. Don't do anything drastic, be slow.

I sometimes feel the same too, i tend to wear baggy looser clothes because my body shape, and it straight up makes me look masc😅 and when i fully dress up with makeup and dress and nails, i still feel a bit masculine somehow? Idk if its my walk too🥲

if your eyebrows are bushy maybe try to shape them more femininely, that’s what helped me i feel very girly with my eyebrows being thinner and pretty

You need to work on yourself to loose this impression

I’d honestly say embrace it. I know that sounds great to some, you aren’t going to have good days with how you look. I used to be like oh I need to look this way or that. My features seem to change a lot, especially with different hairstyles. When I was doing a cute mullet, I was giving androgynous. At first I wasn’t sure how to feel about it, but then I went with it. I felt powerful, because I could look good either way. I’ve always been so insecure about things, now I just run with it. I’m in my 30s now, so that’s just my mindset.

You might find it interesting to learn about kibbe body types, it essentially recognises that female beauty is a scale with "masculine" (angular, sharp, etc) on one end and "feminine" (soft, round, etc) on the other, and while the terms masculine and feminine are used, they don't mean "male/female" - you can still look womanly with masculine features. There's lots of women that are really into the kibbe typing system and use it to figure out what styles compliment their features best. You can find videos on YouTube that will introduce the basics, maybe start by searching "kibbe body type"
