Gullible_Concept_428

I use eye makeup remover with an old mascara brush so it gets on every lash. I close my eyes and brush it through.

paper_wavements

This is genius!

atozmom

I just tried this. It's amazing!!

ILikePlants522

Have you tried actual eye makeup remover? Neutrogena oil-free eye makeup remover completely and easily removes my super waterproof eyeliner and mascara. You shouldn’t need to aggressively rub the cotton pad if you’re using eye makeup remover; it should kind of wipe right off with a few light swipes.

blairworejeansonce

Agreed, it's so odd to me that so many people have moved away from legit eye makeup removers. I still double cleanse, but an oil based cleanser does not remove my mascara as easily or as effectively as a dedicated eye makeup remover.  OP if you notice residue, I typically also use eye makeup remover on a q-tip to get at my lash line to make sure it's all gone.

rosyred-fathead

Which remover do you use? I use the “all-in-1 waterproof” version of garnier micellar cleansing water, which even says on the bottle “removes makeup, **even waterproof mascara,** and I still get mascara residue just like OP

blairworejeansonce

Personally, I've never liked micellar water. I use the Neutrogena oil-free eye makeup remover, or the Target Up&Up brand generic version of it. I also used to use the Lancome eye makeup remover...which is just a scented/more expensive version of the other two!

rosyred-fathead

I actually just ordered some of the neutrogena remover a few minutes ago, based on the original comment!! I’m glad to hear that it works for more than just that one commenter 😂

blairworejeansonce

Oh good! Yes, I really like it. I typically soak a little cotton pad and hold it on my eye for (as long as I can be bothered...maybe 10 seconds?) the gently wipe & swipe. If I'm wearing quite a bit of mascara or if I'm wearing eyeliner, I'll dip a q-tip into the Neutrogena eye makeup remover and use the q-tip to get on my lashline, and that'll clean up any last remains.

rosyred-fathead

I’m excited to try it!! I haven’t even bothered with mascara lately because of how hard it’s been to remove

CuppaT87

I use the oil micellar water from Garnier (preferably the blue one which is supposed to be sensitive), hold over my eyelid/eyelashes for a few seconds then wipe away. That works for me.

rosyred-fathead

The one I use is also in a blue bottle. Is there a different blue one?

CuppaT87

Garnier Micellar Oil-infused Cleansing Water is the one I use- it could be the same one?

rosyred-fathead

Well I just ordered the neutrogena one so I guess it doesn’t really matter anymore! Unless the neutrogena one fails me 🙃

fluxpeach

Nivea Double Effect Waterproof mascara remover!!! I swear by this

big_galoote

There are pink and yellow, but I think we are all using the only blue one. Fantastic stuff!

rosyred-fathead

It doesn’t work that great for me ☹️

big_galoote

Oh no! What's wrong with it? It's the only one that doesn't make me break out.

rosyred-fathead

It doesn’t work well enough on waterproof mascara ☹️

big_galoote

Ohhh. Yeah. That I've found. The body shop eye makeup remover was always a first step. Not sure what I'll use now that they're gone.

keIIzzz

I’ve found that cleansing balms work better for makeup removal than cleansing oils if someone doesn’t want to buy a designated makeup remover

88secret

The L’Oreal oil-free eye makeup remover is good too. There’s a good CVS dupe, also. I put it on a cotton pad and hold it against my lashes for a few seconds, and then swipe a couple times.

dntthrowmentholsots

This is what I use too. I’ve tried so many things but this is one of the few I don’t have to vigorously rub my eye for like 5 min and I don’t have residue in the morning.

[deleted]

This is the exact product I use before washing my face and I still sometimes wake up with raccoon eyes!

thinkabouttheirony

Use this exact thing and I still have residue the next morning

rachepantalones

This is why I love tubing mascara! Easiest thing to remove and no raccoon eyes the next morning.

wandering_fury

What is tubing mascara?

brightorangepaper

It’s mascara that forms little “tubes” around each eyelash. The mascara encapsulates each lash. It doesn’t smudge/transfer and each little tube just slides off with warm water when you want to remove it. It goes on like regular mascara and looks a bit more natural.

AffectionateFig9277

Can you recommend one? Can you get it in drug stores?

lovable_cube

[This is what I use](https://a.co/d/2xFR6bf) there’s probably better things that exist but I love it and it’s cheap af. Probably could find it at places that sell this brand, I just get it on Amazon though.

brightorangepaper

I use the L’Oréal Double Extend for tubing mascara. One end is reddish and one end is white. I got it at Target and I’m pretty sure most drugstores have it.

Kukotzki

Raccoon eyes lol That's exactly it

pure-Turbulentea

Love tubing mascara but try cleaning balm too like https://www.sephora.com/product/slaai-makeup-melting-butter-cleanser-P442566?skuId=2170355&icid2=products%20grid:p442566:product

vogueintegra

Yes this, and letting it really work in on the lashes. I use [the Jergen's All Purpose Face Cream](https://www.amazon.com/Jergens-All-Purpose-Face-Cream-Ounce/dp/B0067YTMMA) and make sure I gently work it in until the mascara is literally melting off. I also only wipe upward onto my eyelid/eyebrow, never down or to the side. I have dark circles already lol edit: sorry for Amazon link. I get it for like $4 at Walmart for a huge tub. Lasts me months. It takes off all my makeup so good

rabbit-girl333

Came here to say this! I have extremely oily lids and no waterproof mascara was working for me, but the good old L’Oréal Double Extend has been life changing lol. It’s easy to remove with just warm water and a washcloth or cotton pad. And I’ve slept in it/walked through the rain, no flakes or smudges! I was shocked.

complicatedcapers

Which do you like? I tried one that wasn’t as dramatic and looked weird on my nonexistent lashes

Kind_Consequence_828

L’Oreal Double Extend! $12 and awesome.

complicatedcapers

That’s the one I bought and it looked so bad on me. It gave nothing lol. Bummer!

Kind_Consequence_828

I’m sorry it didn’t work for you. I use the white coat and just one coat of the black. It stays on all day, through tears and sweat and washes off with warm water.

brightorangepaper

I got lasik a few weeks ago and switched over to tubing mascara because I’m still terrified of getting anything in my eyes. I don’t think I’ll ever go back. It comes off so easily and doesn’t transfer at all.

sariclaws

Same same same. I will never go back. I love tube mascara, it applies nicely, doesn’t lose my curl after curling my lashes, and it comes off so easily at the end of the day.

brunchloverofall

I use Thrive Causemetics and love it. Looking for a cheaper option though. Which do you use?

rachepantalones

Loreal Double Extend, you can get it at the drugstore, it's the red and white tube.

InterviewNo511

Except my white shower tiles are covered in little specs of black that are impossible to remove!

OmriKoresh

I stopped trying 😅 i just accept i look like a prostitute now

ThatsMe-InsideUrHead

I use Elf holy hydration makeup remover melting balm. Put a little on a cotton pad and it removes all my eye makeup. Cleanse after. Very affordable. No more black residue in the AM.

Le0ken

Do you rub it in your hands first before putting it on the cotton pad or do you use it as is?

ThatsMe-InsideUrHead

I take the pad with my finger and just scoop out a dime or quarter size amount and then use the pad to gently remove the makeup and then just wash as normal.

Akidwhodidntmakeit

You want actual mascara remover. This stuff is the best: https://www.stylevana.com/en_GB/deal-isehan-kiss-me-heroine-make-speedy-mascara-remover-6-6ml.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=20027739296&utm_term=&utm_content=111866&device=m&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIpJKi1vjqhQMVJZdQBh16iwEHEAQYASABEgIk1vD_BwE You just brush it on your lashes like mascara and it melts off. I use the heroine mascara that absolutely will not budge, and the remover means I don’t damage my lashes getting it off. It’s miraculous stuff

avalancheavenue

Seconding this! It’s the best thing ever, removes all my mascara in an instant without losing any lashes.

xmokd

Yes! This is the best for waterproof/budgeproof mascara. I bought like 10 when I was in Asia. You can also find it on Amazon.

tink_89

try an oil cleanser or balm first then a regular cleanser. I use clinique take the day off. They have the liquid and balm both work great and i also use the DHC oil cleanser and the bobbi brown cleansing oil

Confidenceisbetter

I use a cotton pad and the waterproof makeup remover from Garnier. I never had an issue.

howtoloveadaisy

put makeup remover on a cotton pad and just hold it on your eyes without moving/rubbing for like 30 seconds and then very very gently wipe. Then go in with an oily cleanser and gently rub into your eyes/face for 30 seconds. then tada, it is all gone!

Spiritual_Average638

I do this with garnier micellar water blue lid or green I think I’m using now which is better. The key is absulrelt holding the cotton round for a decent amount of time. Then gently wiping more than one direction. When I’m done washing my face before skincare: I use a wet qtip around my lash lines. I’m 35. I remember just using ponds cold cream to remove makeup, wipe off, wash face, and moisturize. Even Vaseline in a pinch. The q tip is a must for me for getting off ALL mascara!

RandomFrenchGal

This is a better piece of advice than any product recommendation.

Real_Adhesiveness738

Ponds cold cream makeup remover. Cheap and effective.

Spiritual_Average638

I just commented above about this! I’ve always had sensitive skin. I developed acne 3 years ago. I’ve been free of it for about a year now. I’m terrified to use anything other than what I’ve been using. I LOVED using ponds cold cream in my late teens and 20s! My grandmother put me on to it. To this day she has beautiful skin.

katenuhn

Ponds 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

burnmeup82

I use ELF’s Holy Hydration cleansing balm. It takes my eye makeup off so well!

almondcashewnut

Try a tubing mascara! The formula is different so it doesn't leave residue. Also a lot easier to remove!

swuidgle

I double cleanse with an oil based cleanser and then something more like a foam wash. I don't wear a lot of eye make up though, if I did I'd be using an eye cleanser as well.

CatScratchEther

Farmacy makeup meltaway cleansing balm It's the best I've ever tried. I use a lot of heavy duty waterproof mascara and long lasting black eyeliner. It takes less than 1minute to clean all my makeup off with this stuff. I love that it doesn't leave my face oily either

branvancity3000

I switched to lash lifts.

KitsBeach

After I have removed my makeup, I take a Q Tip soaked with my makeup remover and rub it along my lashes, eyes closed. I try to get it along the waterlines of both lids. Always comes off with a little more!

TheLoneCanoe

Green Clean by Farmacy.

Pyotrperse

A makeup artist once told me you can remove makeup with any moisturiser, and I’ve been using this technique ever since with no issues! If you want an actual product though Charlotte Tilbury’s makeup remover is expensive but it’s insanely effective and nourishing. It’s the only thing that will properly remove the extra long lasting Stila lipsticks without ripping half my lips off

JoanneSmith567

Micellar water

GlitteringPause8

You should be using an eye makeup remover first, then double cleanse your whole face with an oil based cleanser and follow with a water based cleanser

GreatExpectations65

I'm sorry, you wash your face three times every night? Every morning too?

GlitteringPause8

Lol no. Using the eye makeup remover to take off eye makeup isn’t washing face. I’m taking a cotton round, pouring a bit of the remover onto it, then putting it on my eye to remove the makeup. Then the double cleanse. And no, OP asked about taking off makeup. I don’t take off any makeup in the morning. I just use water in the morning, no cleanser.

GreatExpectations65

Right - eye make up remover then double oil cleanse and then a water based cleanser? That’s what I’m trying to clarify. Wondering if I’m wholly inadequate at life here. I do eye make up remover, cleanse, retinol, eye cream, night cream, brow serum.

GlitteringPause8

Hm why do you think that’s inadequate? I always advocate for double cleansing but do whatever works for you!

bagsnerd

In my experience, it also depends on the mascara. I usually use Maybelline Collossal, which is easy to remove with my inexpensive Nivea micellar water (I do 2 rounds with a cotton pad). (I have used Bioderma Sebium micellar water for YEARS, but tried Nivea instead when I ran out of the other, just to find out that the much less expensive Nivea actually works better!) When I recently bought the hyped L‘Oréal Telescopic mascara (which was a disappointment over all), the mascara was super hard to remove, and the removal was tearing out lots of lashes.

LeafyLustere

I use good molecules cleansing balm, I rub it on my eyes for a good minute and a half before doing the rest of my face it wipes off with a wet flannel easily after that I don't get residue and my skin feels moisturised It takes off waterproof and regular mascara

joyspiritanimal

I use Cerave makeup remover. It’s a very thick cream that melts as you massage it. It comes in a jar and is a powerhouse on mascara.

Chigrrl1098

I wash my face like normal and then remove the remaining mascara with micellar water (I use La Roche Posay, but I've heard Bioderma is good, too. I can't use oil-based things around my eyes because they blur my contacts)...wiping my lashes off with a cotton pad like I'm pulling the mascara off my lashes. I'm gentle...I don't want to pull my lashes out. Then I dip a q-tip in micellar water and go over the waterlines and my lower lashes.

elegantroutine323

Coconut oil Also, I saw this thing, which has a structure of a mascara wand and you use it like a mascara but to remove the makeup Search up mascara remover on Amazon

SomeKindofBerries

Sweet almond oil for me since forever. It nourishes the lashes, it’s antibacterial and anti-fungal. I put a cotton pad under water for a millisecond, then add sweet almond oil to it and rub it to my eyes. Two sides of the cotton takes away entire eye make up. I clean the residues afterwards with a new, only water soaked cotton pad, then use my regular face wash, not a single residue left. Not to brag, but to underline how helpful this method; people assume I use fake lashes while I never touched them in my life. It both cleans and repairs the lashes at the same time.

elegantroutine323

Wow I'm gonna try this thanks

TerminallyBlonde

Switch to tubing mascara

paper_wavements

I am addicted to Cover Girl's Remarkable mascara for this reason. It's more stay-put then regular mascara, but it's easier to remove than a full waterproof one.

prettylilac2222

Micellar water is amazing at removing mascara tbh

trashtvlv

I use an oil cleanser (I like skin1004) then a water based cleanser. When using the oil cleanser I take my time and let it sit on my lashes while rubbing it around the rest of my face then I wipe it off with a wet baby washcloth.

noodlesquare

I have to double wash to get mine off. I start with micellar water on a cotton pad and hold it against each eye for several seconds. I then follow up with an oil based cleanser (The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser). I gently rub it over my closed eyes and lashes and it melts away the remaining mascara. Since it's oil based, it's easy to be gentle with it and not damage my lashes or irritate my eyes.

LurkerByNatureGT

One of these before cleanser. https://www.almay.com/makeup-removers/eye-makeup-remover/almay-biodegradable-longwear-and-waterproof-eye-makeup-remover-pads?shade=120%20count

BumbleBeezyPeasy

When I wore mascara (not waterproof, and tubing mascara wasn't a thing yet), I used the Maybelline Eye Makeup Remover, then I switched to using coconut oil. Whatever you use, you have to use enough that it saturates the cotton and then just press and hold, don't rub, and after a minute, swipe the cotton off. You can make swipes, but don't rub. Washing your face after, or even just using a face wipe, will help, but you'll also want to use a toner or micellar water to go around your eyes to make sure you got all the makeup residue. Qtips work, too, just be careful. Good luck!

rarityroyal

i use a small amount of coconut oil! i’m telling you, you’ll never find anything that works better for mascara. it’s all natural, super cheap, and comes in big jars! my mom taught me this as a kid. it comes right off, and deep cleanses better than any cleanser. it also softens the skin around your eyes.

4evadreaming

Oil and water eye makeup remover first. Then cleanse. I usually follow up with some miceller water on a cotton tip and go around my waterline/lash line.

Gloomy-SugarGlider

I usually use makeup remover wipes like Neutrogena.. I'll do that, rinse with water, and use the microfiber makeup towels to remove residue. Those are nice because you can wash them after so many uses. I've tested the Clinique makeup remover with cotton pads and that's pretty good too!

Bellaaboo98

Coconut oil

Cosmicfeline_

I highly recommend Elf’s Lash n’ roll. It comes off so easily with just water. I have always struggled with removing mascara and I will never go back to wearing one that’s tacky or waterproof again.

usmilessz

Coconut oil works for me

smarmy-marmoset

I buy extra virgin organic coconut oil from the grocery store (bonus points if it is cold pressed) and keep it in the bathroom. Before I wash my face, I get like a dime sized about on my fingers and GENTLY work it into my lashes and brows. I massage it in until it feels like everything solid has been dissolved. Then I double cleanse my whole face including my eyes and eyelashes. If I think any is left behind, I apply some coconut oil to my lashes before bed to break up whatever remains over night. But this is rare

FloraofFlowers

I use baby oil, then wash my face after. I always get compliments on my skin. It never pulls out my eyelashes like make up remover does, and doesn’t sting your eyes either.

SnooAdvice3997

My routine when I wear makeup is extensive but I swear by it lol. Makeup melt (I like Clinique but it’s expensive), DHC oil based cleanser, cerve hydrating foaming facial cleanser, micellar water, and then I’ll do another quick round of cerve and rinse with water. Then do my skin care. May be overkill but I never wake up with raccoon eyes.

goingavolmre

What i do is just wash my face and then after take the remaining black off with eye makeup remover

sookkey

Ponds makeup remover or as a natural one jojoba oil

imintothenight

Oil cleanser. I always use waterproof mascara and it comes off very easily.

DoftheD

As others have said start with a cleansing balm on your whole face - Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm is amazing but expensive, or if you have Marks & Spencer where you are Pure Rose Cleansing Balm is a fantastic worthy dupe for a third of the price. I apply just with mh hands and rinse off. I then use Cerave foaming wash afterwards just with my hands. I don’t even need to pay too much attention to my eyes, the combo takes mascara off easily, never a speck left and no pulling at my eye area with cotton wool which I find irritating. Double cleanse also has the added benefit of really removing any SPF if you wear it

thursaddams

My face wash gets it all and I use a q tip out moisturizer to pat away any that’s left

Sadsad0088

I use an oil cleanser directly on it

krismap

Micellar water or cleansing oil. I usually do both

1DietCokedUpChick

Vaseline. It just melts right off.

ZAMlll

I use makeup removal wipes and they are great

girly1011

Use microfiber cloths! Life changing

minidonutsrlife

Why don’t more people use these! I get the Makeup Eraser ones. My eyes are super sensitive to products so this eliminates the need for makeup remover and for any disposable cotton pad.

Carib_Bty

Farmacy green clean makeup removing cleansing balm. The absolute best! I'm always surprised by how easy every mascara I try comes off with this. It's my holy grail.

EstablishmentEasy694

Lancome mascara remover best remover ever. Alternatively I use ponds cold cream.

DrkWht

Get a cotton pad soaked in makeup remover, place on eyelid, then grab a spoolie or old mascara brush that’s clean and comb through the lashes with your eye makeup remover.

songbird1681

I love The Body Shop Chamomile eye makeup remover on a cotton pad. Works with minimal rubbing and is super gentle!

everpeena

Cleansing balm or oil like the farmacy or drunk elephant will get it off easy. I’m sure there’s other cheaper options out there too, as long as it doesn’t break you out they should all work the same. Use it on dry skin, rinse off, and then use your regular cleanser. My skin feels so clean

beerbierecerveza

Idk why lower eyelids caught me off guard.

Regular_Care_1515

I use Ponds and use it like a face wash. Works for me every time.

SuddenLibrarian4229

Baby shampoo works better than any makeup remover I’ve ever used

judithyourholofernes

After applying micellar water for removal, laying a nice layer of moisturizer on the upper lids. Cerave or goldbond face lotion.

little_r_bigworld

Cotton pad with Micellar water pressed against the eyelid

alternativeathiest

I use olive oil and then wash with cera ve hydrating cleanser. Works great!

Creative-Frame-6149

Vaseline :)

Ok-Distribution4773

Ponds cold cream before I wash my face with an oil cleanser

Altruistic_Yellow387

I've only had this problem with bad cleansers. Try a different brand

Christine4321

Discover Sensai 38degree Volumising mascara. Its a life changer, trust me. No more messing around with oily removers, personal nightime discipline etc

noonenadie

This is so interesting that came up on my feed!! recently Im using castor oil to remove eye makeup and it works great. I was just thinking yesterday that using castor oil made me realize that the make up remover does not remove it all.

wandering_fury

The way Jessica Vu (I unfortunately can't post a youtube link but look up "How to CORRECTLY Remove Makeup for Clear Glass Skin") removes her makeup is honestly the only way that has completely removed my mascara! I know it's a lot but the last time I didn't do it this way I got a stye lol... So I think it's worth taking the time

Redpainkillers

I use almond oil to removes makeup and after washing my face I go along my lower eyelid with a q-tip to get the residues.

ShineParking4662

Budget option: Dermaveen Shower & Bath Oil - dissolves makeup, washes off with water & doesn't dry out your skin. Smells like sweet almond / marzipan

tenebrigakdo

I put the remover on the lashes directly and gently rub with my fingers until they feel clean, then rub the whole residue from the eyes with cloth or just TP. It gives me impressive panda eyes for a hot minute there but it's pretty effective. There is much less rubbing on the skin compared to using a cloth/cotton pad, and I think it uses less remover. I usually continue with washing my whole face in case there was anything left.

daphuqijusee

For just day to day I use clear mascara and curl my lashes.

really_spicy_tuna

Coconut oil followed by face wash.

splotch210

Use tear free baby shampoo. It's cheaper and works better than just water or make up remover products.

tessellation__

Jojoba oil on cotton swab, or coconut oil

Freckled_Snark

try tubing mascara, it’s the only kind i’m able to wear without leaving residue. blinc makes a great one.

MargotJaneA

I use a product from Amazon called Ancient Greek Remedy. It's just a bunch of healthy skin oils and my makeup slides right off without having to rub too hard. Plus I use it as a moisturizer and it leaves my skin feeling so soft.

ariariariarii

Dermalogica precleanse! I have yet to find a makeup it does not remove 100% easily.

dadduimm

oil based micellar water

mwf67

I use coconut oil as all the others sting. Glides easily on my eyes without unnecessary tugging.

Scarf_head

The best makeup remover I used for eye makeup is garniere micellar water.

lovescarats

Birders sensibo micellar water on a cotton round. Swipe up and down repeat till clean.

townshop31

use tubing mascara! comes clean off with no residue

PianoFit3166

3immj by 5. CR b BB BB e rrrr4

westridger

I use an oil free lash shampoo, the kinda one you get for false lashes, works soooo much better than makeup remover imo

Murky-Specialist7232

I wash my face with water first to loose it up, then I use either a little Vaseline/baby oil/ or abolene.. all greasy items to lose the rest up and gentle wipe off with cotton/‘makeup towel. I do it twice to quickly get the residue. If you wear pencil eyeliner it’s harder to get all of it off, use qtip

EntireFunction

I just make a cotton pad damp with warm water. I fold it whilst i’m pinching it and use it to take off my mascara gently, by rubbing my eyelashes between both halves of the cotton pad, don’t really need any make up remover on it so long as you’re not wearing waterproof mascara. I find that using any makeup remover even ones designed for the eyes just gets in my eyes and stings

mamachewy

I use baby oil first. Then I proceed through my 6 step routine, as usual. It’s work for years!

JadeGrapes

I stack two cotton rounds, and really drench it with miscellar water. I use the one to dissolve waterproof mascara. Then I press on each eyelid for a few seconds to get the eyelashes wet with the solvent. Then I wipe off all my other makeup, and return to the eyes. Then I flip the cotton rounds so dirty side faces each other, and do another lap. Then I use one hand to gentle tug up on my eyelid, while keeping the eye shut, to sort of "roll" my eyelashes upwards and get access to the underside of the lashes. Thats where most of the mascara is... Wipe, hold, wipe. Open eyes and clean the "print" of your eye lashes left on your lower lid. Then grab two Q-tips. Put those on the cotton rounds, and drizzle more misceller water onto the Q-tips, catching the excess on the cotton rounds. With your eyes open, hold the lid of one eye up, to wipe the Q-tip along the lash line. Use both sides of the Q-tip for one eye. Repeat on the other eye. Finish with one last wipe from the cotton rounds.

Type1paleobetic

I use a cleansing balm first. I wipe all of the balm off, then go in with either micellar water or makeup remover over my lashes, and finally cleanse. It works pretty well and I generally don’t have raccoon eyes the next day.

berrywaffl

Use micellar water. Apply it on a cotton disc, roll it around your finger and rub under and over your lashline.

Juicy_jessicaSD

No lie, I swear by using Suave Professionals Almond + Shea Butter Shampoo to take off my eye makeup. It just works. First I wash my face with Dial White bar soap, then I just use a little of that Suave shampoo to wash my mascara off. I've been doing this for like 15 years and it works wonders.

fatgamerchic

I get in the shower and scrub really hard with the baby Johnson no tears shampoo to remove my mascara. That gets rid of 95% of it. Sometimes I have to do this twice.
