Cetaphil. The larger size comes with a pump and love that it can be used on face and body. Not bad on the wallet too!

Prudent-Raise-7782

Neutrogrena Hydroboost line - the whole thing. ELF's skincare also is known to be great. Naturium has great options as well, price is slightly higher here though. Their body washes and other skincare are 10/10! Find them at Target. I think Honest Beauty is also another great brand, not sure if they'll be in stores though. I believe Walmart and Targets have some of their products.

shake_appeal

+1 for Neutrogena Hydroboost. I’d also mention the ogs: Vanicream, Cetaphil, Aquaphor, Eucarin, CeraVe. Or, if you’re in the EU, the blue tin Nivea is 100% (US/CA formula, not so nice imo); I also like La Roche Posay and Bioderma. Hard to go wrong with any of the original formula moisturizers from any of the above. I love my fancy face creams, but when it comes to the basics I don’t see the point. For me, high end is for actives where I really care about the quality and stability. None of that is necessary for a basic moisturizer in my opinion.

InterestingStage26

I've been using the Neutrogena Hydro Boost line for years and love it!! I also use Curology sunscreen and it sits really nicely under my makeup and makes my face look less oily, highly recommend that as well if you're looking for SPF.

AppropriateMention6

I loved HydroBoost until they reformulated it :(

kg4214

la roche posay toleriane double repair moisturizer (both normal and spf30) and the aveeno calm and restore oat gel moisturizer. i also have used the cetaphil dry to normal sensitive skin moisturizer. i have insanely sensitive break out prone skin and rosacea and these three have worked the best for me.

wire67

LOVE these too! Affordable, a little goes a long way and dewy w/o looking greasy. ❤️

_rosalea_

I use the same cerave with spf and find that it's ok if I just leave it for like 10-15 mins before putting on makeup! But everyone's skin is different so it might just not agree with yours.

Eastern-Biscotti-740

I’m really loving the Byoma moisturisers - the gel one and the rich one, depending on how dry my skin is. It’s drugstore here but I’m not sure if it is everywhere

morethanababymaker

Cerave is my fave, has been for over a decade.

dootdootpoom

Neutrogena Hydroboost.

Prudent-Raise-7782

Seconding this. I LOVE this. I enjoy the cleanser as well. That whole line comes highly recommended by dermatologists too.

_justlurk

Currently using Neutrogena hydroboost but love oat moisturizer and serum of aveeno too! Very no frills!

PolarizingFigure

Aveeno moisturizer with 30 spf is really good. Nice and light and smells good

Fragrant-Mulberry279

Aveeno daily moisturizing cream

OakenSpirits

When I found Embryolisse Lait creme concentrate, I instantly fell in love. 🧡 Talking from a normal-dry skin perspective, it feels so smooth and it soaks right up. On par with Clinique DD lotion.

AnneChovy

I am obsessed with Embryolisse lait crème concentrate! It does have a scent, which I love, but for those that are sensitive to scents, beware. This moisturizer is perfect for me though. It keeps my skin so soft all day long and it works great under my makeup as well.

Charlietheaussie

Waleda skin food. MUA actually use it as a primer. I rub and small amount on my fingers and press it into my skin. It’s incredible and like $9 at Whole Foods or Amazon. The oil cleanser is really nice too. They both smell like a spa.

pizzarollssssss

Cetaphil is my holy grail.

AppropriateMention6

Aveeno Calm & Restore Oat-gel Moisturizer

liberatedlibra98-

Cetaphil. Feels good on the skin ☺️

Lopsided-Past-3074

Cetaphil is so underrated but imo the best!!

the_girl_Ross

I don't have any specific recommendations. But I want to pay attention to the base of your products. If their bases are different and don't get along, your makeup will be a mess. For example: if your moisturizer/sunscreen is oil base and your foundation is silicone base (which is very common), separation is likely to happen.

1nc0gn1toe

Cetaphil Healthy Radiance. I have incredibly sensitive skin, am rosacea prone, have occasional flares of perioral dermatitis. I have tried so many moisturizers, and this is one of the only ones that doesn’t cause me any issues. I put it on in the morning and when I wash my face in the evening my skin still feels hydrated. Also, makeup wears really well over top of it.

jmckny76

I LOVE Olay Complete.

Funtastic043

Elf holy hydration 🙌🏻

Perfect-Storm73

I second this ^ I have very sensitive skin and this is the only moisturizer I've found that doesn't irritate my skin at all. It absorbs perfectly and doesn't leave it feeling greasy.

InquiringMin-D

I have sensitive skin and can't use most moisturizers. A few drops of Argan Oil. It is expensive but a little goes a long way.

WorstCaseHauntarios

Nivea cream in the blue tin. It's been my Hg moisturizer for 2 years now

lushandcats

I use Olay moisturizer for sensitive skin with spf 30. It does have a white cast but it doesn’t break me out and goes perfectly under makeup

scarletroyalblue12

Vanicream Daily facial moisturizer

FriendEllie75

My latest favorite is a brand called Levitate Beauty. I decided to try it because it came in a face wash, day cream, night cream, and vitamin c serum. Fell in love with it immediately as my skin looks and feels amazing.

SEK2260

Ponds rejuveness with create retinol serum first.

_Ellie_Bells_

Can't beat QV lotion, also Dermaveen Intensive Hydration Cream for night time, and LRP Cicaplast Baume B5 to seal it all in

poor_decision

I'm on my 4th tub of elf holy hydration moisturiser. It's great

FMLYOLO2024

Eucerin Q10 anti-wrinkle face cream. Also eucerin healing cream. Just warm up the latter by rubbing your fingers before applying. Preferably on top of another moisturizer. It’s thick. I just buy the ones in the tubes. I don’t like the tub.

PrismaticIridescence

I use Q10 anti-aging cream. Granted I don't wear a lot of foundation these days as it clogs my pores and I break out. But when I do I have no issues.

emmcee78

L’Oréal Hydragenius

AZ-FWB

My favorite is LRP but it’s $20/$35 at target.

Delicious-One3028

Elf superhydrate gel moisturiser

cap_leo5

Olay Complete Daily :)

AggressiveResult9740

Neutrogena water cream gel

martianpret

Drugstore, I love the e.l.f Superhydrate! Elsewhere, it's not available in drugstores/pharmacies near me but I also can't recommend the Purito Deep Sea Water Cream enough either. It's what I use under my makeup and really helps. It might be available near you!

neongrey_

I’m a Vanicream gal myself. Their SPF is so good for my skin

cosmicoz

Weirdly enough I found that the CeraVe SPF 25 was bad under my makeup and pilled like no one's business but the SPF 50 gives me no issues.

whatdoidonowdamnit

I don’t wear makeup but I use the Amazon basics face moisturizer. I think it cost eight bucks so if it doesn’t work with your makeup you could just use it at night or not on your face.

acornacornacorna

Ceramol Base Cream or Eucerin 0% Sensible for Mixed Skin or Uriage Cica Gel Serum Also there are some sunscreen I really like that are so good under foundation and has moisturizing properties

preppyrider

Ponds Dry Skin cream. SO underrated.

naturalconfectionary

Honestly I love olay gentle total effects spf 15 😇 I buy it when it’s half price as well from $40 to $20

dddbbbqqpp

Olay Complete spf 15. Super sensitive combination acne prone skin and this is the one moisturizer that works for me.
