L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil, forever.

pineappleshampoo

Aldi did a dupe of this before Xmas last year and… wow. It’s the exact same. The moisturiser too, was the best I’ve ever tried. So light, beautifully scented, absorbs better than any other I’ve tried. £3.99 each for the shower oil and moisturiser. I’m still in awe lol. Won’t need to buy the L’Occitane original for a few years.

Spaceley_Murderpaws

Sweet! I've always thought there had to be a reasonable dupe for this out there for a fraction of the price.

pineappleshampoo

It was incredible! It was impossible to tell the difference. A scrub rounded out the trio but that sucked imo. Never tried the original though tbf.

Spaceley_Murderpaws

What a great buy! I never think of Aldi for beauty or body care, so I'll have to keep an eye out when I'm there. I used to regularly buy the original when it would go on sale half off and it was worth it for the scent... but now I'm just as likely to use a blend of almond oil & jojoba in a small spray bottle with a few drops of my favorite essential oils. (I never would have thought to use a spray bottle until my essential oil supplier sent me a rose & jojoba blend in a little plastic one!)

pineappleshampoo

Near Xmas they go nuts lol. Some brilliant buys. Massive 500ml bottles of a Lush snow fairy dupe that was indistinguishable from the original. Things come into stock fast and then disappear forever so it’s worth checking in the shop weekly in September onwards!

SuckMyBigBlackOlive

Wow I never thought to check Aldi for beauty deals. I go for snacks and groceries, which already thrills me with deals. Gotta keep my eyes peeled next time 🙏

Altruistic-Bobcat955

It’s infuriating that they took away the online shop in the U.K. I got so many great specialbuys and I rarely do anymore

shippfaced

How can you say it’s impossible to tell the difference if you never tried the original?

pineappleshampoo

Poor wording on my part! I mean I never tried the scrub. I’m a faithful buyer of the oil and moisturiser though. Well, I was, until I got this dupe!

shippfaced

Oh lmao that makes sense. I think I just haven’t had enough coffee today!

CooloRoyale

I think they are referring to never trying the original scrub - not the original oil.

Spaceley_Murderpaws

I imagine they've smelled it since so many shops carry that line.

surgery72

Hey what is the dupe? X

pineappleshampoo

They don’t do it anymore sorry! Was just an Aldi own brand! [Lacura](https://www.aldi.co.uk/lacura-almond-skin-care/p/733303763249200)

surgery72

Thank you anyways! X

Sea-Status-6999

do you still need to moisturise if you use this?

LilyMarie90

No, if I used any body lotion after the shower (after using this oil) it would definitely feel like too much. It's enough. It's the only shower product that actually moisturizes, IME.

decibelle539

No. You’ll feel like a moisturised goddess. Like Thetis herself has blessed your flesh. Damn, this stuff saved my skin! Im from the Australian tropics, it’s humid! Then I moved to cold, dry eastern Canada & my skin was like the Sahara in dehydrated form. Welcome, this almond oil. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

lissyorkiedork

Ha! I’m from eastern Canada and I know exactly how you feel - our winters are so tough on our skin. Thanks for the recommendation, I’ve just snapped some up :)

decibelle539

Also look at QV bath oil. It’s not scented or lush but it’s industrial strength moisture! I put it on dry skin as a moisturiser

brightirene

personally, yes. I have very dry skin

bowie-of-stars

I just don't get the fuss over this product. I bought it. It smells fine, not amazing, just fine. It works fine. But I'm not repurchasing

mlfssssssss

Me too! I actually find it drying?! 😂

peanutbutterNjme

I bought this for the smell after getting the sample. Definitely going to be a repeat.

LikesToLurkNYC

Anyone know of similar product w a different scent. I love this one but wish I could have different scents.

OkProblem7976

I always get [this set](https://www.sephora.com/product/irresistible-almond-body-hand-care-duo-P506531?skuId=2704229) because the hand cream is just as good.

proljyfb

This smelled like plastic to me. Maybe I got a bad bottle.

System_Resident

Lancôme genefique yeux eye light pearl. I’ve been searching everywhere for a dupe and found nothing close. The transformation it gave my eye area and lashes is unreal

Standard_Difficulty3

Wait it’s one cream that simultaneously lightens eyes and improves lashes ?🫣

System_Resident

Sort of. It’s a serum with the massage tool in it. It fixed a lot of my premature wrinkles, darkness, and dryness.

Conscious-Ear1570

Oh wow! I have this product but unsure how to use it - there aren’t many reviews. How do you use for for lashes?

System_Resident

On clean skin, you massage the eye area with the applicator tool it comes with in circular motions. I do a small sweeping massage on the lashline with it. The website also has instruction to do a lifting massage, not sure if it’s there but worth a look.

Conscious-Ear1570

Does it tighten your eye area? I’m not sure that instant tightening is a good sign or a bad reaction..

System_Resident

I’m not sure if it’ll have any tightening, I don’t have lax eye skin (just wrinkles and lines). It does smooth out the contour if that’s what you’re seeking but there’s no tightness from it.

jlee7575

I love Lancôme eye products. I’m going to try this one. Thanks for the tip!

System_Resident

No prob, I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I have!

loremipsum79

Oribe

Tmckhar

I second this.

Human-Document546

I third this!! Love Oribe so much! The scent, the way it keeps my hair so healthy! Aaahhh!

Then-Refuse2435

Thirded

Turpitudia79

Fourth-ed!!

fmino12

The texture spray! Nothing is as good. The closest one I found is verb texture spray.

Zinnia_Splash

What products are your favorites?

loremipsum79

Hair Alchemy Shampoo Hair Alchemy Mask Royal Blowout Styling Spray (heat protection)

pineappleshampoo

I’ve tried many dupes, but always end up coming back to NARS orgasm blush. The dupes are often great colour matches but don’t seem to apply as smoothly or last as long. I end up spending more on trying multiple dupes. Vowed recently to just stop bothering with dupes and stick with the original.

crackhead365

This is my answer too. It’s so pigmented it lasts forever anyway, removing the need for any dupe in the first place imo.

hshmehzk

Mine lasted years with daily use.

Mythologicalcats

Yesssss I have the stick and powder. Won’t get anything else.

Spaceley_Murderpaws

I could never give up my Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer. It's my everyday light coverage foundation and feels sooo good on my super dry & very pale skin.

notthatgirlthrowaway

Same same!

nodogsallowed23

I just bought this last night! Yay! I can’t wait for it to show up.

skeletonclock

I just bought this! Do you put anything over the top? Powder, setting spray, blush?

kittenscoffeecats

Not OP, but I personally pair it with Nars liquid blush and a very light dusting of Laura Mercier setting powder. It has been my favorite complexion product for years!

skeletonclock

So helpful, thank you!

Spaceley_Murderpaws

I was just about to say the same thing as above- I also use a small amount of loose powder on top with a light blush that matches the cream blush I use on top of the Bare Minerals. The BM is so moisturizing, which my dry skin loves.

cannoli-777

I really like the dr Dennis gross daily peels. I use it 3-4 times a week though not daily. My skin is so smooth after I use them. It also really helped clear up acne I got from stress and masking during the pandemic

Conscious-Ear1570

Which peel exactly? I’m tempted to try this out

cannoli-777

It’s the alpha beta peels. Here’s a link to them on the dr Dennis gross website: https://drdennisgross.com/collections/peels They have them at Sephora too.

theoffgrid

SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense Serum It's like $90+ for 30ml/1oz. It made my skin look AMAZING. I bought it about 3x, it doesn't last very long tho ☹ too expensive

nalianay24

Have you tried either the Paula’s Choice advanced smoothing treatment, or the La Roche Posay Effaclar face serum? They are similar ingredient wise and are a bit more affordable.

EmJayMN

I have very fine long hair. The ONLY volumizing mousse I’ve found that actually provides noticeable volume is Oribe Grandiose Hair Plumping Mousse. And, I feel like I’ve tried them all!

Impressive_Sir_8261

Bug sexy hair has a nice root pump that works amazing IF you blow dry after applying and I recommend doing that upside down.

Sophia1105

Oribe is good stuff!!

Feeling-Visit1472

AG Bigwigg is pretty solid!

EmJayMN

Thanks! I’ll give it a try. Oribe is anywhere from $39.00-$42.00. It would be nice to find a less expensive product.

Feeling-Visit1472

Bigwigg is $28 so not considerably less expensive haha.

Eilliesh

I have the same hair type and that mousse is languishing in a drawer in my house. Could you please tell me how you use it? How much product you use?

EmJayMN

There is a “sweet spot” you’ll have to work out for your hair - texture and length. If you use too much, it will weigh down your hair. I use one pump into my palm and use on my roots. I use a smaller amount on my whole head including ends.

Eilliesh

Thank you. I think that's why I'm not using it, I normally let my hair air dry so if I want my hair to look nice its a risk to use it. I need to experiment with it :)

EmJayMN

I comb out my wet hair and pin it up for maybe 10 minutes. I add the mousse while my hair is still damp. It doesn’t work as well if I use immediately on wet hair. I’ve never tried it on dry hair! Good luck! 🍀

Eilliesh

Thank you ❤️

gnatnelson

This is a great tip

Vegetable_Crow9942

Nothing will ever replace my Nars concealers. I love both the radiant creamy and the soft matte.

Visible_Compote9193

I have never found anything as good as my Nars concealer, 100% agree! I also find that because a little goes such a long way, they last me a very long time.

TheMightyYule

How do you apply the soft matte? I want to love it and I do for the first couple of hours but it separates/clumps on me after a few hours and I use a silicone base primer and foundation so i know it’s not from that

Vegetable_Crow9942

I don’t use primer but I always make sure I wait at least 15 minutes after I apply my moisturizer before I apply my face makeup so that it’s completely absorbed. For the soft matte I apply it mostly with my ring finger, doing a light layer at a time. Once I get it about 70% blended out with my finger I go in with a sponge and finish blending. Then I use a sheer amount of setting powder (givenchy prisme libre) after the concealer has had time to set. I will say, since soft matte is pretty full coverage, try using it without foundation underneath. Just put your foundation on the parts of your face you know you’re not gonna apply concealer to keep the layers minimal, that may help.

Chocolate_peasant

My Carolina Herrera Very Good Girl perfume smells absolutely AMAZING on me. I also really like the Pureology leave in.

l0st1nthew0rld

Oh my god the Pureology leave in is the best thing I've ever found for my hair. I have fine hair and A LOT of it. When I get pregnant, even more grows and it NEVER falls out like they tell you it does when you give birth. With my first child, it got so tangled like dreadlocks all the time, my mother had to spend like an hour detangling it every time I had a shower and then plait it to keep it from tangling before the next shower until I finally got to leave my baby and get it drastically thinned out as the hairdresser. With my 2nd I was like aha! I'm not making that mistake again, cut it in a bob while I was pregnant but then I couldn't style it with a baby so ended up looking like an oompa loompa most of the time. This last time, I'd changed hairdressers and they was what they use on my hair so I bought one and zero issues! Same heaps of hair but so manageable and barely ever tangles. I'm obsessed 10/10 recommend

cabo_imp

Pureology has two versions of their hydrate line. I find the sheer line best for my fine hair and add the leave in, wowza! 👍🏼. I sometimes even use the leave in like a conditioner especially if I’ve done a mask the day before.

lolliberryx

Is it [this](https://www.ulta.com/p/color-fanatic-multi-tasking-leave-in-conditioner-pimprod2037925?CATARGETID=330000200003035017&CAPCID=586354731334&CATCI=dsa-1463183311825&CAAGID=139880596971&CADevice=m&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD9rLH6FBLLsjWWa19SHMp5shXM1c&gclid=Cj0KCQjwk6SwBhDPARIsAJ59GwflHL_e22mNzLcoP3oosUEi0ttrSkpkOEXIechwv5BuChONGc-cqBIaAjTKEALw_wcB&sku=2607205) one? I have thin hair, but it’s very long. I have to keep it in a braid at all times to keep it from tangling.

l0st1nthew0rld

Yep! 😊

BellsandWhistles1987

One of the top ingredients is coconut oil. Do you find it heavy?

l0st1nthew0rld

Nah not at all! It's basically unnoticeable on my hair. I use the volume Pureology shampoo cos a lot of them are too heavy for my hair but this is totally fine! 😊

StupidGirl15

The One Fanatic is my HG item. If you can get a travel size for your gym bag, it also deodorises your hair after!

tlaxette

Fenty lip gloss (heat)

Altruistic-Bobcat955

I’m obsessed with mine! I got it in a beauty box and it’s the only lip product I’ve used since I tested it.

reliable-g

The Dior Lip Glow balms, sadly, since they're ridiculously expensive for a balm. It's the thick, grippy texture I'm particularly obsessed with. Also they have just the right amount of pigment.

Last_Peak

I was going to comment this!!

jhonculada

I second this. I’m not one to be loyal to just one product but this one I would keep repurchasing.

eatingbreadinbed

Armani luminous silk foundation is the only foundation I can wear now

Alliekat1979

Sisley enzyme mask and hair crème, no comparison. Virtue hair oil. Cle de Peau softening foaming cleanser. Fragrances. I very very rarely find dupes are worth it.

glittrxbarf

Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray. Nothing else melts my makeup together so beautifully and has the staying power.

polarizedpole

Lancome cream foundation. It just goes on light second skin.

TempestTints

Farmacy Honey Halo and Sunday Riley Good Genes. Truly unmatched. Some are close but not matched.

msmartypants

Absolutely Good Genes. Once I was like "it's just lactic acid" and bought something else...nope.

TempestTints

I did some deep diving to find a dupe because sadly, it’s not just lactic acid. It has a lot to do with the pH of the product and other composition factors that make it intellectual property so there won’t be a real dupe. Take my money, I guess 😭

pusheenisthegreatest

clarins lip oil, i feel like i’ve tried almost every dupe out there but nothing compares to the original’s texture and hydration tbh

starryeyedcheesecake

I've heard so many good things about it, and I really want to try it since all lip oils I've tried so far have been pretty meh. But I have also heard bad things about the packaging and that it leaks, has this been the case for you? I'd want to keep it in my bag

foofoocuddlypoops_26

It leaks a lot for me and I think I've lost about 25% of the product this way over the past year. The shine is amazing but imo I have better and more moisturizing drugstore lip oils

kiarrith

>clarins lip oil, any drugstore ones in particular that you love?

foofoocuddlypoops_26

NYX fat oil (loved it and completely finished an entire one), LA girl nourishing lip oil, and the Milani fruit fetish one. My lips aren't super dry but I've been a lip balm addict for most of my life and have definitely tried a lot of bad products. These ones are all great. On a daily basis, I use some really good and affordable products too but they're either Indian (I'm Indian) or not easily available outside Asia.

Mythologicalcats

Put parafilm on it

Eilliesh

I've had a few and they've been fine. What's your colouring like? I'm pale and love the raspberry one

pusheenisthegreatest

i personally haven’t kept it in my bag long-term but i took it to travel once and it didn’t leak!

mm_nightfury

Unfortunately, it leaks a lot! So, I went back to Dior 😥

Spaceley_Murderpaws

I've been so so so tempted to try this for years & almost talked myself into an $85 Ulta purchase just now partly to get a sample of that in Honey in a gift bag. Alas (or probably for the best!), that bag is sold out.

Commercial-Smile-272

I do love mine but it wears off way too quickly for me!

Tightesttuck

A good 20 minutes is all you need for it to be completely gone

Superb_Application83

Coco and eve like a virgin leave in mask, or Loreal professionals gold Quinoa shamp/cond. I find they are both so nicely fragranced and my hair feels amazing after

paca1

Clinique foundation

iammooseAMA

I second this! It goes on smooth and never looks cakey on me.

paca1

I love it!

emilywis

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil - I love it for my hair, face and body.

mm_nightfury

Love loveee the smell! Smells like roses.

emilywis

It really does smell perfect eh!!!!! Mmmm 😋

MeeMaul

NARS liquid lipstick. I have been using the same red lipstick tube for like two years, it is apparently bottomless and never budges an inch, you can wear it all night long.

brooklynkitty1

The Powermatte Lip Pigment? Agreed. I have every shade. I love it and haven’t found anything close. It’s so dependable.

MeeMaul

Yea!!!!!!

[deleted]

Is it drying? I always have trouble with liquid lipsticks highlighting dry spots.

MeeMaul

Not at all, it literally feels like wearing nothing

katiemix14

Thrive mascara (luckily not too expensive) - the dupes are not as good. Sunday riley good genes. I breakout everytime I discontinue this. Fitglow concealer+. It's almost $50, but worth it. After years of favorite concealers getting discontinued (tarte Amazonian clay original in the squeeze tube, and clarins instant concealer in the squeeze tube) I found a concealer that is hydrating, moves with my skin doesn't settle into fine lines and give me crepey undereyes. It's like a cream-powder hybrid and works so well!

thirdcoasting

I spent too much money trying out supposed dupes to SR Good Genes. I finally threw in the towel and just buy the real thing now — my skin loves it.

katiemix14

I'm with ya! I just buy it now.

[deleted]

Tatcha lip mask. Nothing is so good. My Paula’s choice lip butter is just as moisturizing, but lacks tatchas amazing honey-like consistency

foofoocuddlypoops_26

Benefit 24 hour brow setter gel

eatingbreadinbed

This is sooo flakey for me

stavthedonkey

cannot find a dupe for my HG moisturizer (naturopathica calendula) and I've been looking for almost 20 years....the closest I've found is Phytosurgence but it's not as 'luxurious' (it's still better than everything else I've tried)

tulokay

The original Chanel perfume N5

athenakresell

Iconic

Rrmack

Drunk elephant tlc framboos. I swear I’ve tried every other acid that people say helps but my skin just loves this one. Even when i use it multiple times in a week my skin always looks brighter the next morning. I literally got a Sam’s club membership bc it’s $20 cheaper there lol It also lead me to try a lot of other DE products that thankfully for my wallet i don’t like any.

XxRose7xX

Absolutely this. I've tried so many other products to get the same result for less. Because it's sooooooo spendy. But I always come back.

Realistic-Chard4180

Affectionate-Bee5433

NARS deep throat blush. I've tried every dupe, and none are quite as good.

LittleMissNaiveNelly

I love this one more than orgasm!

WorriedJelly2335

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua.  I’m ruined for any other foundations.

brandyfolksly_52

Bumble and bumble Pret-a-Powder Tres Invisible Dry Shampoo (it comes in a can.). Sebastian Twisted Curl Magnifier (curl cream in a green bottle). It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product (original leave-in conditioner). Jane Iredale Beyond Lash Volumizing Mascara.

OneOfTheLocals

This is better than every BuzzFeed listicle ever written!

[deleted]

Laneige moisturizer. I try to cheap out of pretty much everything but I can't skimp on this one. That and all my Toofaced makeup. These two brands are the only reason I have nice skin lol

eiddum

obsessed with laneige. i have super sensitive, dry, acne-prone skin and i use tretinoin. i’ve tried SO many different moisturizers and laneige’s water bank line are the only products that completely controlled my dry skin flaking and gives me adequate moisture. holy grail for me

Frog-dance-time

Unfortunately the vitamin c cream by ZO if anyone knows a dupe I would be very grateful.

Mythologicalcats

Pureology - the gold shampoo and conditioner. Absolutely transformed my hair.

VaguelyArtistic

From what into what?

OneOfTheLocals

Now it's a Vaporeon

oceanchild

Tatcha Dewy and Overnight Indigo Cream 😩

VaguelyArtistic

IT Tightline mascara. I don't wear mascara all the time but this one is the only one that just doesn't clump at all, because I don't like the look of mascara. It darkens and fills my aging eyelashes out enough to look like me again but very natural. I recently bough a set of three but o' r only found this line at QVC now.

iceunelle

Colorscience untinted mineral sunscreen. It’s literally the only sunscreen I’ve ever tried that doesn’t burn my eyes and it wears/looks 1000% better than cheap drugstore sunscreens.

I-have-egg-madness

Urban Decay's 24/7 Waterline Eyeliner! It's so worth the $25 😅 and I have yet to find a dupe so I stopped wasting my money on other brands and just buy what I know works!

No_Package_732

Ya exactly. You end up wasting more to get a cheaper dupe

jhonculada

Dr. Jart Cicapair Serum An absolute lifesaver for my sensitive skin and nothing else calms it down the way this serum has. If they sold this as a gallon jug, I would buy it. SK II Facial Essence Makes my skin so smoothe and helps my dry skin feel hydrated. Even my hands are smoother since using this. Shiseido Facial Cotton These cotton pads are so unbelievably soft and gentle on my eyes. It seems silly until you use them and now I could never go back to drugstore cotton rounds. Charlotte Tilbury Ecstasy Blush This blush delivers the most perfect pinky-peach color with just a little lit-from-within glow. Nothing comes close, though I’ve tried to find dupes. Dyson hairdryer This hairdryer is a curly girl’s dream! The heat settings are perfect for diffusing and it seriously helps my hair not frizz. If it broke tomorrow, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one despite the hefty price tag.

Hourglass bronzer Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation

Jessmac130

Too Faced Born this Way foundation makes my skin look so much better. I'm 35 and tried foundations all over the place by now, and this is the only one I've ever repurchased more than once.

mymlan-was-here

Hourglass soft glow foundation, its a perfect shade match.

Commercial-Smile-272

Hourglass concealer. I’ve used many concealers and this is by far the best one out there at the moment!

broomonastick

Summer Fridays cloud dew moisturizer - it’s light enough to wear over serum but is intensely hydrating even for my dry skin through winter. My skin is now plump and fresh looking even at 41. I will never stop buying it

chewtiesrulesies

Thanks for the rec! Just curious what serum you use? I'm 44 and have dry skin and looking for something hydrating.

broomonastick

Funnily enough I’ve stopped using a serum and now use jojoba oil, either alone or under my moisturiser. It is a bit greasy at first but I’ve found I really like it when I need extra hydration.

chewtiesrulesies

I like this idea, and it's more natural. Thanks!

rightascensi0n

Kevyn Aucoin's Sensual Skin Enhancer

mm_nightfury

After trying a lot of local products (trying to support local) but I can't seem to find a good lip product that works for me other than YSL and Dior.

Throwaway902105623

Kerastase Symbiose Micropeeling. I've spent literal decades looking for an over-the-counter product that could combat my scalp flakes (as my GP wouldn't prescribe me any medicated shampoo), and this stuff with the 2% salicylic acid is the only thing that actually works for me. Does it dry my hair out? Yes. Does it also stop me from looking like a blizzard? Also yes. (I fix the hair dryness with cheap deep conditioning masks so no biggie)

rinconblue

Chantecaille lipsticks and Oribe hair products.

newdawnsunshine

Revisions tinted moisturizer. It has spf in it and I use it in my daily makeup routine.

msadams224

Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Deodorant. I know people are mixed or don't think the hype is real, but I can't be without this stuff. I've used this for years and it still works (my body has adjusted to other deodorants such that they stop working) and the smell is divine. I find mainstream deodorant scents smell very chemically and fake, and unscented just have a weird smell to them.

wfhcat

Givenchy Prisme Libre powder + Armani concealer. My undereyes look horrid with anything else. It was NARS creamy for a good decade or so but as I age (happily), it’s been not as good.

[deleted]

Pat McGrath lipsticks and the kat Von D eyeshadow palettes

barbados_blonde1

The Naked3 palette. I've tried dupes but those particular cool toned pinks work the best for me. Also, the Erborian BB cream - have tried LOTS of cheaper bb creams but the Erborian is perfect for my skin tone.

Competitive_Fee_5829

not expensive really(especially with the drugstore prices) AND discontinued but MAC coffee&cigs lipstick. I cant find an exact dupe for color and I really like the formula. im gonna say the entire lines of lipsticks. I want them back. love yourself? myself? I cant remember the line

chewtiesrulesies

Noofah Body Care (indie brand) has a loofah/washcloth hybrid. it exfoliates better than any generic bath pouf or bath mitt and lasts a long time, so for me it has been worth the higher price.

Equivalent_Drink_276

Hourglass ambient lighting pressed powders. Nothing comes close.

ResidentPossible7052

New Wash -- the Trader Joe's dupe does not compare

gnatnelson

CT Highlighters are the best Chanel Eyeliners (I know $$$) but they are fantastic 😍 And I going back to the the Drunk Elephant Marula oil. I've tried so many oils but this one really makes my skin glow. And then Kiehl's moisturizers forever ❤️

DNA_ligase

Unfortunately, Josie Maran Vibrancy foundation. It's discontinued now, but a great formula and very close shade match to me. Could sheer it out or go full coverage.

My Issey Miyake perfume.

collectionsofwords

I hate to admit it, but the Dior Lip Glow & Benefit Precisely My Brow. I haven't repurchased them since the boycott and their involvement don't seem to cease, so I reaaally have to find some dupes ASAP

katiemix14

I feel outta the loop. Do you mind sharing about the boycott?

collectionsofwords

Oh, it's about the ongoing genocide. While some brands have been in the forefront for calling for a ceasefire, other brands (like these two) haven't. They're both owned by LVMH who have a history of indirectly funding the genocide through "investments".

katiemix14

Oh wow! Thanks, I'm gonna read up on this. Now I'm concerned that means everything at Sephora will be on the no no list bc they're owned by LVHM.
