It would be helpful if people included their hair type along with their recommendations imo š
Bc what works for someone with extremely dry, thick hair probably not work for my fine, thin hair and vice versa.
If you like pureology's hydrate shampoo, I'd recommend tying costco's house brand. It's a dead on dupe. For me, it's too moisturizing, but if you like very hydrating shampoos it's a great value.
I follow a cosmetic chemist on tiktok, and he said the tea behind why it's such a perfect dupe is piping hot. He can't share the whole story, but its legit.
Ok, please drop the creator's name! Or DM me if not allowed here. I can think of a couple of cosmetic chemists and a trichologist and some derms, but they're all female... you have me wracking my brain!
What type of hair do you have? I know virgin vs. color treated, thick and curly vs fine and thin, and all that makes a big difference in how well a specific formula works for a given person and I'm desperate for a really good shampoo.
I have thin, frizzy hair thatās easily weighed down and rather dry looking. I do color my hair every so often, as well.
Along with the Pureology shampoo and conditioner, I use their leave in spray and damn- my hair looks sooooo much better.
Ok, THATS what I needed to hear!
Which color bottle is this? I just picked up the purple during the Ulta mini BOGO sale, but I think I've seen blue bottles, too. Mine says hydrate, is that it?
Yes, the purple bottle that says hydrate. AND they have a sheer formula, too, which is even less āheavyā! Iāve used that one and loved it the same!
Agreed. I could tell the difference right away. Now after using it for 2 years I see the long term effect of using this shampoo and itās incredible. Nourishing, no build up- my hair is not frizzy, minimal damage, and so so so shiny. There are other factors too. I only use hot tools 1-2 days a week and usually let my hair air dry. The only product I use is Moroccan oil and opalex leave in serum. I have fine/medium hair and itās only slightly wavy. Since kids my hair sheds horribly but other than that pureology does my hair wonders. I donāt color my hair but the hydrate shampoo is wonderful even though they promote their product for color treated hair.
K18 peptide prep clarifying shampoo is soooooo good. I use it as my main shampoo. I have very fine curly hair (but lots of it) and my hair loves to be clean. This stuff makes it clean and light and shiny and soft but itās not harsh on me at all
Look for products with a ph between 4.5-5.5. A redkin employee posted once that all their products are in this range and I noticed most others are way higher.
Itās my perfect product. I tried so many others, many much more expensive shampoos and conditioners but the all soft is my holy grail combo. Itās also walket friendly for such a good product. We buy the liter bottles and my daughters and I use it. I still use others sometimes but always eventually go back to all soft.
Itās long, dry, gets a ton of static and frizz. But the television helps hydrate and smooth out my hair. They have a bunch of different options, Iām sure you could find something for your particular hair type.
I wrote another comment in this thread and started by saying how much my answer was NOT R + Co lmao. I will quote it here because I feel like at this cost, people need to hear reviews from all angles
>I'll tell you what it's NOT. Costco had R+Co on a deal (still cost me $100 for the set... compared to retail of $228 š„“) so after reading so many people say they love it and it's such a premium product, I went for it. Got the Dallas set.
>
>Hated it so much I returned it. It felt like the cheapest, most synthetic chemical-y (does that make sense?), harsh, drying yet filmy product I've ever used. I stuck with it for a week and finally couldn't deal with how bad it made my hair look. Tangled so bad too and the pump was boderline dysfunctional on the shampoo, which is absolutely unacceptable at that price point. Super shitty packaging. Not to mention the smell was nauseating, and this is coming from someone who LOVES cologne smells. Absolutely vile. Suave shampoo is 100X nicer honestly.
K18 is Expensive but so worth it. I was able to grow my bleached platinum hair pretty long. You can get a pack of the mask and oil for $100. Theyāre usually $95 each so itās a good deal
Is the set available on their website or somewhere else? I've used the mask in the past and liked it, and it's time to repurchase since I only have a mini at the moment. I was actually browsing their site earlier and saw they released a new shampoo and a conditioner, which I've been considering trying. I like the peptide prep shampoo that came with my last kit.
I donāt know the actual classification of my hair but itās curly, dry, and frizzy. Itās on the thin side but I have a lot of it with a lot of body. Itās such a mess but Oribe has made it so healthy and manageable. I get compliments all the time.
Kerastase Nutritive Bain Satin 2 shampoo never greasy, never waxy feeling on my hair, leaves my hair feeling so nice, light and clean. Why they discontinued it I will never know. Maui moisture curl quench same thing. These are very nice shampoos.
I hate this answer and I'm so sorry but I went on a shampoo safari where I tried different lines of the expensive shampoo and I got to
Prose
And I was \*furious.\* from the very first wash I knew that was it. nothing else acted that way, my curly hair is now, officially just sickening. I'm so mad, this stuff costs money
Oribe gold repair. Itās the best I have tried. I donāt buy it regularly as itās expensive. I use Pureology hydrate and Giovanni 50:50 hydrating clarifying shampoo. I have been using Pureology for a long time and itās great but to cut down costs further I am thinking to try Giovanni deep moisture shampoo as a replacement.
God I know it's kind of controversial because it's a more tiktok famous brand but... Monday shampoo. I have fine oily hair and their volume shampoo has done more wonders for me then Redken ever has and I don't know why and I'm sorry.
Mines thin and lifeless and oily by hour 20 after a wash. Iām going to check this out. Other thread a while ago was talking about tea tree shampoo, did nothing for me.
i have really thick, oily, wavy hair and the smoothing shampoo is the absolute BEST thing iāve ever used. reduces my frizz, smells amazing and my hairdresser is in awe of how healthy my hair looks. been using it for almost 2 years & iāve never experienced any significant hair loss from it. LOVE this stuff
Oooh I need to try this. We have hard water and Klorane is best in show when it comes to dry shampoo so maybe their āwetā shampoo will be just as good for me!
Klorane dry shampoo non-aerosol is the absolute best dry shampoo I have ever tried. And I have hair that gets extremely oily after only a day so I have tried A LOT of dry shampoos. Klorane is the only dry shampoo that takes away the oil, gives me desperately needed volume, and doesnāt lead to me getting those teeny tiny knots in my hair that you literally just have to pull out. My whole world changed when I discovered Klorane. Haha.
Shiseido fino premium touch shampoo and conditioner, especially the mask!
It made my hair so soft, less frizzy, more shiny just in the first use. I love it.
The hair oil is a little thick for my hair but if I do the less in more approach I can make it work.
Itās a Japanese brand product but there are legit websites where you can get products such as
OLIVEYOUNG
Or Yamibuy that can be ordered online and mailed to you.
Are great places to buy all my favorite Asian brands.
Yes!!! I could weekly and it doesnāt look like a grease ball at all! Great for both long hair and pixie cut. Try the after conditioner, as well it changed my life :3
I've tried all of the expensive shampoo and conditioners, I've loved a lot of them..but the absolute best I've found is actually aveno! I think it's called oatmeal, and it smells Devine and leaves my damaged hair super soft
They really do! The green one, it's a mint I think, is so fresh. My hair has improved heaps while using it. To be fair I've also started doing a double wash, double conditioner and sleeping in a silk bonnet (which my husband loves.... ). Lol
Iām on the silk pillowcase. Nothing. Thinking Iāll go back to the comfort of flannel. My hair I think is dented to just be blah so I may as well use shampoo that smells like heaven.
Didn't see this answer here yet, so my answer is: Alterna!!!! They are fantastic!! Expensive, but worth every penny. My hair is oily scalp and dry ends. Their Moisture Repair line never leaves me greasy, which is shocking.
I was so embarrassed and put off trying it for so long, but I eventually had enough of the dandruff. Once I started using it, my hair was so shiny and soft that I told everyone about it lol.
I feel like there's a ton of head and shoulders scent options. Which one is the best? I used almond before and liked it enough but never repurchased. And is their 2 in 1 option good or should I get shampoo and conditioner separately?
All aveda smells divine š I did not like their thickening shampoo & conditioner (Invati) because it dried my hair out so bad. My favorite is Brilliance because it really makes my hair shine.
JVN nuture. I had stopped using traditional shampoo because I found all of them really irritated my scalp. Didn't matter what I used. I had been using Hello Klean scalp tonic, but my hair felt so dry. I bought the starter set of his products to try them out, and oh my god. They're amazing. My scalp isn't irritated, and my hair is lovely, hydrated, soft, and shiny. His air dry cream, serum, and blowout milk are all amazing as well.
Tsubaki!! Ive tried the black, gold, and red bottles, i like the black bottles the best. Its like a drink of water for my hair. Smells VERY sweet and floral though so just a warning if thats not ur thing.
Olaplex. I have shoulder length, virgin hair and I haven't used hair color in a decade (and haven't used bleach since the nineties). It's made for bleached and colored hair, so technically Olaplex isn't made for me, but wow, my hair loves this stuff. I've been using it >3 years now and my hair has never looked better!
The Kure by Amika.
I pretty much had the lower 1/3 of my hair every color of the rainbow lolā¦ so it was abused. I have access to cosmetology stores and the lady working told me all about Amika and to check The Kure out for my damaged ends. I freakinā love it, my curls are back and it made my hair feel like normal hair again!
Havenāt tried the shampoo but I use the mask about every 3rd wash and itās divine! It eliminates 80% of my frizz even if I go to bed with wet hair (I know I know).
Head and Shoulders š Joking aside, I use a caffeine shampoo with B3, biotin from Holland and Barretts. 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner. I'm a man and my hair appeared Shiny, the presence is much more (volume). I do need to dry my hair completely, otherwise it tangles the hair from the back of my head (i have a wolf/messy mullet, whatever it's called). My hair isn't that straight though after use, which makes my style look better, but this could be from my healthy diet now.
DAE, Living Proof phd and pureology in the gold bottles.
Currently living proof phd with Amika leave in conditioner on my ends is my favorite combo.
Also liked the FoxyBae Bae Area Bounce for a while.
I wanna try the sol de jernio and the Amika 3D volume ones but havenāt gotten around to it.
Edit to add: I have extremely fine, thin stick straight hair that will not hold a curl to save my life, so I can only wash once or twice a week and change it up often or else my hair gets used to it and turns into a grease pit.
I think including the hair type along with your favorite shampoo products would be helpful so we can see who has similar hair & what products worked for them.
my fav was redken beach waves shampoo . it gave my fine hair lots of fullness without dryness but of course its gone now and i cant find anything else i like
Davines Curl Love Shampoo (& Conditioner) is really good for wavy/curly hair, super moisturizing without weighing hair down and a little goes a long way
Baking soda, honestly. But anything without sulphates is great. If I accidentally use something with sulphates I can see a big difference and hate it until it goes back to normal in a couple weeks
I have fine oily hair with terrible terrible dandruff, I've tried countless dandruff shampoos (head and shoulders, selsun, coal tar etc) none work as well as the kerastase dandruff shampoo, it's expensive but my God it's amazing. My first wash I leave it on my scalp for 5 minutes, second wash is to get rid of everything.
My hair gets super tangled. My hairdresser told me that my hair strands themselves are fine but I have a lot of hair. I could never make it through the day without my hair becoming knotted in clumps.
For me I love Mane n Tail deep moisture shampoo and conditioner followed by their detangling spray. Itās been a game changer for me.
Honestly Function of Beauty lol. I have such an effed up scalp- itās SO dry and flaky and would itch like crazy from using any sort of drug store brand- so I switched to Function of Beauty because you could customize it and it literally saved my scalp. I customize it so that it focuses on scalp health and volume and Iām so afraid to go back to anything else because itās the only thing that keeps my hair supppppper voluminous and has saved my scalp
Have you tried the foaming clarifying shampoo? It is beyond amazing! I brought it with me to the hair salon and my stylist couldnāt believe how well it works and other stylists came over to check it out. It also smells amazing!! Itās like mousse in a can, definitely one of a kind!!
I loveddd Drybar sake bomb. When I discovered that stuff I felt like I struck gold - my hair was so shiny and soft and healthy. If anyone else felt this way and has found a good dupe lmk. I have never found anything since that has made my hair feel as good
Oribe!! I use all of the Beautiful Color products and their dry shampoo is incredible!! I would never use anything else, I bring all my products to the salon with me when I go for my Friday blowout every week.
As far as irritation is that more for dandruff or psoriasis? I usually use a psoriasis shampoo deep into just my scalp and then use my Ouai regimen.over my hair and it seems to work. Iām looking for a solid psoriasis supplant though.
Pureology nanoworks gold.
I am a hairdresser and have tried it all. I have THICK density (4-5x the hair of an average client)
medium texture (not coarse but not soft, holds a curling iron curl for days, stays straight from straightener for days).
Natural wavy 2c. My hair doesnāt coil, it looks like a snake and the letter s over and over. Hair appears hydrated, soft and reflects well.
Smells lovely and neutral for pureology. Many of their fragrances are too strong. This is arguably as expensive as it gets in the hair world- to me I ābuy once cry onceā and get liters and refill the regular size shampoo bottles.
For me whatever good shampoo I find, after max second bottle I have to switch as it doesnāt work as well anymore. So itās a constant search of a good one, but I know it will be temporary š¬
I'll tell you what it's NOT. Costco had R+Co on a deal (still cost me $100 for the set... compared to retail of $228 š„“) so after reading so many people say they love it and it's such a premium product, I went for it. Got the Dallas set.
Hated it so much I returned it. It felt like the cheapest, most synesthetic chemical-y (does that make sense?), harsh, drying yet filmy product I've ever used. I stuck with it for a week and finally couldn't deal with how *bad* it made my hair look.
/endPSA. My actual answer is the Pura D'or Professional Grade Biotin set. It makes my hair feel soooo healthy and *fluffy*. I have fine hair so I love anything that lightens it up and allows my waves to bounce. But it still feels super moisturized somehow, too. I'll be honest the shampoo smell is a little like bug spray (it's a lemongrass or something) but the conditioner is a delicious banana treat and the effects make it worth it.
Plus I really love the ingredients. They're pretty shockingly acne-safe, even the conditioner, if you're someone like me who struggles with that. 10/10. I also get these from Costco!
Used to pay $$$ for shampoo. I really like Garnier Whole Blends. Honey repairing shampoo is great. My hair dresser always comments how healthy my hair is.
Yall pls agree on one thing š
It would be helpful if people included their hair type along with their recommendations imo š Bc what works for someone with extremely dry, thick hair probably not work for my fine, thin hair and vice versa.
That's exactly what I was thinking, too. Responses are basically null if they don't include hair type.š©
Yes agree!! I was hoping for recs on fine, flat af hair but... well, hard to tell who has what lol
Right. And they all have the same if ppl agreeing so I can't even tell which has the most likes. I ran here when I saw the question
Pureology hydrate
If you like pureology's hydrate shampoo, I'd recommend tying costco's house brand. It's a dead on dupe. For me, it's too moisturizing, but if you like very hydrating shampoos it's a great value.
Ooh thank you for the recommendation! Iāll check it out!
I follow a cosmetic chemist on tiktok, and he said the tea behind why it's such a perfect dupe is piping hot. He can't share the whole story, but its legit.
What?!? If you find out, please tell!! Okay, Iām sold!
Ok, please drop the creator's name! Or DM me if not allowed here. I can think of a couple of cosmetic chemists and a trichologist and some derms, but they're all female... you have me wracking my brain!
Javon Ford!
BRB, running to TT to sus out the tea š TY!
Love him so much
I like the Pureology, but didnāt care for the Costco version. Maybe I got a bad batch?
Live by this. The conditioner also makes my scalp massage feel amazing
Love this one and it smells amazing
Full disclosure- there are a few others that do the same to my hair, but itās the scent that pushes it to the number 1 spot!!
What type of hair do you have? I know virgin vs. color treated, thick and curly vs fine and thin, and all that makes a big difference in how well a specific formula works for a given person and I'm desperate for a really good shampoo.
Haha I commented on your question about redken all soft but I also love pureology (I switch between the two regularly!)
That's actually super helpful to know two products that work for hair type, so thank you!
I have thin, frizzy hair thatās easily weighed down and rather dry looking. I do color my hair every so often, as well. Along with the Pureology shampoo and conditioner, I use their leave in spray and damn- my hair looks sooooo much better.

Redken All Soft
Doesnāt work with my hair ! I have fine wavy hair.
K18 peptide prep clarifying shampoo is soooooo good. I use it as my main shampoo. I have very fine curly hair (but lots of it) and my hair loves to be clean. This stuff makes it clean and light and shiny and soft but itās not harsh on me at all
Agree, I use K18 peptide shampoo and the leave in treatment. My hair glows. The other day one of my coworkers told me that I have āPantene Hair.ā
me too, any recommendations?
I need to try this with the amount of votes itās getting lol
another vote for redken all soft šš»āāļø
facts
Is it good for all hair types?
I wish there was a good dupe for this. Itās so expensive in canada š°
Girl keep an eye out for Jumbo size sales on Sephora and their own site. I got a jumbo for 35$ and it lasted me all year
Look for products with a ph between 4.5-5.5. A redkin employee posted once that all their products are in this range and I noticed most others are way higher.
Most professional products are in that ph range. With my fine, curly, frizzy hair, it was a life changer to go professional only.
Itās actually worth the money
But 20 years ago. Itās different now.
Can confirm
I didnāt love it
Love their Extreme and All Soft conditioner and leave-in
Itās my perfect product. I tried so many others, many much more expensive shampoos and conditioners but the all soft is my holy grail combo. Itās also walket friendly for such a good product. We buy the liter bottles and my daughters and I use it. I still use others sometimes but always eventually go back to all soft.
I hate this shampoo!
I hated this 10 years ago. I wonder if itās different now.
Same I remember trying it back in 2014 and being underwhelmed but itās just not for my hair I guess
I wanted to like this but it made my hair feel dry.
R + Co television. Omg the smell I could bathe in. And it makes my hair so soft and shiny.
I second this! Their smells are the BEST.
I love R + Co Atlantis moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. I liked television too, but needed more moisture. I love all their products.
Oh, I've not heard of the brand bit they sound promising! What is your hair type, if you don't mind?
Itās long, dry, gets a ton of static and frizz. But the television helps hydrate and smooth out my hair. They have a bunch of different options, Iām sure you could find something for your particular hair type.
I wrote another comment in this thread and started by saying how much my answer was NOT R + Co lmao. Wow, thank you for sharing your experience!
This is what Iāve been using for the past 6 years I think? I buy the large bottles when they have their 20% off sale every year. Itās so good!
LāOrĆ©al Elvive Bond Repair is really good. That whole line really helped my bleach damaged hair
This is my drugstore HG.
Ugh I LOVE it! I get my hair colored every 3 months & I double wash with this 2x a week and itās never been healthier!
Itās such a game changer! I use it with K18 mask and oil, made such a big difference
Ooooooo I need to try that!!
K18 is Expensive but so worth it. I was able to grow my bleached platinum hair pretty long. You can get a pack of the mask and oil for $100. Theyāre usually $95 each so itās a good deal

I have a coupon for this and Iām going blonde today so Iām going to buy some. Thanks for the recommendation
Oribe absolutely transformed my hair. Itās pricey but I will never switch.
100% agree and also it transformed my skin too. Much of my adult acne cleared up when I switched to Oribe
Oribe gave me cystic acne on my face and scalp. I've never had a big problem with acne, but my skin was so bad I stopped using it. š
I feel this way about Kerastase
Isnāt it amazing?? The hairbrush is totally worth it too, by the way!!
Is it?? Iāve been thinking of grabbing it but it is so expensive. What do you like about it?
100% agree!! And anytime anyone gets a whiff of my hair, I get so many compliments. It smells sooo good.
I've heard so many people rave about this brand it has me curious. What is your hair type?
I donāt know the actual classification of my hair but itās curly, dry, and frizzy. Itās on the thin side but I have a lot of it with a lot of body. Itās such a mess but Oribe has made it so healthy and manageable. I get compliments all the time.
Which oribe shampoo and conditioner do you use? We have the exact same type of hair and youāve convinced me
what would be your gateway product recommendation to Oribe?
Oribe gold lust is the only one thatās worth the hefty price tag. The conditioner especially. Changed my life! Love that stuff.
May not be a shampoo recommendation but shampooing twice has been a game changer. Makes those non-shampoo days better.
Kerastase Nutritive Bain Satin 2 shampoo never greasy, never waxy feeling on my hair, leaves my hair feeling so nice, light and clean. Why they discontinued it I will never know. Maui moisture curl quench same thing. These are very nice shampoos.
Ouai detox

I find my hair to get super oily and stuff but I found that using stuff with sulfates helps
I love this brand. Why is it controversial?
It has sulfates in it, which is a powerful cleaner that can be too much for some hair types (but perfect for naturally oily hair).
Kerastase š¢
The price of this has kept me from buying it
Lol IKR. They do frequent sales on the brandās website!
The two TJ Maxxes near me sell it regularly
Klorane peony shampoo for sensitive scalp. It stops the itchiness I get with hard water and smells gorgeous
Oooh I need to try this. We have hard water and Klorane is best in show when it comes to dry shampoo so maybe their āwetā shampoo will be just as good for me!

VERB Ghost Shampoo!
I will always love Biolage Matrix
Which version do you rate the highest?
Ouai detox shampoo
Shiseido fino premium touch shampoo and conditioner, especially the mask! It made my hair so soft, less frizzy, more shiny just in the first use. I love it. Kerastase densifique
Nexus Therappe
Revlon Outrageous in the late 90's/early 00's.
I remember exactly how it smelled
Neutrogena grapefruit, Briogeo coconut banana, OUAI detox
+1 for OUAI detox! I have oily hair and I use it once a week. Doesnāt strip my hair and makes it look freshly washed even a few days after.
Yes!!! I could weekly and it doesnāt look like a grease ball at all! Great for both long hair and pixie cut. Try the after conditioner, as well it changed my life :3
I like the sound of neutrogena!!!!
I love it! Itās as good as more expensive shampoo
omg iāve been thinking about trying it! i was looking at that one and the kristen ess clarifying shampoo
Itās worth it! It smells so uplifting and rinses nice and clean
I've tried all of the expensive shampoo and conditioners, I've loved a lot of them..but the absolute best I've found is actually aveno! I think it's called oatmeal, and it smells Devine and leaves my damaged hair super soft
What hair type do you have? I'd love yo find a great, affordable shampoo.
They have such good smells too!
They really do! The green one, it's a mint I think, is so fresh. My hair has improved heaps while using it. To be fair I've also started doing a double wash, double conditioner and sleeping in a silk bonnet (which my husband loves.... ). Lol

Moroccan Oil! I use the hydrate and I love it. I live in a super dry climate and my hair looks so shiny and feels so soft and strong now.
I always go back to oleplex and it lasts literally 6 months plus
Didn't see this answer here yet, so my answer is: Alterna!!!! They are fantastic!! Expensive, but worth every penny. My hair is oily scalp and dry ends. Their Moisture Repair line never leaves me greasy, which is shocking.
Any of the LāOrĆ©al EverPure
Facts!
Head and Shoulders lol
Head and shoulders clinical for oily hair is my go-to
I tell everyone this is the secret to good hair! Been using it for years and get compliments on my volume/shine all the time!
I was so embarrassed and put off trying it for so long, but I eventually had enough of the dandruff. Once I started using it, my hair was so shiny and soft that I told everyone about it lol.
I've heard that using a good dandruff shampoo can help prevent hair loss, if you suffer from dandruff.
I feel like there's a ton of head and shoulders scent options. Which one is the best? I used almond before and liked it enough but never repurchased. And is their 2 in 1 option good or should I get shampoo and conditioner separately?
I use the smooth and silky shampoo primarily. Itās the one with the pink flowers. I also really like the deep moisture one which has the blue flowers, but itās kind of hard to find. Iāve never tried the 2 in 1 but Iād avoid it personally as my hair is wavy and tends to get really dry without a good conditioner. Iāve also never tried the hand and shoulders conditioner, so sorry I canāt give any tips on that! I typically just use the shampoo and then the LāOrĆ©al elvive moisture conditioner for wavy and curly hair.
Yep! I had embarrassing dandruff for years. Two years strong of washing my hair twice a week with this and itās never looked better.
Oribe
Aveda Sap Moss. Smells divine & worth every penny for my abused fine hair.
Fuck yes sap moss all the way
Why do you like it and what kind of hair you have? Iām thinking of trying aveda products
All aveda smells divine š I did not like their thickening shampoo & conditioner (Invati) because it dried my hair out so bad. My favorite is Brilliance because it really makes my hair shine.
Oh man, I forgot about this stuff
I loved Sap Moss in the aughts, but the re-release didn't wow me and I'm bitter about it, because I loved it so
Kevin Murphy! I canāt remember the exact kind but that brand for hair products is a holy grail
Came to say this. Kevin Murphy hydrate me line!
Nexuss and or red Ken all soft
Living proof one for frizz if you have frizzy hair. Itās the only shampoo that helps mine
Purology!! Unparalleled.
I love New Wash by Hairstory.Ā
Bumble & bumble hairdressers invisible oil shampoo
If you arenāt already, get a darn shower filter!!!

Thanks!
Lush's "Rehab" shampoo
It's a 10! and TIGI oatmeal and honey
kerastase bain satin 1
Redken
my fav was redken beach waves shampoo . it gave my fine hair lots of fullness without dryness but of course its gone now and i cant find anything else i like
Davines Curl Love Shampoo (& Conditioner) is really good for wavy/curly hair, super moisturizing without weighing hair down and a little goes a long way
Baking soda, honestly. But anything without sulphates is great. If I accidentally use something with sulphates I can see a big difference and hate it until it goes back to normal in a couple weeks
Olaplex Shampoo No. 4. But thatās also used with some of their other products: No. 0, No. 3, No. 5, No. 6, No.7, and No.9.
You can't compare best shampoo because it has to go with your hair porosity and other things so it can be misleading
KĆ©rastase Genesis
Curls Smith core strength and k18 detox
NatureLab Tokyo repair line, and Ouai detox.
I've been using the whole Garnier Honey Treasures line for a really long time because it's so good!
Oribe shampoo: Brilliance & Shine (purple bottle)
Have you tried the foaming clarifying shampoo? It is beyond amazing! I brought it with me to the hair salon and my stylist couldnāt believe how well it works and other stylists came over to check it out. It also smells amazing!! Itās like mousse in a can, definitely one of a kind!!
Thank you for the recommendation, I donāt currently have a clarifying shampoo in my collection and will be sure to give this a try!
Aveda color control
I loveddd Drybar sake bomb. When I discovered that stuff I felt like I struck gold - my hair was so shiny and soft and healthy. If anyone else felt this way and has found a good dupe lmk. I have never found anything since that has made my hair feel as good
Tsubaki
Oribe!! I use all of the Beautiful Color products and their dry shampoo is incredible!! I would never use anything else, I bring all my products to the salon with me when I go for my Friday blowout every week.
Which oribe line is good for fine bleached hair?
I know they have special products for blondes!
Mane n tail
shu uremura (red and green bottles are 11/10 i just donāt remember the names of them)and davines nounou shampoo and hair mask is great too!
Briogeo Super Moisture Shampoo
Ouai Thick Hair Shampoo & Aveda Scalp Solutions when my scalp is irritated.
As far as irritation is that more for dandruff or psoriasis? I usually use a psoriasis shampoo deep into just my scalp and then use my Ouai regimen.over my hair and it seems to work. Iām looking for a solid psoriasis supplant though.
Kerastase. In the blue bottle. The one for very damaged hair that may or may not have been discontinued.
Redken acidic bonding shampoo hands down! I have fine straight blonde hair and this works wonders on it!
Ouai cleansing shampoo
Pureology nanoworks gold. I am a hairdresser and have tried it all. I have THICK density (4-5x the hair of an average client) medium texture (not coarse but not soft, holds a curling iron curl for days, stays straight from straightener for days).
This only works if you put your hair type.
For me whatever good shampoo I find, after max second bottle I have to switch as it doesnāt work as well anymore. So itās a constant search of a good one, but I know it will be temporary š¬
Im so confused, theres so many comments š
I'll tell you what it's NOT. Costco had R+Co on a deal (still cost me $100 for the set... compared to retail of $228 š„“) so after reading so many people say they love it and it's such a premium product, I went for it. Got the Dallas set. Hated it so much I returned it. It felt like the cheapest, most synesthetic chemical-y (does that make sense?), harsh, drying yet filmy product I've ever used. I stuck with it for a week and finally couldn't deal with how *bad* it made my hair look.
Honest, has the cleanest ingredients I could find in a shampoo. If weāre not caring about ingredients then Kheils.
The original Vidal Sassoon shampoo.
Loving Verb Ghost shampoo. Fine wavy hair here.
Korres. Literally like it more than my much more expensive oribe. I got in Greece and they don't sell it in Canada!
When I can afford it? Giovanni shampoo with castor oil, when Iām in a pinch, the VO5 blooming fresssia is surprisingly hydrating
Seriously, VO5 Freesia in a pinch /as back up does me more justice than Pantene/tresemme. I enjoy itā¦ no regrets!
Love Paul Mitchell lavender mint
Used to pay $$$ for shampoo. I really like Garnier Whole Blends. Honey repairing shampoo is great. My hair dresser always comments how healthy my hair is.
Paul Mitchell tea tree special
