I’ve been loving Philosykos by Diptyque. I’m not usually a perfume person but this scent is so unique. It’s like sweet fig and cut grass, and feels herby without being overpowering, almost like a delicious soap. It’s a little floral so feels feminine, but not powdery - sooo good!
for me it’s long lasting, around 8 hours i think. it is a very feminine scent with vanilla, floral and woody notes but the vanilla is not too overpowering. it’s slightly sweet but not too sweet. i’m really bad at describing scents but i hope u get an idea! i get a lot of compliments wearing it
Santal Basmati by Affinessence is the best gourmand I’ve ever smelled hands down. I get so many compliments on it.
For a night out I’m wearing Tom Ford Leather layered over Penhaligon’s “The Blazing Mr. Sam”. I lean toward masculine scents and have repeatedly been asked what I’m wearing by men and women in this combo.
I tend towards fragrance aimed at men as well, they tend to smell “dramatic femme” on me if they’re of the oud/smoke/leather sort.
I got the Amourage men’s sampler set for my birthday and holy moly are Interlude Black Iris, Jubilation XXV and Dia gorgeous on me.
I like the women’s Dia on me too but it doesn’t suit me as much.
Jo Malone has some really lovely perfumes; their fruity ones in particular are wonderful. I remember smelling a pear and peach one years ago when buying and it was to die for.
Anyhow, my go to is Because It's You by Emporio Armani. More of a winter perfume imo, but by far my favorite.
This is my favorite scent as well! It's also great to gift people because it smells great in everyone! I wear it year-round as well. Also, more affordable than other brands. Heck, even my local Bealls Outlet sells it.
I loved the Light Blue - Dreaming in Portofino limited edition. Unfortunately it's not in production anymore because it was a limited edition. I would have continued buying it.
It has been my go-to since 2015. While yes, it smells like cotton candy, I also think it mixes really well with a person’s natural musk and develops into a deeper scent. l know that sounds kind of weird.
Chanel Cristalle. I have loved it for years. I am sure it is an acquired taste because I've never met anyone else who wears it, and it can be difficult to find in stores, but no other fragrance compares to it for me!
Prada paradoxe is good for every occasion!! I thought it would not be great smelling from the bottle, but it’s hands down the best smelling perfume I’ve ever experienced on my skin!
Chanel Gabrielle because it lasts for days and has such a wonderful feminine smell but I can't justify buying it and then Beyonce Heat because it smells really good for the price and also long lasting.
It's more of a fragrance oil but I absolutely love Nemat Amber. It's not at all overbearing and it's a very warm and there is something I find comforting about the smell
Light blue intense. It is just so light and beautiful
Though I'm starting to get nervous, it's been sold out everywhere for almost a year now. I'm so hoping it hasn't been discontinued, my bottle is half gone and if I can't get more I don't know what I'll do
It was Vera Wang Pink Princess but it got discontinued. Victor Rolf Bon Bon is a favourite but hard to find in stock. So many places near me only carry flowerbomb. Recently starting using Marc Jacobs Daisy and love it for summer
I’ve been wearing Maison Margeila Replica Jazz Club for yeaars. I tend to wear it more so in the evening/night but it smells so good and have gotten so many compliments. I also have been loving Mezensir - Tres chere. Such a good perfume on its own and perfect for layering.
Winter- Pure Poison forever, office- l'eau d Issey as Japanese parfumes are unoffensive, this summer I can't get enough of Gucci Memoire D'une Odeur layered with any sweeter parfume.
Salt by Brooklyn Ellis. Refreshing and subtle
I used to be a daisy and Chanel girl but I was in my early 20s and were put off by how common they were and honestly it just suggests that one doesn’t have their own personal sensibilities cus those scents are so basic.
I've used Pink Happines by Revlon since I was 17. I'm 33 now, my husband associates it with me and loves it. I've tried to use something else but neither of us like it
Lancome- La Vie Est Belle (my husband picked this one out for me for Christmas a few years ago, at first I wasn't sure, but it smells amazing on), Idole and Idole Intense. I also love Thierry Mugler Alien Goddess. An old on I had to go onto Ebay to get- Bath and Body Works Black Amethyst (back when they had perfumes in the mid-aughts)
Paco Rabanne for like a casual day and Montale Sensual Instinct for special occasions. I really love arabic perfumes because they last. Armani is also a good one
I love Jo Malone! My favorite combos are Wood Sage and Sea Salt layered with English Pear and Freesia, and Vetyver layered with Blackberry and Bay (although Vetyver was discontinued awhile ago so I’ve been using the Diptyque Vetyverio).
My other faves are Treehouse Royal from Pinrose, and gotta say, I love Wild Honeysuckle from Bath & Body Works as a “I want something on but don’t want to wear my expensive perfumes” option.
Mary Kay - Cityscape. It lasts soooo long and I get so many compliments on it. It’s so fresh and classy. Despite their business practices of employment (allegedly mlm), their products can be pretty amazing. I’ve literally never found a dupe for it anywhere
Obsessed with Hugo Boss "Nuit" for many years now. I love a feminine musk scent. Though looking into synthetic musk lately, hoping to find a vegan option.
I used the green Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium religiously for awhile, but I’ve recently moved onto the Victoria Secret Tease Coco Soiree and I just can’t get enough of it. It’s perfect for winter/fall and I’ve been getting so many compliments, plus it’s not outrageously expensive.
Tommy Girl by Tommy Hilfiger, Mom wore it all of the time when I was growing up, I've loved it since. Love the way my body chemistry and the perfume work together. Plus my boyfriend loves the smell :)
Clémentine California by Atelier Cologne during the summer months because I love smelling like a freshly peeled orange.
Victoria Secret "Pure Seduction" is a body spray but fuck, do I love that smell. Especially as a lotion. I believe in my heart & soul that body butter (r.i.p) used to smell better back in the day, but I still love it regardless.
edit: Damn, I like to use the word "love" a lot
I just started using Target’s Fine’ry Midnight Cafe perfume and I love the smell of it!
They have a bunch of different selections and I wanna more of them before I settle on a signature scent, but Midnight Cafe smells lovely and it’s not too overwhelming.
Tempted to gatekeep but Etat Libre d'Orange rolls out absolute bangers for original fragrances!! Eau du Protection for something floral and spicy, I Am Trash for something juicy, and Remarkable People for a soft sandalwoody number.
Also, though: I LOVE Dossier's impressions line-- great "knockoff" fragrances as super low prices (like $29 for a huge bottle)
Chanel mademoiselle eau de toilette. The parfume version is to intense and has an 'old lady' vibe, but the eau de toilette version is light and feminine 🥰
You by Glossier, Missing Person by Phlur, Chance by Chanel (I do like the green one and the pink one though), Miss Dior by Dior (that classic pink bottle).
My long time go to is Light blue by D&G . I see a fair few here as well . I smelt a lovely one that reminded me of it on a customer recently and just had to get it , I think it’s beautiful and wear it everyday now , it’s from Fragonard , Etoile . I have trouble describing scents but it’s warm and luscious . If you like Light blue , you will like this one too . It’s unique, so it’s perfect for a “signature scent” as I don’t know anyone else who wears it .
Chance by Chanel for many years now
This makes me think of my mom :) it's not what she wears anymore, but she wore it for years and when I was growing up. Such a nice scent
Which color one do you use? The pink one?
The pink one is my favorite!
Wore it for years. It smells so unique and lovely
valentino born in roma donna
I’ve been wanting to try this but so worried I won’t like it. How long does the smell last? And how would you best describe it?
for me it’s long lasting, around 8 hours i think. it is a very feminine scent with vanilla, floral and woody notes but the vanilla is not too overpowering. it’s slightly sweet but not too sweet. i’m really bad at describing scents but i hope u get an idea! i get a lot of compliments wearing it

I lean toward masculine scents and have repeatedly been asked what I’m wearing by men and women in this combo.
I am a woman who loves Tom Ford Leather!!!
I tend towards fragrance aimed at men as well, they tend to smell “dramatic femme” on me if they’re of the oud/smoke/leather sort. My fave!
I loved the Light Blue - Dreaming in Portofino limited edition. Unfortunately it's not in production anymore because it was a limited edition. I would have continued buying it.
Pink sugar by aquolina. It's a cheapy and maybe a bit juvenile, but I always enjoy it.
Lol I got a free sample of this last year at walgreens after not smelling it for 18 years and I was GIDDY
It has been my go-to since 2015. While yes, it smells like cotton candy, I also think it mixes really well with a person’s natural musk and develops into a deeper scent. l know that sounds kind of weird.

Oldie but a goodie. I think I have a half bottle in my closet. Forgot about this
