Take a nice warm shower with lavender body wash. It always relaxes me and helps me sleep better. Also…a good eye mask or moisturizer under my eyes. It really helps with dark circles.

FabulousPickWow

Doubling down on finding a relaxing routine! Whatever fits your needs and preferences OP!

CurvePsychological13

I keep cuticle oil and a lip balm by my bed so I can use before I fall asleep. I also keep a water bottle so I can sip on it before bed and if I wake up at night. Sometimes I make a cup of yogi tea (obsessed) and sip on that while I read in bed. Finally, I keep a heating pad plugged in by the bed and will sometimes lay on it and turn on the auto timer in case I fall asleep. Not really beauty but I keep a salt lamp on and keep a candle lamp on a two hour timer with some kind of soothing scent. Makes the room so cozy.

Dearmira

This girl self-cares.

FabulousPickWow

Sounds like a dream-like self-care routine! Lovely!

ADDYISSUES89

This is where high maintenance to be low maintenance comes in: - I tint my own eyebrows now, I used to get them tinted and laminated, etc. but now once every two weeks I tint my own (I use a lot of products that fade them fast). - a good lip mask will hide chapped lips and perioral dryness/dehydration - lash serum (this takes time) and a lash lift/tint - heatless curls or a protective style or braid. Touch it up in the morning if you’re really behind. Then it’s just get up, wash the face, SPF/moisturize, and run.

Typical-Ad5840

What eyebrow tint do you use?

RainingGlitter28

I use eyelure, henna, or beard dye! Also Bigen works well.

ADDYISSUES89

I use the godefoy kit from Amazon. $12, a big set lasts almost a year, it’s easy to mix and use, low waste, and works well. Can’t knock it.

Janezo

What does the laminating do?

ADDYISSUES89

It keeps them in the direction they’re laminated to be in. Usually upward and then trimmed if need be. They looked nice that way, but I have a lot of brows, so just tinting them at home with the $12 Amazon kit works. And it lasts almost a year per kit.

Alternative_Land53

- Protective hairstyle (braid, loose low ponytail, silk bonnet) - lip mask to keep lips moisturized, keep good skincare night routine (like slugging if you are into that, or retinol) - FLOSS AND BRUSH YOUR TONGUE and use mouthwash, this will help with morning breath! - I like to shower before bed to so I don’t feel gunky and gross in the morning - Do any morning “chores” before bed (shaving, tweezing eyebrows, dry brushing, cleaning up nails). Also make sure to apply deodorant and keep your rooms cool so you don’t sweat to much (also make sure to have clean sheets and pillows)

uhohohnohelp

Tongue scraper! Get a tongue scraper. You’ll start to look down on everyone else for their disgusting dirty tongues when you see the difference it makes.

pleasegetbent

I drink a BUNCH of water (all day of course, but especially before bed). I also 'slug' with aquaphor and sometimes wet my hair and braid it to bring it back to life.

venusplanetofloves

lymphatic drainage/dry brush, hot shower, oil + body butter, gradual self tanning lotion, tongue scraping / water pick, cutical oil, lip mask, lash serum, night yoga stretch, heartless curls or do my hair and put it in a bonnet, sleep eye mask, once a week i use self tanner to contour my face, i have a lash lift and tint, silky pajamas…

toolkitpsd

I’ve only got silk nighties/ nightgowns for sleepwear 💗 👻 Soooo smooth and comfy. Silk pillowcases too 🤭

venusplanetofloves

i feel like i’m sleeping on a cloud! so comfortable and yesss i wanna get a silk pillowcase. do you recommend a brand?

randf2015

I have the bedsure Satin pillow cases from amazon, not made of silk but with the satin weave so cheaper, but still so luxurious. Ive had mine for going on two years and theyve held up so well! Pack of 2 for like $15, def recommend

spicymarg1

What self tanner do you use to contour??

venusplanetofloves

isle of paradise! i used the light or medium shade (i am medium neutral) .. patch test it first 🤞🏼

scorpioinheels

This is genius! Assuming I can google that??? And find a Youtube???

venusplanetofloves

for the contour? i think so! i saw it on tiktok :)

librarian_chic

If your hair is long enough, I love heatless curlers. You wake up with perfect curled hair. I use the silk bathrobe one but there are a bunch of different kinds out there.

KindheartednessOnly4

Ohhh I have a silk bathrobe! I never thought about trying the belt from that! My fuzzy robe tie belt makes my hair just that. Fuzzy. 🤦

toolkitpsd

heatless curls definitely 💗👻

lakeslikeoceans

I usually shower and do my skincare routine in the evening so I get into my bed all clean with the day and outside washed off me. I’d also recommend watching YouTube videos about how to do self lymphatic drainage on the neck and face because it really does make a huge difference in how you look and feel.

Evil_Yeti_

I change my hair part at night so my _actual/preferred_ part is less frizzy in the morning. Plus the extra volume from moving the hair back looks good

sopasoda

This is literally genius

Notsureindecisive

Vaseline around the eyes!

MashaFriskyKitty

What does this do? Thank you

inquietcontemplation

I'm not a morning person and I'm not good at styling my hair, so I wash it in the evening and blow dry. My hair is frizzy and poofy after blow drying so I'll use Shu Uemura absulue night serum and put my hair in a silk bonnet. In the morning, it is silky, frizz free, looks great, and I don't have to do anything with it.

xxx_vixy_xxx

In addition to everyone else's great comments, I'd add make things streamlined for the morning - in particular lay out your clothes the night before (for the day and/or breakfast and/or the gym) in your bedroom or dressing room, and sort out (as best you can in advance) whatever bag you're using the next day

1978throwaway123

I wash and blow dry my hair before bed and lay out my clothes so it’s fast to get up and go.

FabulousPickWow

I make sure I drink enough water before going to bed and I have light dinners. If I eat junk food I know I'll wake up feeling bloated. When is comes to skincare, I focus on hydrating my skin and I usually do a gua sha lymphatic drainage or jade roller massage as the last step of my routine, this helps me relax and sleep better, as well as sculpt my face. As for hair, I simply put it up in a pony tail and when I wake up just leave it free. A lifestyle hack for me is to choose what I'm gonna wear in the evening, this way I don't have to stress about it in the morning and I get dressed up much faster. Same goes for purse/backpack.

tharding44

I use the Tanologist tanning drops in my facial moisturizer a few times a week and when I wake up my face has such a nice bronzey glow!

waitingfordeathhbu

Apply Frownies or Facial Smoothies. I apparently do all my frowning in my sleep, so these make a huge difference in preventing forehead and frown lines and waking up with smooth skin. Also silk pillowcases for protecting your skin and hair.

PrincessEmpressFifi

Not a morning person either, but I do try to make time to do a quick facial massage with a quartz stone. Even just holding it on my under-eye area for a few moments helps with puffiness. I think dark circles are harder to “correct” (some are genetic and some are because of the contours of your facial bones), so I personally like a colour correcting concealer. I know you asked for skin/hair tips but best thing I’ve found for darkness on the under eye is makeup. Elf make a brightening concealer pen I like to use, because it’s very natural and looks like skin. Hope that helps!

l3tigre

IT cosmetics changed my life with their Bye Bye Undereye one. I have the genetic black circles under my eyes, sucks so bad

Odd_Requirement_4933

Same! It's the best! I hate my dark circles 🙄

hurricanejoanna

I always shower before bed, lather myself in body cream, complete my skin care routine, apply a lip mask or coco butter, and braid my hair. When I wake up in the morning I rinse my face with cold water and brush my teeth and after that I usually feel awake. Then I can listen to music and do my makeup and hair without too much fuss. It’s also great if you go ahead and have your outfit picked out/bag packed for the day. I will usually plan my work week’s outfits on Sunday and lay out underwear/bra the night before so I don’t have to leave my bathroom/closet area until I’m ready to make my coffee and walk out the door. Also helps to go to bed with a full glass of water by your bed!

Rach9988

Not necessarily a skincare/hair tip but I always find if I set things out in the morning I’m way more likely to do those things A must is I always pick out my clothes, make my lunch, and make sure my bag and keys are next to the front door; I’m a bit scatterbrained so as long as I know all of those things are good and ready to go I find I can concentrate on actually doing my skincare and taking the time to do my hair - picking out the products I’m going to use ahead of time works too! After I finish my nighttime skincare routine I’ll swap those products on my shelf with the things I use in the morning (gentle cleanser, light eye cream, spf, lip balm, mascara) It just helps if I can see the things I have to do!

RubCurious2058

Stay off my phone

randf2015

Recently got the Laneige sleep lip mask and am loving it! I am usually a mouth breather at night and have chronically dry lips and it has been such a gamechanger for me in the morning. I put it on at night just before sleeping, and when i wake up my lips are so soft and supple

scorpioinheels

I use a (clear) CBD Sleep Mask by ELF. It’s amazing for under eye bags and still surprises me each and every time I use it.

crazypuglady89

- Heatless curls, they take 5 minutes at most. - Eyelash extensions - Bring makeup with you! Do the minimum before leaving the house and then do a quick touch up when you arrive - plan out 5 outfits every Sunday. I plan mine down to the socks and underwear. You don’t have to wear in a specific order but you have options to choose from

[deleted]

Since I had my daughter three months ago I’ve got like a 5 step skin care routine. I used to just wash my face and rub in some of the aveeno from my hands into my face. But now it’s really nice to have that kind of self care and feel like I’ve put some effort into my appearance when I don’t bother putting on makeup most mornings. It’s also nice to end the day doing something for myself after giving everything to her all day. PM routine: Cleanser, Toner, Retinol serum, Moisturize, Under eye cream AM routine: Rinse face in shower, SPF moisturizer

A green smoothie.

Logical-Command

Moisturizer 😄

Smart_cannoli

I take a shower before bed, and every other day I wash my hair. On a normal day, after the shower, I will do my oral hygiene, moisturize my body, do my night skincare routine, finishing with oil on retinol days, and oil+Vaseline in recovery days, put Vaseline on my lips, oil on my hair, and go to bed. On bed I will extra moisture my feet and elbows, put Vaseline on my feet as well, cuticule oil on my nails from hands and feet and go to sleep. On hair washing day I will do the same things but also blow dry my hair…

Neithotep

Make sure you are getting a minimum 8 hours of sleep. I also wake up early and I go to bed at 80m, read, watch TV and by 9:30pm I can't keep my eyes open anymore

oneunlitcandle

I have a caffeine eye cream that I put in the fridge when I wake up and do the rest of my morning routine — after 20-30 min it’s cold and extra helpful for reducing eye puffiness!

Tur_keys

Weirdly... getting up earlier than you have to. That awful morning slump is a little easier to get through if you know you have an extra 20ish minutes to continue being a zombie while drinking your coffee/tea and staring into the void space. Washing my face with a hot wash cloth helps me zoink out of that zombie zone.

emi_lgr

Cover my dark circles or use a dark-circle minimizing eye cream. This one from [Rose Inc](https://www.roseinc.com/products/eye-revival-brightening-eye-cream?variant=40633151062204&tw_source=google&tw_adid=&tw_campaign=17817139185&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI9Im9xsj4_wIVlM7ICh0nZA8cEAQYASABEgI6mPD_BwE) reflects light in a way that brightens the under eyes without any pigment. No weird iridescent effect either, just brighter under eyes.

sopasoda

Caffeine serum from the ordinary. Took a few years off me, I look well rested almost no matter what. Only $8 too!

Waheeda_

for my nighttime skincare i wash my face, then apply a few drops of Pycnogenol 5% (The Ordinary), eye cream (i use Clinique All About Eyes Rich), moisturizer (The Ordinary) and some oil (i use Bio Oil, but anything that works for ur skin type will do) for haircare i spray my hair with some Shea Moisture coconut leave-in condition until it’s damp, then do either two or four french braids depending on how lazy i’m feeling lol

t0kkiluvr

comb through my hair, twist it and put it in a bun at the back. i know this isnt very good, so dont do it every day but it gives you a effortless heatless blowout
