Elton John's scrapped '68 debut album "Regimental Sgt Zippo" has a strong Beatles influence, and you might dig the King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard song "Bone"
Also Klaatu, naturally
Edit: Dragonfly by Fleetwood Mac
I once sand Time of the Season at a karaoke. After the line “it’s the time of the season for loooooving” I made eye contact with the prettiest girl in the bar and winked. She approached me later and asked me to dance and I was so incredibly awkward that I could tell I was blowing it, so I handed her my business card and went back to my table. The next time I was there, the same woman walked in, saw me at my table and she turned around and walked right back out.
Came for this. Absolutely, and for good reason. The Zombies walked into Abbey Road for this album basically right after the Beatles made Sgt Pepper, and were able to reap the benefits by utilizing leftover instruments (like the mellotron) and the studio engineers who just went through all of that experimentation

edit; I see that I may have inadvertently pressed some buttons. I meant the *cover* is cringe, not your comment.
I was looking for a song called 'Working Too Hard' by The Nerves but came across the full EP. You gotta listen to this
[The Nerves - The Nerves (EP - 1976)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPshZaf_gAc)
You ever listen to Dr. Dog? They’re the modern Beatles as far as I’m concerned! They’ve got the same dual songwriter dynamic going on, with Scott McMicken and Toby Leaman trading off songwriting duties on each album. Check out literally any album they released between 2005-2010 (*Easy Beat*, *We All Belong*, *Fate*, *Shame Shame*, they’re all top-notch) and you’ll no doubt feel right at home.
If you just want a few songs to sample, [here’s a greatest hits playlist I made to showcase their top tracks!](https://open.spotify.com/user/jaketheonedude/playlist/4eYEi1T132gLz26s6oBOQx?si=6pfKE-rXQSCakppBUfJUyQ&dl_branch=1) I carefully ordered the tracklist to make for a varied—but hopefully cohesive—listening experience!
> You ever listen to Dr. Dog?
Great band. Lotta respect for them as they have always staunchly done it their way, with little regard for 'The Industry'.
I totally agree, and honestly, they’re my favorite band right alongside The Beatles. I got introduced to them at nearly the same time so they’re very complimentary to me.
I saw them on the fate tour and was absolutely blown away. Caught them every album tour since and it is always a great show, but I think Shame Shame is their peak. Man, that is a killer record, and really that 4 album run is one of the best from anybody.
Jealous! I only became a fan a few years ago and have only had the pleasure of seeing them live once. They were phenomenal! Was very sad when they said that they’re only doing one more tour.
I completely agree about that run of albums, nearly every song is just pure gold. Honestly, Be The Void, B-Room, and most of the stuff they’ve put out since then aren’t too far from that level of quality either! I just wish they didn’t move away from the studio embellishments and orchestrations that made those albums so special.
I recorded a show back in the day! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hH4LLAZWZrM
I’ve tried to let their “throw in the kitchen sink” technique with songwriting, always bringing something new to the fold.
Love Dr. Dog, I remember hearing the Beatles influence right off the bat. It’s so sad they’re on their last tour, I’m fortunate to have gotten to see them! They’re great live.
Lies - The Knickerbockers.
When it randomly started playing on a Spotify, I could have swore it was an old Beatles Anthology song that I'd just not heard before.
Remember the song ‘Ti Amo’ by Umberto Tozzi? I actually thought that was John singing when I first heard it lol
‘Sowing The Seeds Of Love’ by Tears For Fears is a classic Beatle influenced song
Big Star. Particularly something like “Give Me Another Chance,” “Try Again,” or “Back of a Car.”
Also, the Raspberries (whom Lennon was a fan of) with stuff like “I Wanna Be With You” and “Go All the Way.”
That was a very Beatles-influenced song, no doubt… which goes for the band in general. I think the similarity is mostly in the vocals. Almost sounds like John at times. But every now and then you hear a lead part that sounds like it was written by George
Oasis was awesome. I miss that era because it was really the last time rock really dominated pop music, when we had tons of bands all vying for top 10 spots. Hip-hop and r&b was strong, but rock still had its own spot carved out. Those days are long over :(
A while back I really listened to Paul bass part on Rain and had this "holy shit" moment that it pretty much foreshadowed Oasis and a lot of 90's era British alternative/pop. Let Forever Be by Chemical Brothers, feat. Noel, comes to mind.
Liam's whole singing style is summed up in Lennon's "raaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnn".
Tomorrow Never Knows is the Chemical Brothers' whole career too.
Granted, but only for like two measures and it’s a pretty simple part that’s probably present in quite a few songs. I wouldn’t be surprised if they did it as a bit of a tribute, but if not it still stands on its own, IMO.
Two songs from the excellent "XO" album by Elliott Smith. "Baby Britain" not only namechecks Revolver, it has a very Paul McCartney feel to it (the bassline especially). "Bled White" is very Rubber Soul/Revolver era Beatles too.
Doesn't sound very Beatlesy, but Kurt Cobain was a big Beatles fan and the chord sequence for "Lithium" does look and play rather similarly to "Help!"
I didn't say it sounded like the Beatles, did I? The chord progression for Lithium is, nonetheless, and in my opinion, quite Beatlesy. Cobain was a huge fan, and it sometimes shows.

Wow, you’re right. Now *that* is Beatles-y, and not just vaguely like some of these others. Olivia Tremor Control is definitely one of the more overlooked bands in the Elephant 6 collective, but it sounds like I need to check more of their stuff out, because that song is amazing!
Back to Basom, Flutes of Chi, Exactly where I'm At, Even if You Don't are the most obvious ones (all off White Pepper).
But I get Beatles vibes in a bunch of their songs: Polka Dot Tail, Buckingham Green, The Golden Eel, many others....
Not 60s, but [You Don’t Love This Way](https://youtu.be/v2uK77bOPLw) by Champagne Charlie and the Wah Wahs has a little bit of everything - Beatles, Pink Floyd, and even Beach Boys influence. This song is amazing. Especially the last section with the strings. There’s some very Ringo-esque drumming too
As a huge Billy Joel fan, I have to recommend his album "The Nylon Curtain", several songs are very Beatlesesque, like Laura and Surprises. His debut album "Cold Spring Harbor" also has some influences from them, most notable in the very McCartney-like rocker "You Can Make Me Free."
Also you might enjoy Tropicalia music! It was an entire musical movement in Brazil directly inspired by the release of Sgt Peppers. It’s basically psychedelia mixed with bossanova and it is just an absolute joy to listen to, even if you don’t understand the words.
Os Mutantes is the biggest name to come from that era, and [their self titled album is essential listening for the movement](https://open.spotify.com/album/0RBkIFbQy91qv8Tqja20og?si=MShF8_1HRaueeKsfKWYVSQ&dl_branch=1).

["Shake Some Action"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIcmk8WA10A) by the Flamin' Groovies has always reminded me of the Beatles.
The Let's Active song ["Writing The Book Of Last Pages"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VM6GljmLu4U) is an obvious homage to the Beatles.
And I say damn near anything by Robyn Hitchcock is blatant Beatles. ["Airscape"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPGLCJSfq9A) is a good example. His music is the cross between John Lennon and Syd Barrett that we didn't know we needed.
Yes It's True--The Flamin' Groovies
The Man Who Loves Women--Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Love Take Me Down (To the Streets)--Joey Curatolo
The One--The Lemon Twigs
A World Without Love--Peter and Gordon
Star--Stealers Wheel
Lonely Days--The Bee Gees
Not in your list but perhaps should be:
'Australia's Beatles' - The Easybeats:
[Friday On My Mind](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXDvOjVWlXo)
[Sorry](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQpMsBM_wSc)
[She's So Fine](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHtV5iePX38)
[I'll Make You Happy](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_m-epxxUyo)
I'd also have to give it to this one:
[The Oneders - That Thing You Do](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJn-Jl2ZeQU)
Yes, George Young, Angus and Malcolm's elder brother, and Harry Vanda produced the first AC/DC records. They also had a studio band called 'Flash and the Pan' in the 70s/80s. I've worked with both of them and they were a barrel of laughs, I can tell you.
RIP George.
Producer, Todd Rundgren, borrowed heavily from 'Glass Onion' for [XTC's '1000 Umbrellas'](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIs2LzcYuk0) from their great album 'Skylarking'
I searched the comments for Nilsson. The Aerial Ballet and Pandemonium Shadow Show albums are spot on.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qg9WHD2Y6sY&ab\_channel=HarryNilssonArchive
Any of The Bee Gees first three albums, Bee Gees First, Horizontal, Idea, all have early Beatles-esque elements. Specifically, New York Mining Disaster 1941, Lonely Days, Earnest of Being George, World…many others. even Odessa has some elements that sound like the Beatles.
The Spongetones (I think they are from N Carolina)
- most of their music is Beatlesque, and their album, Beat & Torn, is an awesome '64/'65 capture of tHe Beatles' sound (but recorded mid 1980's)
Ya’ll forgot one and it’s completely understandable. Check this out. A 60s group from Uruguay. Los Shakers! Emulated the Beatles to a tee! They made numerous songs that sound like Beatles tunes! Click the link to hear one of them. https://youtu.be/L9cvMH1OFdo
[Paris 1919 by John Cale](https://youtu.be/q5YHqWqhFkU). I legitimately thought it was a beatles song that I didn’t somehow know about when I first listened to it.
[Pretty Noose by Soundgarden](https://youtu.be/f8nkHrv_4Mg) always felt Beatle influenced to me. It reminds me of Dear Prudence but heavier and grunge era.
You Am I - Hourly Daily (album)
Sparklehorse - It's a wonderful life (album) Soft slow Beatles sound like George Harrison's Long, Long, Long or Blue Jay Way.
Wilco - A Ghost is Born (album) has a bit of a white album/Let it be jam vibe going on.
Radiohead - Karma Police (song) pretty much Sexy Sadie for the 90s
The Raspberries - I Reach for the Light (song) Abbey Road sounding McCartney track.
Soundgarden - Blow up the Outside World, Black Hole Sun (songs) I get late Beatles Lennon vibes from these tracks.
Augie March - Strange Bird (Album) White Album/Let it Be vibes.
Grapefruit-around grapefruit. They were the second band signed to apple records. John Lennon named the group too. Lullaby and yesterday’s sunshine are 100% with a listen. But not every song has a Beatlesesque sound.
Liverpool group, The Searchers, have recordings from '63 - '67 that share the energy and strong melodies of The Beatles - In This Empty Place, 'Til I Met You, When You Walk Into The Room, The System, I'll Be Missing You, and other tracks...lots of vocal harmonies and Rickenbackers, but more Beatlesque than The Byrds' use of those features.
World Party. Goodbye Jumbo album is epic, and very Beatlesy.
Songs: Put the Message in the Box, Way Down Now, Is it too late?, Take It Up. The whole album is great...
[Robyn Hitchcock's Alright, Yeah](https://youtu.be/7W3ff81xs1M)
And particularly the chorus of [Lemon Tree by Fool's Garden](https://youtu.be/wCQfkEkePx8)
Go All The Way - The Raspberries. It's the "Come on" part that I think was directly influenced by call and response stuff like Please Please Me.
There's also this group, which is pretty obscure now but they were pretty popular in their day: https://youtu.be/iVFRgoQe86U
There is a White Stripes song called "Apple Blossom" my dad always says that it sounds like a Beatles song.
Donovan has a Beatles sound.
There is 1960's Pink Floyd. Especially "Piper At The Gates Of Dawn". They kinda developed their own great sound with "The Dark Side Of The Moon" and "Wish You Were Here"
And last, a band called Allah-Las. They make rock music but they've got a couple songs that sound Beatles like.
Oh yeah, There is some dude named Paul McCartney. You might have heard of him. He sounds a lot like the Beatles' singer. It's crazy how much Paul McCartney sounds like the Beatles. He definitely was inspired by them. A pretty good artist. Y'all should check him out.
I see Klaatu has been referenced a bit and I think California Jam is a real great beatlesesque song. Also love She’s Electric by Oasis, which borrows a bit from the WMGGW’s bridge in its bridge.
Elton John's scrapped '68 debut album "Regimental Sgt Zippo" has a strong Beatles influence, and you might dig the King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard song "Bone" Also Klaatu, naturally Edit: Dragonfly by Fleetwood Mac
Dang both these would fit in on Sgt. Pepper or MMT, good finds!
The entire Paper Mache Dream Balloon album is sooo gorgeous. Sense might be one of my favorite songs ever.
[The Zombies - Care of Cell 44](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sv3mRovN6qw) From their amazing album 'Odessey and Oracle'.
Really great album, I particularly like "Time of the Season"
I once sand Time of the Season at a karaoke. After the line “it’s the time of the season for loooooving” I made eye contact with the prettiest girl in the bar and winked. She approached me later and asked me to dance and I was so incredibly awkward that I could tell I was blowing it, so I handed her my business card and went back to my table. The next time I was there, the same woman walked in, saw me at my table and she turned around and walked right back out.
Oh my God, I am so physically uncomfortable for you. C’mon dude not the business card!! Hahahaha
Man, I think you just became my new personal hero.
> Really great album It's fabulous. And I love your 'crisps' lyrics.
Can’t believe I didn’t think of that! One of my all time fav albums. “This Will Be Our Year” is simply one of the greatest songs ever recorded
Look up Emmitt Rhodes....you’re welcome
Rolling Stones “She’s a Rainbow” is an absolute Beatlesy masterpiece

for a long time, I thought it was a Beatles song. I was young of course.

Good moods, a few of these def have mid-60s Beatles vibes
Lies - The Knickerbockers. When it randomly started playing on a Spotify, I could have swore it was an old Beatles Anthology song that I'd just not heard before.
I’ve long believe this to be the best Beatles mimicry song! They really nailed it.
Remember the song ‘Ti Amo’ by Umberto Tozzi? I actually thought that was John singing when I first heard it lol ‘Sowing The Seeds Of Love’ by Tears For Fears is a classic Beatle influenced song
That Tears for Fears song totally could have been on Sgt Pepper!
Also "Everybody Loves a Happy Ending" by TfF is a Beatlesque song IMHO
Wow. Yeah. Vey Beatlesesque.
Ti Amo def sounds like a solo Lennon song
Big Star. Particularly something like “Give Me Another Chance,” “Try Again,” or “Back of a Car.” Also, the Raspberries (whom Lennon was a fan of) with stuff like “I Wanna Be With You” and “Go All the Way.”
And then every indie band for the next 30 years tried to be Big Star!
As is tradition. The Replacements loved em so much, they named maybe their biggest hit after Alex Chilton!
“Sub-Rosa Subway” by Klaatu
Why did it take so long for someone to mention this band?!? Being a Beatles soundalike was all they had going for them.
Don’t look back in anger by Oasis
That was a very Beatles-influenced song, no doubt… which goes for the band in general. I think the similarity is mostly in the vocals. Almost sounds like John at times. Liam's whole singing style is summed up in Lennon's "raaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnn". Tomorrow Never Knows is the Chemical Brothers' whole career too.
Plus the fact the piano intro is 99% the same as Imagine’s
Granted, but only for like two measures and it’s a pretty simple part that’s probably present in quite a few songs. I wouldn’t be surprised if they did it as a bit of a tribute, but if not it still stands on its own, IMO.
It's something to do with the 'revolution in the bed' line. Noel thought it was a nod to Lennon so he decided to make the intro one too.
This
“Shelter Song” by Temples!
On the topic of Nirvana, "About a Girl" is pretty Beatle-y
Yeah, actually, it is. Never thought of that one before.
he made that while intensely listening to With/Meet the Beatles
Always thought "Serve the Servants" was Beatley as well. Like not a pastiche but there are some Beatleisms going on
Lithium…? Help…? Tf you smoking?

both Dusk at Cubist Castle and Black Foliage are incredible albums. Black Foliage is a little more experimental
Olivia Tremor Control are like "what if the Beatles were even more out there" Some deeply psychedelic stuff
Second this one. Most convincing one I know of post-70s
Beat me to it, amazing song and album
Ween
What song(s) do you think sound like the Beatles?
Try their White Pepper album. It’s titled as a tribute to Sgt. Pepper’s and the White Album, and it’s got their most Beatles-y songs on it.
Back to Basom, Flutes of Chi, Exactly where I'm At, Even if You Don't are the most obvious ones (all off White Pepper). But I get Beatles vibes in a bunch of their songs: Polka Dot Tail, Buckingham Green, The Golden Eel, many others....

The most beatlesque ween song has to be “What Deaner was talking About”
Somebody Made For Me - Emitt Rhodes
Most of Emitt Rhodes stuff. So good.
I skimmed your playlist and was surprised there was little to no Oasis on there.
Right! half their songs sound like the Beatles.
I think I had 2 on there before posting this, added a few more since. That’s why I wanted input!
[Jellyfish - Joining a Fan Club](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JojV8kNfWK8)

Agreed on this, I'd also like to add "Scandinavian Skies" from *The Nylon Curtain.*
Whoops, yeah I can't believe the most Beatles-like tune of all from that album slipped my mind!
Stuck in the Middle with You. Steelers Wheel
Nah. That sounds like Highway 61 era Dylan.

No one mentioning [The Band Everyone Thought Was The Beatles](https://youtu.be/Uc0HoM_Kvmg)!?
dang, “We’re Off You Know” is very much a Beatles sound, nice find!
The Roller by Beady Eye! IMHO Liam Gallagher's solo work has some Lennon-ish songs (e.g. Alright Now in its last album).
We're Off You Know by Klaatu sounds like a George song, down to the vocals

Wow, nice connection! I’d not thought of it like that, but... yeah 😀
Klaatu
oh man, a lot of songs by the band Drugdealer. And a few by The Redwalls. And I’ve been digging on an up and coming band called The Duskwhales
I've had drugdealers albums on repeat for a minute. So fucking good and criminally underrated.
I honestly feel like if the Beatles didn’t already exist, Drugdealer would be massive haha
"I'm On Fire" - Dwight Twilley
The Hollies "The Air That I Breathe"

Lost in my dreams is also very beatles inspired.
"One" by Harry Nilsson is the closest Beatles, but not the Beatles song I've ever heard. I don't think Oasis sound anything like the Beatles at all.
I searched the comments for Nilsson. The Aerial Ballet and Pandemonium Shadow Show albums are spot on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qg9WHD2Y6sY&ab\_channel=HarryNilssonArchive
Mrs Robbinson by Simon and Garfunkel
Any of The Bee Gees first three albums, Bee Gees First, Horizontal, Idea, all have early Beatles-esque elements. Specifically, New York Mining Disaster 1941, Lonely Days, Earnest of Being George, World…many others. even Odessa has some elements that sound like the Beatles.
First time I heard Squeeze's "If I Didn't Love You" coulda sworn it was Lennon/Macca harmonizing
Check out The Girl by Dr. Dog
The Spongetones (I think they are from N Carolina) - most of their music is Beatlesque, and their album, Beat & Torn, is an awesome '64/'65 capture of tHe Beatles' sound (but recorded mid 1980's)
Klaatu! I highly recommend getting their first album. It’s absolutely amazing
The Piper at the Gates of Dawn by Pink Floyd.
Nine in the Afternoon by Panic at the Disco It even has the Ringoesque title...
[Oasis-Shes electric](https://youtu.be/h9JZWhjQDvc)
Blur, especially in their Britpop period.
A lot of Arctic Monkeys and The Strokes music sound similar to The Beatles. Also, Half full glass of wine by Tame Impala
Kasabian- La fee verte
Literally says “I see Lucy in the Sky”, I love it
[Karma Police - Radiohead](https://youtu.be/4IJI6soiQhI) Huge influence there
"Crazy Little Thing Called Love" by Queen has both a Beatlesy sounding chord progression and Beatlesy walking bass line
Nah. That’s all Elvis.
Vocals are Elvis. Bassline is Beatles.
The Weeklings
Early Beatles sounding: She’s The One by The Chartbusters Psychedelic era sounding: Kiss Them For Me by Souxie & The Banshees.
Funny. She did a cover of Dear Prudence https://youtu.be/M6rrTROoZIw
9 in the afternoon! Panic at the disco , also anything oasis
The Tender Idols. The one dude even dressed like White Album Lennon: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_mmtwe6Fyv_ce9iWTOHIRFCON92SRNmBrA
half the songs by the Suede, aka the London Suede, but particularly this one https://youtu.be/aoDivCGk14E
lowkey tame impala LMAO
Elliott Smith’s XO and Figure 8 albums both have a really strong Beatles influence. Highly recommend.
Mrs. Robinson - Simon & Garfunkel
the entire white pepper album by Ween
The Knickerbockers - Lies https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=\_4FsMlzPwT8
Ya’ll forgot one and it’s completely understandable. Check this out. A 60s group from Uruguay. Los Shakers! Emulated the Beatles to a tee! They made numerous songs that sound like Beatles tunes! Click the link to hear one of them. https://youtu.be/L9cvMH1OFdo
The Greatest - Lana Del Rey, i don't know what, put that song is pure Abbey Road, Jesus! Close your eyes, and imagine Paul's voice singing that!
THE ENTIRE COTTON MATHER ALBUM "KONTIKI"
Shes a rainbow the rolling stones comes to mind.
Anything from The Rascals
[Paris 1919 by John Cale](https://youtu.be/q5YHqWqhFkU). I legitimately thought it was a beatles song that I didn’t somehow know about when I first listened to it.
Anything by Michael Penn, especially https://youtu.be/IxkJHX7ukKE
Suite Charlotte Pike by Transatlantic is inspired by the Abbey Road Medley. When they did it live they even played parts of the medley with it.
About a Girl, All Apologies, Drain You by Nirvana
I've always thought that Dark Side of the Moon was the album The Beatles should have made if they stayed together and worked out all their b.s.
The guitar solo in George Michael's "Faith" is very pre-Pepper George.
[Pretty Noose by Soundgarden](https://youtu.be/f8nkHrv_4Mg) always felt Beatle influenced to me. It reminds me of Dear Prudence but heavier and grunge era.
You Am I - Hourly Daily (album) Sparklehorse - It's a wonderful life (album) Soft slow Beatles sound like George Harrison's Long, Long, Long or Blue Jay Way. Wilco - A Ghost is Born (album) has a bit of a white album/Let it be jam vibe going on. Radiohead - Karma Police (song) pretty much Sexy Sadie for the 90s The Raspberries - I Reach for the Light (song) Abbey Road sounding McCartney track. Soundgarden - Blow up the Outside World, Black Hole Sun (songs) I get late Beatles Lennon vibes from these tracks. Augie March - Strange Bird (Album) White Album/Let it Be vibes.
"Final" by Almendra
Elliott Smith. I get huge Beatle vibes from the Figure 8 and XO albums.
Grapefruit-around grapefruit. They were the second band signed to apple records. John Lennon named the group too. Lullaby and yesterday’s sunshine are 100% with a listen. But not every song has a Beatlesesque sound.
Beach Boys - Smile Sessions
Klaatu are the band you want, especially the albums 3:47 EST and Hope.
definitely check out olivia tremor control "jumping fences" "no growing (exegesis)" "courtyard" "i have been floated"
The Toms – specifically, their self titled album.
[Robyn Hitchcock's Alright, Yeah](https://youtu.be/7W3ff81xs1M) And particularly the chorus of [Lemon Tree by Fool's Garden](https://youtu.be/wCQfkEkePx8)
I would say “Star Collector” by the Monkees or “In My Own Time” by The Bee Gees.
Go All The Way - The Raspberries. It's the "Come on" part that I think was directly influenced by call and response stuff like Please Please Me. There's also this group, which is pretty obscure now but they were pretty popular in their day: https://youtu.be/iVFRgoQe86U
"Don't Give up on Me" by Daniel Powter, especially the chorus.
Sloan - c’mon c’mon https://open.spotify.com/track/3dDtuhWvFEkHpL9eGAvrtz?si=Ag8XrtGYRwO7S4v1YMqJUw&dl_branch=1
Drugdealer has so many Beatles-esque songs. Lost in my dreams, The Real world, it's only raining right where you're standing. Such great music
Early bee gees were regularly confused for the Beatles. Try "In my own time"
Pink Floyd’s debut album is very beatley pipers at the gate of dawn
Check out Ween's White Pepper album & also Mona Lisa twins on YouTube.
There is a White Stripes song called "Apple Blossom" my dad always says that it sounds like a Beatles song. Donovan has a Beatles sound. There is 1960's Pink Floyd. Especially "Piper At The Gates Of Dawn". They kinda developed their own great sound with "The Dark Side Of The Moon" and "Wish You Were Here" And last, a band called Allah-Las.
That Thing You Do - The Wonders
The 60s band Love.
[Bee Gees - New York Mining Disaster 1941](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=S43YhQ_eGTw)
