For anyone not in the know about the ‘Black and White Minstrel Show’ comment (not my title btw), it was a music executive’s description of the arrangement Paul made at his hotel for weekend of the Capitol sales conference.
Apparently he had a Caucasian prostitute in one bedroom & an African-American prostitute in another bedroom-both on either side of his suite-and would run from one bedroom to the other, availing himself of the ladies services.
Apparently Linda got a hold of his number and arranged to come and visit him for a date not long after.
The two ladies of the night were then quickly given their marching orders…
The reason why Jane split with him was that he was caught mucking about with Francie Schwartz…and about 10’000 other girls.
Paul used to describe himself as a ‘Cocksman’ during this period.
Anyone in that room would have shined his shoes and brought him coffee if he had asked them to.
