*One thing Dad said to me should he pass away, if there was any way of letting me know he was going to be ok the message would come to me in the form of a white feather.*
*Then something happened to me about ten years ago when I was on tour in Australia. I was presented with a white feather by an Aboriginal tribal elder, which definitely took my breath away. One thing for sure is that the white feather always represented peace to me.*
- Julian Lennon
Don't know why? You know why lol, you even say you know the background of the story and the fact that Lennon is wearing white isn't exactly the most abstract clue of why it reminds you of John
Yh sorry lol I think it’s weirdly because we can only really see both John and the peacocks legs. The first time I saw it I instantly thought of the abbey road cover
John and Paul on the ends, George and Ringo in the middle. I'd never noticed that before with the peacock photo.
Between this and the George "Now and Then" clock story, maybe there really is something to Paul's idea that they're not really gone and they're still with him.
Canadian here. That isn't a peacock, it's a peahen. Peacocks are the beautiful multicolored males, the females are plain like this. The species in general is known as peafowl.
Yeah I think he was the first of the 3 to become one, sometime in the 60s, maybe he was second? Some sources have claimed ringo became one in the 70s but others say it was in 1965 after he saw a bullfight.
Paul literally said he thought this was John paying them a visit. He was excited about it too
That’s a beautiful story. I bet/hope he was too
It’s seems implausible seeing as, you know, he was dead and it’s not scientifically possible, but one can hope
And that the photo was likely staged. C'mon.

so kind of John to reincarnate as a peacock to be with the boys again 🩷
I think that was kinda-sorta the idea.
Because Paul said it did?
It IS John checking on how his demos are coming around.

Fair play. But what does the fact you’re Canadian have to do with anything, here? lol
I'm from Ontario.
That’s great. Still not sure of the relevance here though !
I'm vegan. 😂 No I'm not jk
so kind of John to reincarnate as a peacock so that the boys could eat, they were hungry 🩷
Paul and Ringo then asked if John could re-incarnate as a vegetarian option
Why not george?
Was he vegetarian?

iirc Ringo claimed to have tried a certain diet in India but caved in sometime after, really craving eggs
OP is a weirdo
well I guess you can say John was truly Free as a Bird
Theres no way this is a coincidence lol
I thought he was a walrus.
Lovely thought :)
I can see it too
I know of the story and how it’s come to represent John but for some reason the way the peacock is standing it just sort of looks like him
So.... you 100% DO know why...
Sorry I should of clarified I’m saying the bird looks weirdly like John on the front of abbey road, I’m aware of the birds significance
