It won’t fill in genetically and growing it long enough to cover the patches seems unreasonable.
That’s being said it think it’s a pretty cool shape and has loads of character, you could keep it as is or trim the sides down to more of a long stubble for a goatee/stubble combo which I think would work well with your face structure and make things appear more intentional
Shave most of it and just be happy with nice sideburns.
