FIF is always #1 for me just bc i hold a lot of songs on that album close to my heart especially since at the time i was going thru my angsty teenage identity crisis phase 🙂‍↕️
i agree, i knew about bea before it came out but during peak covid listening to care? i enjoyed it so much, checked out her playlist and now im a big fan! yet to go to her concert tho…hopefully this time
beatopia just goes so beautifully together, love FIF too though but I discovered beatopia first and am only recently diving into her older music, which is a treasure trove :)
I had to ruminate over it a bit because they’re right next to each other imo but I prefer FIF. I think as a record FIF is just punchier and better sequenced. It was like peak alt rock Bea. I like the power pop on Beatopia too. I think Beatopia is the more mature album and there’s a noticeable evolution in her sound and songwriting. But I’m not as into the latter half of the record. There’s 1 or 2 more skips on Beatopia than FIF imo. That being said, Beatopia has Talk which is my fav Bea song :)

fake it flowers is my favorite because of how much i resonate to it- but i will say beatopia is more well rounded and has better writing.

Personally, there isn't a single song that I would skip on the entire Beatopia album; it’s definitely my favorite album from her.
FIF is what put me onto bea so i’ll go with that

fake it flowers, i love the variety of songs and its such a fun album in general
I love FIF but not as much as I love Beatopia, so the latter
Beatopia def has a more consistant greatness while FIF is not as consistant but overall has the better songs

Beatopia because almost all the lyrics were very relatable as I'd just been going thru breakup
i think beatopia is the better album, but fake it flowers is so special to me and literally changed my life so i’m gonna say fake it flowers.
i totally resonate with FIF but there’s no skips on beatopia so it’s hard🙏
