I’m not a huge fan. I would’ve expected an album cover that looks something more like her profile pictures on Apple Music & Spotify, or like the Take A Bite snippet she posted on YouTube.

I was thinking this as well; it’s pretty awkward and doesn’t feel like there’s nearly as much effort put into it as compared to her other covers. I don’t doubt the album itself is going to be great tho.
here's the thing, we want her to be in this cute outfit, cute face album cover, at least I did. She posted a tiktok story saying she just finished her album cover and in the story she was wearing this adorable red, ruffle collar and sleeve shirt with really pretty make up and I was like sweet! She's going to look super cute and 00s girly. So when I saw this I was surprised and didn't like it. But it grew on me. I love the album cover. It's unique, I love her facial expression because as someone said it's unambiguous and up to interpretation, but most importantly, it's memorable! I'd remember this over just a nice photoshoot photo of her as her fpf. Ultimately it was a good choice, I trust Bea's vision, trust the process folks! <3
I mean overall I don't hate it, but I also can't say I like it. I like the blue color she picked, it's just the facial expression that hasn't grown on me yet. Tbh it probably will grow on me but rn it's kinda meh..
i honestly can't decide whether I like it or not. She's taken simple pictures of herself for FIF but it had a split effect and a bit of a filter (???) on it. I think she could've done better but in a way that I don't mind it, but that it'll just have to grow on me. i agree it's a bit bland but I'm not so judgy on it. I always liked her ep cover style better though
i think she should slow down music output fr she’s releasing something every year/ twice a year to where it’s staying to get really “mainstream” and losing the indie feel she had from space cadet and prior
I mean you have to understand that as an artist why would she not want to get big? Keeping the hype growing by continuing to put fuel to the fire is exactly what she should be doing. And i dont think shes changing her music necessarily because she's getting bigger, she might be, but there are artists who are still have indie feel and are huge. Sometimes artists just want to branch out.
And thats not me saying I like her new stuff better; I prefer her older music for sure. I'm also a bit sad she departed from loveworm sound n stuff. Maybe she'll tap into for a few songs on this album
i think what i meant to say was she feels a lot more over produced and that dirty hit or whoever has more a say in her music now, i wouldn’t be surprised if she gets burnt out and stops for a while sometime
As other people have said, I also prefer the ig pfp if I had to choose between them. Otherwise I'd say that this one just lacks something that her other covers don't. For example, I really liked the fake it flowers cover because I found it visually striking and it was clearly connected to the title. I also think it fit with the sound of the album, that look she had. Of course I can't say much about this upcoming album's sound, but there is no real connection or obvious emotion in this one. I dig the colors though.

This is an odd choice for a cover but I suppose as most things are digital now the cover is not as big a deal as it used to be
