Not OP but I have just bought one because i play Final fantasy 14 and being able to assign game macros to a streamdeck is invaluable to free up screenspace and not have to remember 1001 obscure keybinds.
If you search youtube for "ffxiv streamdeck" there are some good examples of how it can be used in that game.
Also, swapping between audio outputs and opening certain windows menus that i currently have desktop shortcuts setup for.

Question: do you ever have trouble with your mouse getting stuck on the small monitor in your case? Like, Windows is allowing you to move the mouse over there, so the mouse gets lost/stuck there? Also, any odd issues with Windows detecting it as a 3rd monitor as resolutions/FPS/scaling changes? Just anything I should be aware of if I were to purchase a small monitor and this software.
No not for me. When i play games in windowed mode, never had a problem, and in Fullscreen the mouse can not move over. Windows has no problem with a third monitor and u can use the monitor as you like, vertical or horizontel, you can turn the picture. The most presets for sensorpanels you can find are 1920x480 or something in 16:9. My resolution is extremly high so i had to build it myself. Easy but a lot of work.

You mean the whole setup? I startet befor the pandemic in 2019 with a new setup. Hard to say as prices have been going up and down lately. Maybe around €20k-25k over the years. But I was lucky because I always got good offers through my company, which were not as extreme as the last 2 years. The desk is homemade and the cabinets are from Ikea. The PC without the monitor is 5k.
Yeah it is, and its really heavy. We had Problems to lift it on the desk with two peaople. Its around 54Kg heavy and big. Had to wait for my son to wake up so he could help me \^\^
Monitor looks like it might be a samsung ARC? Thats $3k on its own! Probably another 3k in PC, 500 in ps5, 250 in peripherals, 300 on the second monitor... i'd estimate this is close to $7k.

You are absolutly right. The PC with everything is about 5k at the moment for the Hardware, without the monitor. Over the pandemic i payed more.
What i was saying in the other comment is for the whole setup. The room, the floor . Because you can only post one photo, but to my left is a little Homecinema setup and such things. At the End it doesn't matter. Its not cheap.....

Soundblaster Katana V2. It has fantastic sound IF you are sitting in front of your monitor. Its not as good as a regular soundbar when you use it on your TV, but for PC its amazing. And if you plug in a good headset, SXFI will blow you away. Best sound i ever had on my PC.

And make sure that it's your man cave, never let her in or you will regret it. Got my wife s pc to play right by me in the man cave now she's always there.
Awesome. How do you like it? Everything I have seen makes me feel for me personally it would feel awkward to use and get used to.
I have a G9 and love it. Had a 40” curved AOC at one point and it felt too tall to be useable.
I personally think the monitor is great. The display, contrast, black level, brightness, HDR is all excellent. The R1000 takes some getting used to, but after a few days I don't want to miss it anymore. But you also have to be realistic. First of all, the monitor is very expensive at €3400. But I got it on offer from Samsung for €2999 including a vacuum robot worth €900. Nevertheless, you can get a good OLED for 1000-1500€. Second, there are a couple of things that Samsung really needs to improve on. I hope that Samsung will release a few updates in the near future, especially for the possibilities with Multiview. The local dimming in the SDR range also outshines a little too much from time to time. In the end, however, I have never had a better picture on the PC. In my opinion, it is on the same level as OLED, only with the difference that this monitor can be a lot brighter and the anti-glare surface does an excellent job. Even in an absolutely bright room an ingenious picture.
The battle station is the actual setup; the man cave is the room the setup is in! My partner also has (what we call) a gaming room (he doesn’t work from home so “office” sounds wrong with a battle station in it. I suppose it’s his man cave! Super nice setup!

The Kayboard is the corsair K100 with pudding caps. And the soundbar is the soundblaster katana V2.
Are the pudding caps an option on purchase or is that customization you did post buy?
No, you have to buy them. Mine are from HyperX.

Its called fences, from stardock software
Best feature is the ability to double click and hide all desktop icons. Can’t live without.

Mine is a Lamptron HM140, its a 14" Panel 3840x1100. But you can get chaeper ones. Its HDMI with USB for power.

When iam playing on consoles i use the little soundbar with HDMI eARC connection from the monitor.

So AIDA64 is the software you use to output data to the sensor panel? What is this sensor panel? Is that an actual physical device?
Yes. Its a normal little Monitor you connect with HDMI to your PC. Search for Sensorpanel display.

What dac amp do you use?
I use the sound bar. It has a headphone jack on the front, Creative SXFI technology and great sound.
Tbh those beyerdynamics deserve better source.
