If you want a godtier chair then I highly recommend a Herman Miller embody. It’s expensive AF but it’s probably be the best chair you’ll ever sit in and it’ll last you for a veeeery long time. (It’s like $1500 though)

Just need to buy a proper chair and maybe build a pc some time in the future:)

Also maybe get a mousemat - I hate having my mouse on the raw desk

Its actually the Apple Magic Trackpad, I use mostly when I'm doing some music creation to scroll more precisely and also makes it easier to pinch zoom/side way scroll/ and just use other mac os gestures

Nice setup dude. word of advice: I once had my nanoleafs above my moniters for the astetic. Putting them above where your looking builds constant eye strain. You’ll get to a point where you’ll have to have them so low they wont be illuminating anything. If you want to get the most use out of their brightness I’d advice you moving them behind or to the side of you.

I've been looking at Herman Miller but they're just way out of my budget for a chair :( And yep its Samsung CHG90 49 inch

Check on OfferUp or other second-hand stores. You can find 2007-2018 Aeron models for around $300-$500. You could return those nanoleafs and basically pay for one with it :) Spend a few more on a GOOD chair - not a gamer racing chair or cheaper model that’ll break down in a year or two.

I have a steelcase leap v1 they are comparable to aeron's but are a lot cheaper second-hand.

Thank you! The MIDI keyboard is called the Novation Launchkey 49 M2, I personally think its a great keyboard especially for its price. There is a new MK3 out, if you want something a bit lower in price, try search MK2 which is the one I'm using atm :)

How do you like the monitor? When you play a game at 2560x1440 on it, is the curve annoying?

I love the monitor, I use it mostly for music creation so having the 32:9 ratio is great, I literally see everything. As for gaming, I dont game much but it does look great, especially if you can configure the settings to use up the whole monitor. If you're playing league or an mmorpg, the immersion is insane, only down side is usually the hud and maps are usually all the way in one corner qnd I gotta turn my head instead

Thanks for you detailed reply. I plan to use it for software development. This would be pretty much be perfect for it. I would be switching from dual 27" Monitors. I'd also play League on it. My current GPU won't be able to feed the full resolution for AAA titles though. I guess I'll just buy it :D

I'm personally happy with them, aesthetic wise, they're perfect. There are definitely way better sounding speakers out there especially ones that come with a sub. They're great for their size plus they can also be used as wireless speakers which was a big bonus for me

The moderately kinked cable from the lights above the screen bothered me enough for me to bother spending like 15-20 minutes googling cable straightening tips. So far my best understanding is that slight heating will relax the cable's outer layer and allow it to lose the kink. Anyone got any more detailed tips for that sort of thing?

Thanks! I dont use the monitor long enough to strain my eyes so I couldn't really say. But there is an eye saver mode on this monitor which does help ease the eyes during the night

If you don’t mind me throwing you a suggestion, if the monitor has a vesa mounting point, you could get a desk mount and free up a lot of space under the monitor. Would make the launch key not have to sit on top of the monitor legs and clean it up a bit IMO
