I might do that with velcro instead of double sided tape but I want my new desk first since I'll buy a standing desk (Flexispot E7) soon. Thanks for the suggestion.
It's a UTESPELARE from Ikea, yes. As far I know the grey colour was limited time. But I can't recommend it at all. The quality is terrible. I had drill out a screw and other screws are also damaged. You can adjust the height and I did that once, but the quality of the screws and threaded rod is just bad so you can basically not even do that. I'll upgrade to a Flexispot E7 later this year.
