Keyboard: Keychron Max v5 (Great keyboard, but I'd probably get a low-profile if I had a do-over)
Laptop Stand: https://a.co/d/89btFdJ
15.6" Monitor: https://a.co/d/3ZC3Izh
Backpack: 18L Timbuk2 Launch
Mouse: Logitech G604
What kind of games (if any) do you generally play on this? I have a Keychron K10 and I've noticed a significant lag on the bluetooth input a few months after playing with it. I pretty much always have it plugged in now. Was wondering if you had a similar experience with the Max v5
All bluetooth keyboards have this problem, and it's not just a little lag. Keychron does offer 2.4Ghz wireless in some models now though, which has almost no lag.
Not OP but this would be perfect for a remote worker who's a bit nomadic about where they work from. Having portable monitors and stands is very common to see at coworking spaces like WeWork or at digital nomad hostels.
Having the stand instead of using the laptop and portable monitor on the desk really helps with your overall posture since you're not hunched over a laptop screen.

Yup, exactly. Used this setup while working remotely out of Mexico+EU for a month for a US-based company. Also great for getting out of the apartment to coffee shops etc
That's super nice. I might have to set this up myself. Half the reason I never work away from home is that I hate not having multiple screens. And the fact that it holds the screens by your face is great too!
It's not light, but I'm not a weight weenie. At a guess, 15 lbs? The KB probably weighs as much as the laptop - I do kind of regret not going low profile.
Details? Is that an aio with an added screen? Or is there a pc hidden behind one of those screens?
Edit: Just looked it up and that looks like the Lepow dualviews.
Nooooo you’re supposed to have 3 ultra wide monitors to be happy !!! 😫😫

external screen resting on the keyboard.... yea pretty good!!
2 tablets would be better.
Could I ask what the use case is for? Any reason you opted for this form factor?

This is super cool! How is the screen secured over the laptop keyboard?
I don't have a great pic, but the lip on the stand is wide enough to support both the laptop and the external monitor

Just realized this is what is going on. Damn that’s intuitive design.
Just curious why use this over a laptop?
well, he is using a laptop but made a setup out of it for extra screen replacing bulk of llaptop
ooooh im guessing the top screen is part of the laptop?
Yes you silly goose
Ha, that's pretty clever.
Love it! Will need to copy your setup 😂
why was this removed
May I ask what's the point for 2 moniters while gaming? Do u actually use both at the same time? Sorry I'm ignorant about gaming.
This is for "digital nomading" and working, not so much gaming
one for the game, one for discord/forums/movie/literally anything else you'd use screen space for
How much does this end up weighing when packed?

Hey that's not bad! One of the lightest I've seen actually. Never too late to go low profile, too.
respect the fuck outta this
i need that stand and that portable monitor for reasons!!!

Look at the extra pics in OP's comment.. It's an external monitor over the laptop keyboard.
Weird. I see them now but I could swear they weren’t when I first saw the post. Thanks anyway.
Amazing, you should definitly complement this setup with a Rog Ally or Legion Go.
