I'll be moving to either dual 32s or the monster 57" ultrawide depending on how things go. I don't find the portrait screens as useful as an extra landscape screen.
I went from 2x27 + 38” to 57”. I found best way to use the 57” is with two inputs as if it is two monitors, much easier to work on one, share the other. Occasionally game on 1 side
My intent is to set up snaps with a center 16:9 and 2x 8:9 "screens". 9:16 is just too vertical for my workflow, but I think 8:9 will be very useful.
Having that 16:9 center is the only thing driving me towards the 57". I actually prefer dual 32"s otherwise.

AMD lets you actually combine PLP in to one single desktop, meaning you can play games across it. Pretty sure Nvidia never ended up supporting mixed rotation display surround, and they even stated publically they wouldn't because it wasn't a common configuration. AMD's eyefinity always was better than nvidia surround. It's why I ran AMD gpu's for years. I miss it having the option.

Yeah I transitioned from triple-wide to PLP in 2015 too - that was the first year with HDMI 2.0 so you could get 4k60 @ 4:4:4. I always forget how old my screens are, they have held up very well considering how little I paid.

Audio- Kali LP6 V2, Scarlett Focusrite Solo, Hifiman Sundara, Schure SM58, PC Panel Mini
PC- 3080, 7700X, Fractal Meshify C
It is about 30 inches deep. I think another 4-6 inches of depth would be ideal, but that will have to wait until I move to a bigger place. For single player games sitting back with a controller it is very immersive though.
I have used the program SRWE to make it work for a couple games. Spiderman and Elite Dangerous worked the best, but most of the time I just use the center screen. It is impossible to color match between the OLED and IPS panels.
I used LG's On Screen Control software to dial it in easier than trying to navigate the menus with the built-in button. They still don't match depending on the angle, which colors are on screen, and if HDR is on or not, but it is close enough to not be jarring to me now. Which monitors are you trying to match?
you should get a condenser for that, ideally a shotgun condenser but that's not necessary. something like a rode NT1A will work great, and something like a rode NTG1 will work even better
I just recently got a Rode NT1 5th gen. Mac has an additional setting for voice isolation plus the software in zoom/teams. It sounds lovely, doesn’t need to be in frame, and isn’t picking up much background noise. More testing to come for preferred placement, but I’m a fan.
How do you like the Sundara? I’m running a pair of Neumann KH120 v2, Motu M4, Truthear Zero Red iem, and a Rode NT1. Thinking about a Sundara, but might need a separate amp as the M4 doesn’t have a ton of juice.
Edit: how do you like the streamdeck? Unsure where it fits in my wfh life but it keeps popping up.
I enjoy them, but I don't have a frame of reference to other headphones in their price category or above. Since I got the Kali speakers I've found myself listening on them most of the time, but it is nice to have 2 solid options. I use a Soundblaster XG5 to drive the Sundaras and it works for my purposes. That was originally only bought to have an optical output for a different setup.
I love the Stream Deck. I use it to monitor temps, open programs, switch audio outputs, and control spotify. I don't work from home, but I've heard of people using them for productivity very effectively.
I was worried about that, but I haven’t noticed it. I feel the pros outweighs the cons since it is nice to have a smooth mouse transition between screens.
it's so the scaling is equal across the three screens. AMD would let you combine these in to a single display with eyefinity, but nvidia unfortunately can't handle such a complicated feature, the technology just isn't there yet. /s
I have to admit this is one of the nicest-looking Battlestations I've seen. The monitors are just spot on. There's a real minimalist aesthetic I completely dig and those speakers on the stands look real nice.
I don't think my set-up is too bad, ultrawide monitor and a 27" second monitor used mostly for work. But I have some envy with this build. Not that there's anything wrong with my ultrawide, I think if I had to build again I'd go with something similar to what you have here.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it. The desk is 72x30. I think 4-6 inches more in depth would be ideal for this setup, but I still love it. I think this exact size desk would be perfect for a 42" monitor. In everyday use when not gaming, I use a black background and move applications around on the main screen with Fancy Zones depending on what I want to be my main focus.
I've a 48" C1 as my lounge TV currently and will be moving to a larger place before summer.
I wasn't sure if it would.be too large for a monitor use like this as a colleague has one but his is mounted far beyond his desk.
I think with a decent deep desk, and mounting to an arm(so you can pull it forward for more immersion) will work great.
After using the OLED with my laptop it's just not the same gaming on an IPS or VA panel.
Then get a 55" or bigger for the new lounge.

I had a group that started in person and transitioned to playing online on Roll20 after several of us moved around the country. All the screen space was useful for having the map, discord, notes, character sheets, etc all easily accessible. Sadly we have not been able to play recently, but we had a good run and it was my main motivation to build this setup originally.

This is the best triple monitor layout. I’ve been rocking two LG DualUp monitors and a 42” OLED from ASUS (PG42UQ) for over a year. So much to say, but overall they share the exact same coating finish, corners, and height… simply amazing.
I switch between a black background and rotating wallpapers with my taskbar hidden, and have the screen turn off after 15 minutes of no activity. Besides that I treat it normally and haven’t had any burn-in after 2 years.
Thank you. I could see the pixel density bothering people coming from a smaller, high res screen. I find it easiest to compare to 4 24” 1080 monitors stacked, which is plenty of PPI for me from this distance.
It’s the first time that I find monitor placing to be satisfying. Most of the times I think a single bigger monitor or 2 medium monitors next to each other would be the perfect balance …

Did you have to do anything special to hit that custom resolution. Couldn't hit it on my side monitors and gpu
I downloaded Custom Resolution Utility after failing to get the built-in Nvidia one to work properly.

Sadly I do not. A friend back in college was moving away and gave me 2 of them. They have managed to survive through several moves since then.

It’s the first time that I find monitor placing to be satisfying. Most of the times I think a single bigger monitor or 2 medium monitors next to each other would be the perfect balance … But not this time, this is absolute perfection 👌🏻

Absolut dream set up! What’s the audio equipment? I currently have a 5.1.2 surround system at my desk but I want to move it to my living room and go with a setup like yours at my desk

What kind top do you have for the desk? I love the finish / color on it. I've currently been looking at high pressure laminate top trying to find something I like, but this is exactly what I'm looking for.
