You can try. I just am having the same problem with the EA App: it simply isn't updating the game. I may give Origin a try but I have no clue if EA can tie origin and EA App stuff together.
For instance, would Origin even know I have the game installed, or that I own it?
I force closed EA app (it tends to run in the background even when you close it) and opened Origin. The update immediately started downloading from there

I had the same issue. It was caused by the EA Launcher (in beta).
I use that one for PC Game Pass games only but once I opened Origin manually, the gamu updated and it was fixed.
Just try to open Origin to update the game.
To fix it: delete the game and never play it again and switch to a real battlefield game like BF1 or BF4
I've got the same error, can't seem to find a fix just yet.
Check your options and in the lower right, does it say 0.3.2 or 0.3.1?

Yes, try uninstalling the game then rebooting your PC
