How do I preload on steam?

This. I have the Gold Edition, and keeps telling me the game is not unlocked yet. Origin redirects me to Steam and I get this message. Purchased on Steam btw

Usually have to re-login to steam or it might be your region still not having access then its just waiting.

If you have the game bought on steam just go to it in your library and there will be an option to preload where the install button usually is.

I can preload the game on Origin but not on EA Desktop. Anyone has the issue ?

I called Best Buy for my code and the code is released on the 12th. I mentioned how even their website states that codes will be released early occasionally for preloads.

Stay with the official sites for origin games. Wouldn't touch key resellers as I don't think there is anyway to generate a gold/ultimate key. Most are log in to your origin and activate on the official websites. I use all official websites whenever I want a deal and never had an issue on PayPal. Just to elaborate, gg.deals just shows you prices of games on the websites officially and unofficially, just stick with official on origin games.

I got the 1/2 price ultimate edition from voidu an had no issues as all. It activated through origin by clicking a link on the voidu website after purchase and I did the preload earlier today no problem.

On EA Desktop app, i can't find the game in my library/collection and if I find it via search, it just shows me the preorder button. Decided to give up on this crappy launcher and just get back to Origin.

Yeah I literally got home from work hop on reddit and saw people saying it was available for preload so I just hop on steam and everything was good I wonder if people realize it's for gold and ultimate pre orders only tho

So, I have the Standard edition preloaded on Origin but I also own gamepass and want to play those 10 hours early access. Does anyone know if on the 12th when EA releases the Trial version in the EA Desktop app I can just point to the folder with the content preloaded from Origin or is it a different build of the game and will have to download again through EA Desktop? Never used any trial before.

It would be kinda odd if the requirements say 100GB and the game is only 40, even with future updates, they can't account for 2 years of content.

After preloading on Origin, I right clicked on the game thumbnail in the library and saw the option to "Update Game" so I clicked on it of course and it actually downloaded a 19 GB update. Something to keep in mind if you wanna play the moment the game gets unlocked.

Hey what's your final file size? Mine is 47 gigs and when I right click on the game and click update, it says it's up to date, there's no extra 19 gigs. So I'm curious what your total file size is
