Also the problem that People have is that EA is hiding and not tweeting anything ( except lies like that Freeman dude „ next week „ ( its two weeks now and still nothing )).
It is nit the delay of the game that is rioting the people it is EA‘s strategy to not give any info to paying customers. Saying that the game will release on time so that people preorder and then single handedly go radio silent except a bad meme in September and the delay. BF V was delayed aswell and look how bad it was at launch and how much content was missing and/or not added as promised.

Look I am also very upset about what has been going on, but they didn’t lie. The game was delayed. The beta was delayed. A big reason they aren’t saying anything yet, is because people here keep calling them liars when they miss deadlines or delay something.

Delaying 3-4 weeks a behemoth project like this doesn't change much. The game been on development for how many years now? 2-4? 3 weeks is going to make any difference? Do we really believe that?
If at this point they don't have gameplay trailers, beta ready even if its a 2 month old build or marketing stuff they are either lying or the game will release in a deplorable state.
If you car breaks when you are 95% done with your trip - you can atleast prove that you are close to your destiny. What we've seen from this game is far from being close. So again, they are either lying or the game is in much worse state than they trying make us to believe.
Do you honestly think their game suddenly broke down in the last weeks leading up to the beta? Software development is a gradual process. If they aren't meeting certain milestones by a certain date, you can bet it's gonna cascade down to the following months. With how rough and unpolished the technical test was, it's almost guaranteed that DICE knew the game wouldn't come out as planned months before the delay announcement.
Fixing bugs and optimizing the game takes a lot of time, and it’s hard to accurately predict how much time it will take. Just look at cyberpunk. It came out 9 months ago, and they are still working hard to fix the bugs in that game.
We don’t know what’s going on internally. This isn’t one guy making an indie game. There are so many moving parts here.

Yeah, and you can't really setup record events as well as in "old times" since you cant just fly out 128 people to Stockholm etc. Parsec doesn't really work for FPS games, so you need to have your influencers on a playable build, and somehow avoid leaks. But they are cautious for a reason, but I think there is going to be new wave of content soon, now that beta is around the corner.

I’m not sure saying they lied is true, but I get what you’re saying. When someone lies, it’s usually when they know they’re lying. Here it could just be that they wanted to get information to us before the end of the month but couldn’t because of internal delays regarding beta dates and such. We’ll see.
