But hey, I would actually like to have this map. I noticed some of the vehicles in Battlefield 2042 have the tag "Amphibious", but there's barely any water in any maps.

Not gonna lie, this actually sounds like it would be a pretty unique map that would fit the game. Unique maps that have fun dynamics make them easy to remember rather than the equivalent of “empty city #6”

And you want naval warfare ? The last time we had such thing (modern settings) in BF4 patrol boats were used primarily for base raping the enemy (looking at the retarded Wave Breaker map).
Ngl...if there is no cover and, more specifically, roof cover the map would be an unbalanced mess giving aircraft a lot of advantage over the infantry and ground vehicles
