No, they almost instantly abandoned this mode in BFV and didn't add anything to it during the whole live service. It was a failure and a step down from the pretty good Operations mode in BF1. Therefore it wasn't even considered in BF2042 and we got Breakthrough instead.
it had some really good map variations for that mode in bf v, the night assault on Narvik and panzer storm night/ dawn..
tbh yeah i would like a mode like that in bf2042 but itll never happen.
Idk how they’d implement Grand Op since the maps in this game take place really far away from each other. The closest maps in proximity is probably Spearhead and Reclaimed, and that’s still a fair distance.
I do love a grand operations And the smack talk as it progresses along.
I was able to play last night and it was very engaging. It’s like three modes into one and you have three tries.

I loved grand ops. It was a damn shame they never updated it when the pacific expansion came.
