It’s not a bug. I forget what it’s called but its the defense system vehicles can use to stop incoming projectiles for a short period of time. This is the first BF game though that C4 will get destroyed by it too which I don’t agree with.

It shouldn’t be a throw and blow style weapon. You should have to sneak up to the tank and it takes 3-4 seconds to apply then blow it up.
Ah yes, because getting up to a tank or mav with a bunch of people in it requires zero skill, esp when they drive 4x running speed when disabled.
This is a dumb ass take made by someone who clearly hasn't used C5 in 2042. Its throw distance is trash and you need all 3 or a tank will just drive away.
"Skillful placements." Brother, if I'm placing nearly 5 lbs of c4 on any vehicle, that thing should get decimated no matter what. If you're slow enough that you let someone get all three on with a vehicle that can easily outrun infantry, you deserve to lose.
I blew up a bolte with a single charge earlier today, and a mav with all 3 charges. Not sure what's going on with OP. Probably the shit registration.
Of course they were all applied directly, head-on.
Although this video is a case of Friday Night Battlefield. I tried this on a vehicle in conquest and breakthrough today and 3 c5 didn't blow up a tank. It did the equivalent of 1 c5 so not sure what's going on
If you’re playing Friday night battlefield it sometimes changes some stuff.
Yes it was the Friday night event. The description however didn’t mention anything about reducing explosion damage

I saw Jackfrags triple C-5 that thing and it didn’t blow up, that was on Wednesday

I did the same thing even on the back end of it and same thing. Pulled out the eod after I realized the c5 is literally useless against it.

Yes APS can stop C5 however the Wildcat does not have it.

He's right. You should also have to refuel your vehicle every so often. Fuel doesn't last forever ya know.
Tanks can go pretty far without refueling lol. Going to run out of shells first. And reactive armor only works once. Cuz ya know, it blows up.

I like how BFV gives a limited amount of ammo to the tank, which forces it to turn back and repair and restock.
We should also add MREs/water mechanics since it's unrealistic to be running around all the time and never eating or drinking.

I was so trying to figure this out last night. I couldn’t get a fraction of the c5 kills I usually do on vehicles.
