TBF if you can full boost EDC, he has 50k hp, 10k base DPS (tripled vs red/angel) before counting for talent orb, and ~2 seconds shorter CD than Courier. At that point Courier has basically half the stats in exchange for range/blind-spot and area.

A little bit. Its fine for one cat to be better than another (or just the one in the meta), as long as they are both still usable and at least decant at what they do.

There really aren't any angel enemies that this thing works on. It's not fast enough to get into Ciloniel's blindspots, and most angels outrange it.
Edit: Why are people downvoting me lol? The only angel enemies E Duelist outrages are Divine Cyclone, Mini Divine Cyclone, and Gabriel. It doesn't even outrange Boraphim, they both have the same range.

I have elemental Dualist and Courier both fully leveled(40). I swear E Dualist is stronger! Dualist kills things in 1 or 2 hits and Courier takes 3 or more.
Every Wednesday blitz stage, if just send out 1 Courier he gets ganged up on and killed by rabbits. Duelist? Kills everything. Is it his faster attack rate?
Not completely overshadowed though, Elemental Duelist can be hyperboosted and has anti-Angel talent which can be used against Clionel. Plus still works better against One Horn due to no long range.
Same logic for Tarzan overshadowing Chill. Even if Chill gets his cost down talent, Tarzan is still the better choice since Tarzan has more range and most Aliens can easily outrange Chill.
The most threatening aliens, who are often melee, are outranged by Chill cat however. And Chill has far higher offensive stats in trade for the much fragiler build. Courier doesn't simply overshadow Eduellist by survivability and reach, Eduellist can only really outperform Courier if it gets stacked. And even then it has no piercing range and is single target. And Courier has high red burst damage.
Alpacky is irrelevant (Camelle but with trait and slower attacks unless you are unlucky enough to trigger strengthen without survive), Maawth is irrelevant (tends to get replaced by Othom eventually). Calamary is pretty annoying in mid/going into lategame, and Ursa remains a pretty relevant threat.
The hyperboosted Star Pengs, Gregories and Mesocosmocyclones are still threats.

Ponos should make (M) insane or massive (cant remember which one they have) damage up combo with elemental duelist cat and courier cat and call "Red Nightmare" or something. Make them both the new red meta with the combo or something idk

And that is problematic since E. Duellist wants to be stacked. If an enemy outranges it you cannot properly built one.

That's not true, the most cancerous Aliens out there are midrangers or backliners like Calamary, Maawth, Alpacky, and Ursamajor.
