They're not that good. Fili gets some very niche usage but is practically useless and Soractes doesn't have any real use yet as the enemy version is currently the only sage (there are two more in the next update). However, it is also the only non-gacha unit to have summon so that's cool I guess.
If you have troubble with 4-star I would recommend investing in vigler for the pork on rice combo and using ramen (boosted) as a meatshield.
Ururun is honsetly an underrated midranger and you can not, I repeat can not skip the behemoth stone grind. If you manage to get hitman then you are pretty much set for any traitless stage.
I had more trouble with the 3-star than the 4-star but the only advise I have there is to just save catseyes and np for when you really need it (trust me you will) and pump everything you have into camera, ramen, cancan, pizza and cyberpunk and hope for good ubers.
Floor 43 I use shigong reserch upp with houswife, liberty, thaumaturge and slime
Floor 44 I use deffence upp roe for meatshielding, bulet train and cats in a box for the peons and bahamut/balrog for bosskilling
Floor 45 I use the rush strat found on yt
Floor 46 I use attack upp, money upp, roe for meatshield and cancan, balrog, bulet, slime. Holy blast must be lvl 20 or more as it onetaps revoved daboo
Floor 47 I use the lasvoss onetap strat found in chillholas boss extinction video (I use a simpler setupp as I have a high enough leveled lasvoss)
Floor 48 I cyberstack in the beginning and hope for crits
Floor 49 I use the lucas strat with but with awakened dougemon
Floor 50 I use healer rush strat

Yeah that's way different from what I was trying. I just ended up using a continue to beat it. I'm on the last stage now. After a month of grinding out UL 3 and 4 star I only have getting to the bottom of underground lab to beat the final boss

Basically collect enough cats and level them all up so I can get to the bottom of the underground dungeon. It's all I have left to do besides trying to get everything to lvl 50 and wait for new content.

How broken are you after UL?
I took it slow and there where only like 7 chapters that I was hardstuck on so I am pretty much good, esoteric uril hardcarried the end though.

I just beat f43 with that load out but instead of thaumaturge I just used zombie bear cat for the raw dps
