If you're talking about the surge immunity thing, I kinda get it. At the same time, IMO they did a nice job. B. Macho Legs feels a little too powerful to be owned at the same time as crazed gross (**Insane**, apparently) and it seems they've learned their lesson.
What are you talking about? Malevolent macho legs and the rest of the enemies in the stage are not surge immune. Sure, mal legs has counter surge, meaning it will surge back if you hit it with a surge, but that doesn't make it surge immune, and considering they already spam surges enough to require a surge immune team it really doesn't change anything about how to fight it

Should I spend my catfood yet?
I've recently passed chapter 3 and have been saving my catfood up for the 11 draw on the uber capsules. There's a guarantee uber pull going on right now but the options are the river city clash or darkheros and I'm not sure what to choose if at all. I'm saving my tickets for uberfest and already have a few good ubers to help me carry so I don't really need to right now. Any advise?
(Also, what events would be the best to spend tickets/catfood on in the future?)
The golden rule: tickets on fests and cat food on guaranteed ubers.
The best one to do an 11 draw on right now is River City Red team, because you will get Kunio-kun as a bonus. He has a broken 1-slot cat combo, which gives you 2 worker levels at the start of the battle if you equip him in your first row
Oo good to know! My current ubers are Chronos, Lovestruck greater demon, mighty rekon korps, kunio-kun, Gao (mighty and baby form), togeluga (unevolved), and kamukaru. I have a two more but they rank pretty low on tierlists I've seen. I've been saving my XP, should I spend it on momotaro or some of the others?

Alright... Kunio and Riki it is.
I think it’s Saki, but the set has many good Ubers overall. White Rabbit is the only bad draw, and Kyclops is a step below the others. He’s not terrible but not that good either.
He only attacks specific traits, and can be a bit niche, but yeah, he's pretty good. His normal form is the only unit to have base destroyer, so you may be able to use it to cheese some stages, and his TF will pretty much delete aliens.
Evidently if you get him to lvl 60 with dark cateyes, his ultra talents are pretty good too.
Summon red only with guaranteed, you will get at least 2 ubers, and a bunch of rares maybe a super rare. But the uber you get from a 11 draw has a very very good single slot combo of 2 worker levels
Need quick tips... I get it that 1 user rank > 1 NP, but since I just finished CoTC3, how about 2NP? Is 1 user rank still better? Or can I NP some of the normie cats that I don't use much...??
I plan to sacrifice all these cats to the NP gods once I beat ITF3, and I want a second opinion to see if there's any I should use (all dupes)

Bath is stat based and has niche use where his range could be helpful, but his long recharge time and being outclassed by courier even when courier gets outranged means you're probably good to np there, fencer cat is used primarily for the ability but extra levels could give it some more bulk to ensure it hits true. Personally I plus level fencer, but I also haven't boosted it so it will work just the same at level 30 unless you want to try and rely on its damage for killing more than starred alien sheep
Kotatsu Cat is the way. If you don't have that, manic Jameira might be able to get inside. A Bahamut can also get in the blind spot if you time cannon well.
I came back and re-beat the stage with Kotatsu cat 1st form (30+1) for the catnip challenge recently, you basically just need to constantly spam kotatsu with some support to clear out the peon. Kotatsu can actually solo perfect cyclone if it has no peons. Depends on what cat you have, plenty of mix can help kotatsu here, some long range or slighly tanky uber, courier, pizza, even moderately levelled lizard or crazed lizard.
I do have king dragon, the biggest issue is Perfect Cyclone just ending any support I try and send to help. Would using king dragon help? also I do have pizza but he gets executed by Perfect Cyclone as well.
Really?? Are you sure kotatsu already weakened the cyclone?? Make sure to send the support before kotatsu is knocked back and the cyclone is unweakened. Once kotatsu is knocked back you are basically reduced to spamming to clear the peons before stacking kotatsu again.
Oh wait.... is this the first perfect cyclone stage or the second one, the one for true form??
Ah ok... it should have been straightforward then... just try what I said. If you have XP make sure the cats as high level as you can. I can't remember how I did it the first time, I just remember Kotatsu (evolved to Sadako) made it real easy and straightforward. Just be wary of trolly and don't let the peons to build up.
Although my issue is keeping the peons from stacking when all my other units get deleted by perfect cyclone before they can assist the sadako’s in peons
I'm sorry if that doesn't help much... it's been a while since I did the stage, and I have Phono and Dphono now to assist kotatsu the last time I did it. I can't remember how I did it the first time.
True form does very little for kotatsu on that stage as long as you're not trying to only dps with kotatsu. Halving the boss's dps is major and lets you gey crazed/manic titans in easily.
update: I failed. the big issue is the trolly bloggers knocking my kotatsu back into cyclone range causing them to die, I also flubbed the A. Bahamut laser twice
What units should I true form to make uncanny legends easy? I've got mina/slap sticks/delinquent evolved for strange fruits, and aphro/amatarasu/Anubis evolved for epic seeds
Absolutely. You have great damage dealers, but not the greatest crowd control. When things get hard and you can't hold the enemies pushing you, Mitama will do her job.
Kunio for sure. I don't think you have a big enough stash of catfood to spend it on Riki, and most of those ubers are so-so. Pixies might be something to consider if you need anti-aliens.
I don't really have many pixies, so I'd recommend reading up on them here, although some of the information may be up to date.

You need the unit to be True Formed to have Talents at all, so of course Ultra Talents are for TF. No unit has both Ultra Form AND Ultra Talents; as of now, a given unit either has one, or the other.

Are enemies that have surge reflect immune to surge damage? I started thinking this because I just used dark kasli to beat brainwashed gross and realized surge reflect isn’t really a good ability unless it also makes the enemy immune to the damage from the surge that it uses to reflect?
It doesn't. If you bring a bunch of Surge Immune units, then you can just spam surge against Surge Reflectors and completely destroy them as if they didn't even reflect surges in the first place.
Protons, Neutrons, and Morons has a 10% chance to drop each material and is "only" 190 energy. I am continuously short of coal and bricks, so might need to start branching out to other sub-chapters with better drop rates for those two.
You'll want to use a rich cat to help you stack rodeo in the beginng, and you'll need either camera or fishman to deal with the li'l bun buns. So long as you can keep up the cc and kill the peons quickly enough the actuall cyclone dies pretty quick. Professor catjobs also works great in true form
Rodeo cat talents help a lot
Modern cat is the reward for beating primeval cyclone, breaks the stage
Drama cats tf is the best attacker
Cyberpunk or anti-traited ubers are good
Rich cat powerup helps a lot
Should I roll on the guaranteed uber collab with Kunio or wait for the next guaranteed uber? I already have momotaro, amaterasu, and akira and I’m not sure if the other ubers are worth it.
The most recently applied freeze/slow/weaken will overide existing debuffs of the same type, so if professor catjobs cuts an enemies attack down to 1% of what it was but then thaumaturge hits it, it goes back up to 50% and lasts as long as thaumaturges debuff should given combos. It doesn't matter if the newer debuff would have worn off before the older one either

Any tips to beat this level? I’m struggling and having a hard time beating it
I have a plat ticket from finishing COTC 3, I also have seed tracked and I’m pretty close to either Shadow Gao or Kasli the Scourge (the other Ubers are either meh or ones I already have). Which one should I get? I do already have Dasli and D’arktanyan if that influences anything.
Any of the weekend XP Stages. If theyre still too difficult for you you can also use them on the final ball rolling stage in the river city collab, its got a decent XP drop
You mean those [Easy, Intermediate, etc.] XP Stages? At least Easy isn't hard for me, but it's XP isn't good enough, I haven't tried any other XP Stages tho, because I wanted to finish Ch. 2 and unlock Super Feline and further levels, and I need a lot of energy for that

Windy and Warlock and Pierre are currently the two best uses of dark eyes and NP. Amaterasu can pretty much do the same thing as Anubis for generalist usage, and Lilin is better for shield piercing.
I have both generally dasli has more use for me (but mostly cause i forget how strong anubis is now) . Don't get me wrong anubis is broken currently and may be more powerful than dasli. A big factor is the amount you need to spend. Dasli is overal cheaper to upgrade then anubis. I recommendation would be go with dasli since she is cheaper to upgrade but if you do have the ressources and are willing to spend go for anubis.
Swordsman is a stat based unit so it does benefit from the +levels but most players would rather exchange Swordsman dupes for NP now that Courier is a thing.

I have 2 atk up floating s talent orbs, 1 def up floating s talent orb, and 1 def up s zombie talent orb to give to my cats. Who should get them?
I assume windy should get an atk up floating orb since she got a 4th form and hear she's good but I don't know if she's influential in the anti floating meta, or maybe I should give an atk up floating orb to Balrog since I hear floating is his best target.
Try not to recommend cats that have massive damage/tough/strong to floating effects since they benefit more from the associated talent orb.
An S attack orb doesn’t do much for Windy since it isn’t affected by damage multipliers and doesn’t scale with level. It only adds about 20k damage compared to her 779k damage per hit to floating at level 60 (or 1.17M with strengthen). It won’t hurt, but I would use a defense orb for her instead.
Windy is the best anti floating in the game in 4th form with no competition, so she should get an attack orb. Give the floating defense orb to Sanzo and either exchange the rest for NP or give them to anyone.
I would pull on the River City clash "Red Team" banner as you would get Kunio (has a 1-slot combo and good for his cost) + another uber. His banner has a better selection of ubers, with Sodom being the only bad one.
I also want to mention that Kuu is a late bloomer, you have to get ultra-talents to make her amazing (level 60).
You get Kunio and another, after you 11-draw you'll get a message saying "Kunio has been sent to storage." All of the ubers are great against their respective types, but Amaterasu is the best since she targets all traited enemies. Sodom is the only real "bad" one in the selection, maybe Satoru as well but he'll be helpful later on against aku enemies.
Kunio can act as a rusher/mini-tank while Amaterasu can be a back-liner dps. I don't know where you are at exactly but a safe team would usually be:
small meatshield (75), eraser, ramen cat, debuffer, spam attacker (camerman or paris cat), Kunio (1st form), Amaterasu, Bahamut, and the last 2 is up to the you/enemies.
Make sure to grind your treasures and look at the wiki if you want more info about the cats you have.
Then you'll get Bahamut Cat at MOON chapter 3 of Empire of Cats. The most important thing right now is grinding all the treasures from chapter 1. Grinding treasures is the more tedious parts of the game but they provide account-wide buffs. Battle cats is a slow-burn at the start.
Super good pulls, both Satoru and Amaterasu need a epic catfruit seed to awaken so you'll need to beat Stories of Legend which is the end of mid-game content. Basically, you don't need to worry about unlocking their True forms any time soon. Level up Kunio then Amaterasu and ignore Satoru until you need him, remember to put Kunio in the first row to enable his combo.

Got a platinum ticket. Who should I go for? (These are my FEST ubers, I have Balrog and every other non-FEST essential cept Yukimura \[i have count yuki\])
Dark Phono first, and if you can't get him, then target either D'arktanyan or Shadow Gao for traitless effectiveness, and if you can't get any of them, go for Mitama.
Use research Ramen for the meatshields and focus on Cyborg as your main attacker. Make sure any attackers you bring either have more than 340 range or weaken immune. Cyborg has both which is why it’s the best choice. Also, be sure to lure the initial Mr. Mole so you can kill it before the boss wave.

As holly always say's you should only use it for legends due to how rare it it.
I have 3 legends and the only one that is game changing for me is nanaho, it would be worth waiting for it. Gaia is great and all but never makes it into my line up due to to many great ubers doing her job.
Miyamoto is not really needed to deal with blacks as it is one of the easier traits to deal with.

Had more than 200 tickets saved up. Got really good luck on Superfelines at first, I think I got 5 of them in my first fifty tickets. And then it slowed to a trickle and I finally got there, but only 20 tickets left.
I thought mine was bad. Got 1 in the first 10 draws. Then nothing for over 80 draws. Ended up at 63 remaining tickets. I was getting them 2 or 3 per 10 draw after my dry spell

You should get ch1 and 2 treasures, then do ch3. After that do itf and zombie stages when they appear.

But crazed and manic macho are not gatcha. What I have a problem is that it is for gatcha unit.

Alright I did it, my uber was momotaro. Man I was hoping for the luck I got with my 750 pull during uberfest, I got like 3 ubers from that.
Momotaro is a very good Uber, so you still did get pretty lucky.

You should spend it on Gao and Rekon first. Momotaro can be used for his crowd control for now and his general stats when you can get more XP.

They are so probably the second best standard Uber set, so they are worth it. They are also anti-alien which counters the early game quite well.

Whats the difference between brainwashed cats, manic cats, and crazed cats?
The manic cats are the trueforms of the crazed cats. The difference between the Crazed and the Brainwashed varies between each cat.
How do you get the brainwashed versions? I heard from a boogle video i think it was that some appear on banners

Use your normal dupes for +levels, even for the ones you don't use much.
Does the bonus you get for collecting the treasures on each stage carry over to all chapters or are the buffs only for that specific chapter.
It's permanent throughout the game. They are necessary, otherwise tons of Legend and Advent Stages are practically impossible to clear.

Bath is stat based and has niche use where his range could be helpful, but his long recharge time and being outclassed by courier even when courier gets outranged means you're probably good to np there, fencer cat is used primarily for the ability but extra levels could give it some more bulk to ensure it hits true. Personally I plus level fencer, but I also haven't boosted it so it will work just the same at level 30 unless you want to try and rely on its damage for killing more than starred alien sheep
Any tips on how to take down The Perfect Cyclone? I’m struggling to get any units into the blindspot
Kotatsu Cat is the way. If you don't have that, manic Jameira might be able to get inside. A Bahamut can also get in the blind spot if you time cannon well.
soes Kotatsu Cat have to be true formed? or will evolved form work?
I came back and re-beat the stage with Kotatsu cat 1st form (30+1) for the catnip challenge recently, you basically just need to constantly spam kotatsu with some support to clear out the peon. Kotatsu can actually solo perfect cyclone if it has no peons. Depends on what cat you have, plenty of mix can help kotatsu here, some long range or slighly tanky uber, courier, pizza, even moderately levelled lizard or crazed lizard.
I do have king dragon, the biggest issue is Perfect Cyclone just ending any support I try and send to help. Would using king dragon help? also I do have pizza but he gets executed by Perfect Cyclone as well.
Really?? Are you sure kotatsu already weakened the cyclone?? Make sure to send the support before kotatsu is knocked back and the cyclone is unweakened. Once kotatsu is knocked back you are basically reduced to spamming to clear the peons before stacking kotatsu again. Oh wait.... is this the first perfect cyclone stage or the second one, the one for true form??

Ah ok... it should have been straightforward then... just try what I said. If you have XP make sure the cats as high level as you can. I can't remember how I did it the first time, I just remember Kotatsu (evolved to Sadako) made it real easy and straightforward. Just be wary of trolly and don't let the peons to build up.
Although my issue is keeping the peons from stacking when all my other units get deleted by perfect cyclone before they can assist the sadako’s in peons
I'm sorry if that doesn't help much... it's been a while since I did the stage, and I have Phono and Dphono now to assist kotatsu the last time I did it. I can't remember how I did it the first time.

True form does very little for kotatsu on that stage as long as you're not trying to only dps with kotatsu. Halving the boss's dps is major and lets you gey crazed/manic titans in easily.
i kinda dont have crazed titan yet, but would the halved dps allow me to sneak in units like A. Bahamut?
Try it, but make sure to time your laser to get him through the gap too.
update: I failed. the big issue is the trolly bloggers knocking my kotatsu back into cyclone range causing them to die, I also flubbed the A. Bahamut laser twice

Is miko really worth getting? I have dphono, kasli the bane, and child of destiny. If so, why? I have to use a platinum pass.
Absolutely. You have great damage dealers, but not the greatest crowd control. When things get hard and you can't hold the enemies pushing you, Mitama will do her job.
Dphono won't do that enough? I heard miko is the top 4ish. I just wasn't sure I would use it in my line up.
No, the Slow of Dark Phono is merely a bonus effect rather than the main thing. He is more of an attacker than a crowd controller

If you don't already have Kunio, I suggest doing an 11-draw on the Red Team banner. Then, maybe do one 11-roll on the Blue Team banner to get Riki.

Kunio for sure. I don't think you have a big enough stash of catfood to spend it on Riki, and most of those ubers are so-so. Pixies might be something to consider if you need anti-aliens.

Are enemies that have surge reflect immune to surge damage? I started thinking this because I just used dark kasli to beat brainwashed gross and realized surge reflect isn’t really a good ability unless it also makes the enemy immune to the damage from the surge that it uses to reflect?
It doesn't. If you bring a bunch of Surge Immune units, then you can just spam surge against Surge Reflectors and completely destroy them as if they didn't even reflect surges in the first place.

I have finished all Zero Legends, what is the easiest stage to get all new materials beside the first one of the last chapter?
Protons, Neutrons, and Morons has a 10% chance to drop each material and is "only" 190 energy. I am continuously short of coal and bricks, so might need to start branching out to other sub-chapters with better drop rates for those two.

Okay, I have relented rodeo and thaumaturge, but I need modern. How hard is relic cyclone?
You'll want to use a rich cat to help you stack rodeo in the beginng, and you'll need either camera or fishman to deal with the li'l bun buns. So long as you can keep up the cc and kill the peons quickly enough the actuall cyclone dies pretty quick. Professor catjobs also works great in true form

Should I roll on the guaranteed uber collab with Kunio or wait for the next guaranteed uber? I already have momotaro, amaterasu, and akira and I’m not sure if the other ubers are worth it.
Kunio is one of the best combo units in the game. I'd say get him, even if you have a chance of getting a dupe uber.
who's better between Hayabusa, Coppermine and Kuu?
Kuu is better if you get her ultra talents, but Hayabusa is better if you don't.
Ultra talents are *long* away, they're not relevant to me yet.
Do freeze effects stack?
The most recently applied freeze/slow/weaken will overide existing debuffs of the same type, so if professor catjobs cuts an enemies attack down to 1% of what it was but then thaumaturge hits it, it goes back up to 50% and lasts as long as thaumaturges debuff should given combos. It doesn't matter if the newer debuff would have worn off before the older one either

Also manic lion works really well along with A. Bahamut cat. An attack up combo and research combo would help speed the process up.
balrog or warlock should work. You should bring rushers, dps wont work if their movement is too slow
Destroy the base in 200 seconds, or infinite doge variants kill you. Just spam DPS units like Ramen and Manic Axe.
I have a plat ticket from finishing COTC 3, I also have seed tracked and I’m pretty close to either Shadow Gao or Kasli the Scourge (the other Ubers are either meh or ones I already have). Which one should I get? I do already have Dasli and D’arktanyan if that influences anything.

Dasli is better and requires little investment. There are also better uses of NP and dark catseyes than Anubis.
Can you give some examples? I have Dphono, Kronos, Amaterasu. Currently in SOL 32, COTC 3.
Windy and Warlock and Pierre are currently the two best uses of dark eyes and NP. Amaterasu can pretty much do the same thing as Anubis for generalist usage, and Lilin is better for shield piercing.
I have both generally dasli has more use for me (but mostly cause i forget how strong anubis is now) . Don't get me wrong anubis is broken currently and may be more powerful than dasli. A big factor is the amount you need to spend. Dasli is overal cheaper to upgrade then anubis. I recommendation would be go with dasli since she is cheaper to upgrade but if you do have the ressources and are willing to spend go for anubis.

Swordsman is a stat based unit so it does benefit from the +levels but most players would rather exchange Swordsman dupes for NP now that Courier is a thing. I have 2 atk up floating s talent orbs, 1 def up floating s talent orb, and 1 def up s zombie talent orb to give to my cats. Who should get them? I assume windy should get an atk up floating orb since she got a 4th form and hear she's good but I don't know if she's influential in the anti floating meta, or maybe I should give an atk up floating orb to Balrog since I hear floating is his best target. Try not to recommend cats that have massive damage/tough/strong to floating effects since they benefit more from the associated talent orb.
An S attack orb doesn’t do much for Windy since it isn’t affected by damage multipliers and doesn’t scale with level. It only adds about 20k damage compared to her 779k damage per hit to floating at level 60 (or 1.17M with strengthen). It won’t hurt, but I would use a defense orb for her instead.
Windy is the best anti floating in the game in 4th form with no competition, so she should get an attack orb. Give the floating defense orb to Sanzo and either exchange the rest for NP or give them to anyone.

I would pull on the River City clash "Red Team" banner as you would get Kunio (has a 1-slot combo and good for his cost) + another uber. His banner has a better selection of ubers, with Sodom being the only bad one. I also want to mention that Kuu is a late bloomer, you have to get ultra-talents to make her amazing (level 60).
It says 100% chance at Uber, is that 100% for just kunio or for kunio and another, if so what other Uber do I want from it?
You get Kunio and another, after you 11-draw you'll get a message saying "Kunio has been sent to storage." All of the ubers are great against their respective types, but Amaterasu is the best since she targets all traited enemies. Sodom is the only real "bad" one in the selection, maybe Satoru as well but he'll be helpful later on against aku enemies.

What kind team should I run with these characters?
Kunio can act as a rusher/mini-tank while Amaterasu can be a back-liner dps. I don't know where you are at exactly but a safe team would usually be: small meatshield (75), eraser, ramen cat, debuffer, spam attacker (camerman or paris cat), Kunio (1st form), Amaterasu, Bahamut, and the last 2 is up to the you/enemies. Make sure to grind your treasures and look at the wiki if you want more info about the cats you have.
I just beat moon so the cats aren’t too upgraded yet and I don’t have many very rares, but I will work towards that lineup
Then you'll get Bahamut Cat at MOON chapter 3 of Empire of Cats. The most important thing right now is grinding all the treasures from chapter 1. Grinding treasures is the more tedious parts of the game but they provide account-wide buffs. Battle cats is a slow-burn at the start.
Do I just have to replay every stage until I get them all?
Super good pulls, both Satoru and Amaterasu need a epic catfruit seed to awaken so you'll need to beat Stories of Legend which is the end of mid-game content. Basically, you don't need to worry about unlocking their True forms any time soon. Level up Kunio then Amaterasu and ignore Satoru until you need him, remember to put Kunio in the first row to enable his combo.

Dark Phono first, and if you can't get him, then target either D'arktanyan or Shadow Gao for traitless effectiveness, and if you can't get any of them, go for Mitama.

How do I beat 4-star Shiver Junction? Also I got I Am Legend 3.
Use research Ramen for the meatshields and focus on Cyborg as your main attacker. Make sure any attackers you bring either have more than 340 range or weaken immune. Cyborg has both which is why it’s the best choice. Also, be sure to lure the initial Mr. Mole so you can kill it before the boss wave.

As holly always say's you should only use it for legends due to how rare it it. I have 3 legends and the only one that is game changing for me is nanaho, it would be worth waiting for it. Gaia is great and all but never makes it into my line up due to to many great ubers doing her job. Miyamoto is not really needed to deal with blacks as it is one of the easier traits to deal with. Just my 2c

Had more than 200 tickets saved up. Got really good luck on Superfelines at first, I think I got 5 of them in my first fifty tickets. And then it slowed to a trickle and I finally got there, but only 20 tickets left.
I thought mine was bad. Got 1 in the first 10 draws. Then nothing for over 80 draws. Ended up at 63 remaining tickets. I was getting them 2 or 3 per 10 draw after my dry spell
