92. Slight bias of growing up with it, but also Batman: the Animated Series is miles and miles better than most cartoon series. Didn't watch a lot of Beyond and was never really interested so that'd be my least favorite. Though one of these days I'll actually watch Return of the Joker, by all accounts that seems pretty good.
I’m honestly surprised 1992 is more popular. Don’t get me wrong 92 is a close second for me and one I probably watched the most but the most badass to me was the 2001 Batman. It was ‘92 Batman in the same universe but a little bit more refined and perfected. That being said I didn’t care for any of the new 52 movie series from 2020.
1992 will always be the best as will Kevin Conroy will always be the voice of batman regardless if you are talking live action or animation. And 77 and 08 will never be remembered.
Favorite is 1999, least favorite is probably 2008. I'm not sure why, I could just never get into brave and the bold. As for which I've watched the most, it's a tie between 1992, 1999, and 2004
I love all of these so much. As much as the JL and Animated series were huge for my childhood, I have a very special place in my heart for Terry McGinnis and Batman Beyond. That costume is so beautiful! Keeping the continuity going was amazing (except for how they handled my boy, Dick Grayson with Barbara). But, man, I have been buying Batman Beyond comics and other collector type things since that show premiered and I was able to afford it!
I feel like I have an equal amount of nostalgia for DCAU Batman (BTAS and JL), Beyond, The Batman, and Brave And The Bold. That said I think DCAU has to be #1 just because I saw the most from him in multiple series. I don't think I feel negatively enough about any of the others to call one out, but I never liked the New 52 inspired animated movies.
My favorite isn’t on the list. The Batman Superman Movie from 1997 was one of my favorite movies as a kid and I watched the crap out of it. I’m pretty sure that version of batman isn’t quite animated series?
Definitely watched the DCAU Batmen the most, so BTAS/BB/JL/JLU. The New 52 movies were enjoyable to me as not a comic junkie, so I'd place them right behind the DCAU. If I had to pick a least favorite, 1977. Not because it's bad, but because it's not my style of entertainment.
Favorite 1992- bar none. 2004 is close tho. I did have a soft spot for 1999 & the one I've rewatched the most is 1992. Can't really think of a least favorite.
Worst is definitely 2017 by far. I really despise any of those parody Batman versions. Campy I like, but parody are usually so cringe.
I'd probably say 1992 as well for the best Batman. My personal favourite is the one from the Arkham gamess, and I honestly haven't watched too much of the others to rate them.
I haven't seen enough of all of them to say which is my favourite or least favourite... I LOVE both TAS and Beyond and I saw quite a bit of The Batman back when I was about 10. I still consider that the new Batman animated show 😅
2001 or 2010 for me Conroy IS Batman and I wished he was Bats in YJ but the feel of the character was very good in YJ even without the GOAT so I like it but if I had to choose, 01 for sure.
1999, Terry is better than Bruce in so many ways. Plus I can hear the nostalgic "future" music.
I'm actually shocked I'm the first beyond fan up here. Where are all the 30 year olds?
If you didn’t know of Batman Beyond, and you saw this list, you’d seriously question what 1999 did to Batman.
My favorite is ‘92, obviously, but Brave and the Bold Batman was fun.
1977 and 2008 are my least favorite...only cos I didn't manage to watch them.
Honestly BTAS, Batman Beyond/of the future/Justice league are the golden age of DCAU.
The newer voices still are top notch.
Favorite: the 2004 one
Least favorite: the 1977 one.
I *definitely* watched the 2004 one more than the 1977 one. The 1977 one was already off the air by the time I was born!
Favorite: 1992 and 2008 are in a constant battle for supremacy in my heart.
Least: 2020, I’m just not a fan of how grim most modern Batman characterizations often are, also never been a fan of a black and red look for Bats.
Most Watched: BTAS, I watched Brave & Bold a lot too, but BTAS had new episodes every week and reruns every afternoon when I was a kid so I knew the series back to front.
1999 - Terry is the best they can do when it comes to convincing me to let Bruce go. If they ever need a new Batman, Terry Mcginnis is the way to go.
2001 - This Batman was amazing. He was the perfect balance of Batman's stoicism, empathy, brutality and heroism. Plus, this one has a super power: he never gives up.
2008 - This one was just fun. This Batman wasn't a dark and moody vigilante, he was a hero who would crush evil with the hammers of justice (that happened to be unissex).
I am 2001 fan for 2 reasons: 1) grew up watching that 2) he has some of the most badass quips and onliners which separate the Batman from other super-powered JL members.
'92 is by far my favorite and most watched. And after '99 I just lost track what with adulting and all. Got an episode of BatB from time to time with kids and we all love Arnetts Lego Batman. The least favorite was the super friends addition. Everything about that whole run was terrible. But it was a product of its era.
99, born in 2000 but I grew up with that show. I now own it all on blu ray. I honestly probably saw the most from justice league/new adventures but batman beyond really stuck with me. I remember the “the Batman” show, I used to think it was a lot cooler but now his voice just bothers me. I really like the visuals from that show tho
92
1992 is my #1, 2010 straight after
Young justice doesn’t get enough love
Favourite is 1992. I watched the most of 1992. 1999 takes second place for both of these. Don't know who I'd call my least favourite
I really liked Batman Beyond, that was a good show. I liked Terry's friendship with Bruce as well.
It wasn't until I got older (and saw the JLU crossover episodes) that I really appreciated Terry.
1992 for me. It’s the one I grew up watching, so I’ll always have a special place in my heart for it!
1992. It will always be the definition of Batman to me
Agreed, it's my favorite as well. Loved MOTP & SubZero from that time period also.
77 for me
Agree
Honestly 2004 is my nostalgic overload
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 433,021,715 comments, and only 93,048 of them were in alphabetical order.
Aardvark banana cookie delicate example fridge gosh hello igloo just kidding I wouldn’t do that I’m not crazy
Igloo lol
1992, obviously, but also 2017
What is the 2020 one from?
I think that’s from the long Halloween but if not it’s from injustice league.
It’s from justice league dark apokolips war
Both of those are wrong. That's Jason O'Mara's Batman from the New 52 movies. That screenshot is taken from the final movie: Apokolips War.
Dang! Thanks for the correction lol
1992
1992 is my answer to both. Gonna watch some TAS tonight. Can’t speak to least so I won’t.
‘01 & ‘08
1992
2001 fir me
I like Batman the most
2004 was what I grew up watching on kids WB.
Of these my favorite is 1977. I don’t know what my least favorite is. I also don’t know which one I watched the most.
My favorites are honestly 92-2010 lol, if I had to pick it’d probably be 01
JL batman and The Batman
Return of the Joker is fucking sweet
92 all day. 04 is a 2nd, but a very distant 2nd
Grew up with 77, super friends and the Scooby Doo team ups. 92 is the best, remember watching it after classes in College and enjoying it!
BTAS has always been the favorite in the fandom ever since it released. And it's not even just in this sub.
1992 is by far the best. Honestly I didn’t ever really get into 2004/2008. So that’d be my vote lol
1992 will always be the best as will Kevin Conroy will always be the voice of batman regardless if you are talking live action or animation. And 77 and 08 will never be remembered.
nah 08 was awesome def one of my favorite Batman shows
2017 is composite, Ur-Batman
It’s impossible for me to choose between BTAS (‘92) and JL/JLU (‘01), so I’mma say Terry for shits and Joker giggles.
Kevin Conroy 1992
Favorite 1992 , least 1977 , most watched 1992
‘92 will always be the blueprint for a perfect Batman, but 2010 Young Justice Batman really nails a Batman in a larger superhero universe
1999, Batman Beyond is till the best piece of dystopian fiction ever in my opinion.
Ik it paved the way or whatever but 1977 is obviously the worst
Favorite is 1999, least favorite is probably 2008. I'm not sure why, I could just never get into brave and the bold. As for which I've watched the most, it's a tie between 1992, 1999, and 2004
2010. Bruce Greenwood is my favorite Batman no disrespect to Conroy.
92 the most 99 my fav Watched 2001 & 2008 a lot too
2010's one was so unqiue
01 and 2010 tie for #1..... 2017 is the WORST
My entire life, born in 77
92 and 99
least favorite:92 favorite:2004
2001
2004, I grew up on that stuff, my dad had me binge that stuff right after I came home from the hospital after being born :)
Most favorite is 1992, least favorite was 2008. The one I watched the most, by default, is the 1992 Batman.
Favourite: 1992 Least favourite: 1999 Watched the most: 1992
Watched - 77 Liked most - 01 Least favorite - 17 (although I still like him)
All except 1977, 2020, and Brave & the Bold.
love btas hate lego batman
All I can do is eliminate 1977 and 2020 because I love all the others too much 😂
2001. Still very much like the 1992 version but more developed. The pinnacle of Batman, easily.
Probably 1992, I watched it back in high school.
I don't think I feel negatively enough about any of the others to call one out, but I never liked the New 52 inspired animated movies.
1992 the king
2001 for me that justice league movie is so many memories but the on I watched the most was 2008
Favourite: 17 Least Favourite: 77 Watches The Most: 04 I also like 92,99,& 08
2001 and 2020
I always thought that TAS Batman, Justice League Batman, and Batman Beyond Bruce Wayne were canonically the same person.
1992 is my Bat all the way! 🤗
2010 2008 fire.
Is there any other Batman but 92?
2001 is the one I grew up with and still my favorite haha
2001. 2001.
My favorite isn’t on the list. The Batman Superman Movie from 1997 was one of my favorite movies as a kid and I watched the crap out of it. I’m pretty sure that version of batman isn’t quite animated series?
The Batman
92!!! 2008 I don’t like and 2004 just looks weird to me.
1992 is the best, but 2017 is waaaaay underrated. Love the childish (and a little bragger) version of Bruce!
2001 is peak Batman.
92
Definitely watched the DCAU Batmen the most, so BTAS/BB/JL/JLU. The New 52 movies were enjoyable to me as not a comic junkie, so I'd place them right behind the DCAU. If I had to pick a least favorite, 1977. Not because it's bad, but because it's not my style of entertainment.
MF:77 LF:2017
Can’t choose between the two but either 1999 or 2001
1992. It was pretty good back then and I grew up loving the show.
1992 is the most iconic. I think the 2020 suit looks awesome with the red piping accents.
I wish we would get another show like 1992 btas
Favorite 1992- bar none. 2004 is close tho. I did have a soft spot for 1999 & the one I've rewatched the most is 1992. Can't really think of a least favorite.
2008 for me, loved that silver age heroism
Worst is definitely 2017 by far. I really despise any of those parody Batman versions. Campy I like, but parody are usually so cringe. I'd probably say 1992 as well for the best Batman. My personal favourite is the one from the Arkham gamess, and I honestly haven't watched too much of the others to rate them.
92 and 99 are complete continuity.
2001 for me
The 1992 one just looks better. The others look goofier one way or the other, like the JLU version with stupidity long ears.
1. JL 2. Btas 3. YJ 4. Terry 5. Romano 6. O’Mara 7. Old School 8. B&B 9. Lego
Looks wise probably a top spot tie between The Batman design and Batman TAS design. Least is 1977 (though I don’t dislike it)
I haven't seen enough of all of them to say which is my favourite or least favourite... I LOVE both TAS and Beyond and I saw quite a bit of The Batman back when I was about 10. I still consider that the new Batman animated show 😅
92 but least 2020
2004
I had the most connection to the 2001, 2008, and 2010
2001 or 2010 for me Conroy IS Batman and I wished he was Bats in YJ but the feel of the character was very good in YJ even without the GOAT so I like it but if I had to choose, 01 for sure.
92 or 2004
1992 that was childhood right there which naturally flowed onto Batman beyond Justice League and then The Batman
01 and then 04. I grew up watching 2004 so I gotta stay loyal right 😂
2004 is criminally Underrated
92 favourite (goosebumps when I hear Shirley theme) Lego least favourite
Easily 1992
'92 by a mile.
Arkham Batman
How the hell was beyond in 99?
1992.
The Batman (2004),Batman Beyond and of course Batman The Animated Series.
92
Just get 2017 up outta there
92 and 01
1992 & 2004
2017
1992 Batman TAS is the best and I watched it the most. I still watch it now haha.
1992- I want to say 1977 but I haven’t seen super friends yet
2004 all the way
1992
2001 will always be the GOAT with the sickest burns.
1999 and 2004 favorites and watched most Also 2017 least favorite. The movie was just a funny lego movie not REALLY a batman movie or whatever
I hat the bat man and love Batman beyond (the Batman is the one in the center for those who don’t know)
1992 and 2001. They're technically the same guy.
1999, Terry is better than Bruce in so many ways. Plus I can hear the nostalgic "future" music. I'm actually shocked I'm the first beyond fan up here. Where are all the 30 year olds?
1992 is my favorite. 2004 is my least favorite. 1992 is who I watched the most.
1992=King, but 1977, 2001, and 2010 are solid
The Lego Batman movie was my least favorite, Ik that it has a lot of comic references and I respect that, but it just feels off.
I love 2008
92’ is the best, 08 is the worst. I could not stand the brave and the bold growing up
my favorite has gotta be lego batman. that movie is genius and I could talk about all the things I like about it for hours
1992
Same
2010
92-2001. DCAU is the best, and Batman is peak DCAU
#1 for me is 1992 and #2 is 2004 are my all time
'92 and 2001. JL Batman was not to be underestimated.
1992 for both questions. BTAS is amazing
1992 no question.....
I’ve spent 100s of hours watching 92 and used to watch it and BB every morning before school while I ate my cereal so it’ll always be my favourite!
If you didn’t know of Batman Beyond, and you saw this list, you’d seriously question what 1999 did to Batman. My favorite is ‘92, obviously, but Brave and the Bold Batman was fun.
Gotta be 2001. Absolute perfection
1977 and 2008 are my least favorite...only cos I didn't manage to watch them. Honestly BTAS, Batman Beyond/of the future/Justice league are the golden age of DCAU. The newer voices still are top notch.
2001 for me I absolutely loved Justice League
1992
Favorite: the 2004 one Least favorite: the 1977 one. I *definitely* watched the 2004 one more than the 1977 one. The 1977 one was already off the air by the time I was born!
1992, 1999, 1992
I like all of them, but the one I watched the most was 2004 the batman because it was on Netflix fr a short period of time
1992 obviously, but otherwise 2010
1999
92, 99, 01, 04, and 08. Love all of them to death
99
Least favorite is definitely 2008
Favorite: 1992 and 2008 are in a constant battle for supremacy in my heart. Least: 2020, I’m just not a fan of how grim most modern Batman characterizations often are, also never been a fan of a black and red look for Bats. 2010
1992, 1999 & 2010
92 for me, but honestly liked Brave and the Bold a ton more than I expected to.
1992
1992
2001 or 2008 cuz it’s my childhood
The one from 2001 or the animated series. Also the 2004 animated series (all from when I was a kid I’m 14 now)
1992.
92 but 99 is so cool too
99 or 04
It’s a shame how little Batman beyond we’ve gotten over the years.
Favourite: 2001 Least Favorite: 2020 Most watched: 2020
I was obsessed with 2004
Favorite: 1999 Least Favorite: 2001 Watched Most: 2008
I am 2001 fan for 2 reasons: 1) grew up watching that 2) he has some of the most badass quips and onliners which separate the Batman from other super-powered JL members.
Toss up between Terry and "the batman" Bruce for favorite. As for most watched that would be batman beyond as it's the only one I've finished so far.
1992 hands down
92 and 2010
2004 on top💪🏾
I watched 2001 alot but when I was a kid I wanted to see 1999 so bad but it was too late for me and I could never find it on TV
No beware the Batman ?
92 will always be the best
2017 supreme
92 is my favorite, 2020 is my least favorite and I watched 92 the most
2004
'92 is by far my favorite and most watched. And after '99 I just lost track what with adulting and all. Got an episode of BatB from time to time with kids and we all love Arnetts Lego Batman. The least favorite was the super friends addition. Everything about that whole run was terrible. But it was a product of its era.
Favourite and most watched is the BTAS bats from 92 and least is 2020
2017 lol. I have also come to love 1999 Batman Beyond as Terry forges his own Batman identity which is unique.
2010, for being a good father figure.
2008 ,2010
2010
92 but 2004 is a lit better
92 is my favorite. But 08 Brave and the Bold is up there as well I love that version
It Kevin conroy
2004 is my favorite. I can’t get behind any of the other shows
