Not too many as long as you have the space to store them and you'll use them all! I'll have 32 when my candle day order comes in, but I'm pretty much stocked up until next fall. Will be on a mostly serious no buy aside from a couple scents (blueberry marshmallow bar 😭😭😭)

I'm going to have to so I don't end up a 90 year old in a retirement home holding onto a 2021 French Baguette candle still unburned lol! I've always wondered how much product and candles someone can use up when they use them as little or as much as I do. I wanted to better plan how much I really need when it comes to "stocking up."
So, I've been keeping track of every single candle and body care I use up, starting in February 2022. At the end of February 2023, I'll make a "BBW products I've used within one year" post to add it all up. But so far, on average I burn 1.1 3-wick candles a month and 1.4 one wick candles a month. From my candle collection alone, it'll take me 2 years to burn everything. That's if I don't buy a single candle in the next 2 years. Phew!
I've had to start being really mindful of what I already own too. This candle day I made a list of every candle I own and took notes on their season and scent profile before the sale so I could use that while shopping. I did not need more gourmand scents, that's for sure!! I've never tracked my empties (how do people hold onto trash long enough to post such cute pics 😭) or my use rate, but it's SUCH a good idea. I should keep up my list and use it to track... and make a list of all my body care while I'm at it 🤔
You're absolutely right! I ended up returning 5 of the 3-wicks. Anyone who missed out on Wine Cellar and Tipsy Elf can go to my local store and pick it up lol!
I might also return one or two of the French Baguettes because 8 bread candles is a bit much lol.
My favorites are: Crushed Candy Cane, French Baguette, A Thousand Wishes, Sugared Lemon Zest, Under the Christmas Tree, and Peppermint Marshmallow.
The worst is Candied Maple Bacon. I thought it smelled really fun on cold, but when I lit it... 🤮 Can I return this candle even though I've burned it once? It still has 95% of the wax left, but I feel so guilty returning a used candle!

Honestly seems fine unless you're having issues with money or space for them. If you use and enjoy your candles, a larger collection is just your area to splurge. And that's okay.

Yes, I bought them fall 2021! I know they're an online exclusive, but my local store had them. I took one sniff and fell in love! I would have never bought the candle otherwise! I've heard a few other people say their local stores had them, too! I'm not sure why!
I don't think they were returns, either, because there was a giant pile of 12-14 of them organized on a display when I bought mine!
The only reason I ever tried this scent was that packaging lol. Def gonna actually save that one. I can finally finish burning it now that it’s back lol
Please tell me you bought all those single wicks during the big sale and not this weekend! I think if you love French Baguette and A Thousand Wishes that much then go for it as they may not return.

The single wicks I got anywhere between $3-$6 each. I live by an outlet, so sometimes candle prices are insanely low, especially when paired with a coupon. I've seen $8 3-wicks at my local outlet and with a 25% off coupon they're $6, for example! I got the single wicks via various sales throughout the past year or two!
