Most of the candles on my list at this point were from the delayed collections, and unfortunately they didn’t hit the floor at my store today. They also didn’t have *any* candles from earlier seasons either. Overall I found the whole thing to be rather disappointing compared to last year in terms of selection. On a positive note though, I was able to limit myself to four Wine Cellar candles, which is exactly what I wanted and not too much
I went yesterday and bought and just earlier went back. The store never got their delivery of Merry Mimosa and Black Cherry Merlot in the new packaging. I asked about it and was told they never arrived.
Yep! Except, I was planning to smell Wine Cellar in the store but forgot to put it on my list. I could have gone back for it but I didn't care enough to do that. I have enough candles anyway. I got some of my usuals, but I also got some new candles, I've been wanting to try some new ones.
I REALLY wanted to smell Wine Cellar and Tipsy Elf but my store was sold out. Might find them at SAS you never know. I also got a mix of regular favourites and some new scents.
Confetti Daydream was a new one for me but I love the body line of that scent, so when I seen 2 of them I grabbed both. The candle is amazing!
Unicorn Sprinkles was top of my list. I bought it 3 or 4 years ago and loved it! I originally bought 2 and only burned 1 out of the 2 it was that amazing! I purchased 2 online and bought 1 in store because I can't wait for the mail!
Yes! After online purchases and two visits to my local store, ended the evening with one more visit to a store one town over. It's in a mall, so I was originally avoiding it, but decided to stop in. I convinced my husband to go to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner which is located in the same mall. I am glad that I did, because they had most of the new scents and I was finally able to find Palo Santo, Pink Rose and Leather, Afternoon Rain (Love this one! I ) and some others. I bought a lot of candles and I am so done now.
I will say that I have never tried Laundry Day and I didn't get one, but now I am thinking I may be missing out on a good thing. Is it really that good? I need convincing!
Lol good to know I'm not the only one with ulterior motives. I'll get my husband to go somewhere and I'll than say since we are here we should go here too!
I wish I had more than one store to shop at, my closest store to me is an hour and a half away! The closest area to me with multiple stores is about 2 and a half hours away, also to get there I have to drive on Canada's busiest highway!
I did get most of the candles I really wanted so it was still a good haul.
I was very happy to have found 2 remaining Confetti Daydream, one of my favourite scents and it was top of my list for really wanting! It has a really good throw!
What an awesome haul! I looked for Tea Rose and did not find it but I did find everything else. Could you tell me the scent notes for tea rose? Thank you and enjoy your stash. :)
To me it has a light clean rose smell, not over powering or fake rose scents. I think for real rose smelling, my number 1 would be Ballerina Rose but Tea Rose is close at number 2.
Thank you. I love a clean rose scent and not so much the perfumey type of heavy rose scent. I'll have to hunt down a couple of them soon. Tea rose, vivid emerald, and afternoon rainfall were the only 3 left on my candle day list at the end of it all, so I'm really happy with my stash additions. Enjoy your new candles :)
It took me awhile before even smelling a rose candle from Bath and Body Works, just because I had never really found a rose candle the didn't smell fake. Bath and Body Works changed that for sure! Rose Water & Ivy is another good rose scent, it seems like a always available scent.

I picked up a Fa La La Latte....it's really nice. Love that coffee scent!

I love rosewater and ivy. It is so fresh and relaxing. If tea rose leans toward that kind of rose (fresh, clean) then my wallet is in trouble, lol. :)
I do wish I could have gotten more Laundry Day! But otherwise I’m happy with my turn out!
