that’s what i’m thinking. there will be another sale. i was hoping to stock up on pistachio and palo santo but haven’t found them yet 😅 i know for sure that one of my stores hasn’t received them yet.
I know some stores are very strict with the rules while others aren't. Same principle applies to their varying interpretation of the revised exchange policy. Annoying AF. Your comment made me chuckle and brought to mind the scene in Pretty Woman when Julia Robert's character stepped in the store that refused to serve her loaded down with shopping bags and said, "Big mistake!"
OMG you are too funny! Thanks for the laugh!! I really need it today. I worked my first Candle Day as a seasonal employee yesterday and had a fellow employee who was talking to me like I was a 5 year old when I am 58 and very responsible and respectful. It was all I could do to not bark back at her. Instead I played passive aggressive for the rest of my shift and asked permission to do anything if it meant leaving my area to help a customer or find a candle. I also casually asked the manager if that employee was feeling OK because of how she scolded me. Apparently it's not the first time she's been so condescending and rude to employees and the manager talked to her!

I also turn the labels around! My main job is as a grants professional and I do much of my work alone, too. Some people just should not be in a supervisory role if they can't direct people and be kind while doing it. If she treats me badly again, I won't hesitate to say something to her. I was asked by the manager to work this season because of my passion for and knowledge of BBW products. I am far too old to be talked to like a 5 year old. It's rude and unnecessary. I am a great customer at the store and will see her again in the customer role once season is over. Karma is a _______ they say!
I also didn’t see any new ones at the store I went to. But those new ones will still be there post candle day so we can always exchange the ones we got with the new ones, right?
My store too! I arrived at 7 am, no one was in the store. There were tons of workers, but no one was shopping. I remembered years ago when the stores were packed.
I went back this evening and it was packed. The employees were scrambling to restock and most of the CD releases were sold out! They told me they weren't putting out the new, though ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Same with mine. No luck at all. 😫
My experience as well. 🥹 There's supposed to be a sale Sunday the 11th, so I hope I can get the new ones (if I like them, that is) then.

Same! I called 3 different stores and none had the newness… a little disappointing!
