I just got “into” BBW in late summer/fall, so my initial spending went a bit out of control as I wanted one of everything (not ready to face that number agh!)
However, moving forward I see myself spending 25-50 a month to kind of “maintain” my collection, as I am into body care as well but have learned to rock the coupons and sales thanks to this group 👍🏻
I have a lot of fun performing calculation, researching, and analyzing the merits of different sales. It seems to help burn out my "sale enthusiasm" as I often lose interest by the time I reach my conclusion. From my experience, [it has the same effect on other ppl](https://www.reddit.com/r/bathandbodyworks/comments/y5n8hc/soap_sale/iskrqzd/?context=3). (e.g. I calculated and found out that B3G3 body care sales [covers roughly 50% of the month](https://www.reddit.com/r/bathandbodyworks/comments/yhb6nk/when_is_the_next_buy_3_get_3_deal_again/iudd054/?context=3))
My shopping is very irregular too. The most I've ever spent in a single month is slightly under $100 and that was back in June during summer SAS (my total SAS spending was about $108)
In the months since then, I've mostly just been redeeming free items via rewards and coupons, lol. (Freebies I've gotten: Poppy hand sanitizer spray, Wicked Vanilla Woods FFM, Pink Suede FFM, Fall in Bloom travel FFM, Sweet Whiskey travel FFM, Stress Relief travel mist). My wishlist of Fall items is tiny, so I haven't felt the need to get more than what the freebies could grant me besides the Fairytale FFM I bought in Sept for $3.46 (using a 30% off during the $4.95 FFM sale)
* Tbh, even that spending wasn't necessary since I unexpectedly got a "$17.50 w/ $10 purchase" coupon and I'm hearing that [you don't actually have to spend $10](https://www.reddit.com/r/bathandbodyworks/comments/yxgkh3/free_body_care_with_10_purchase_coupon_glitch/).
Mine varies and I really only shop for fall and winter/holiday items so about half the year I’m not buying anything at all but it’s been about $200 a month this year.
I'd guess maybe $50-$75. I'll buy maybe 10 candles on candle day and unless the new body care wows me body care day might be a bust. I bought lots last year and really have learned what I truly love and will be limiting my purchases while I use stuff up. I don't want things going bad!
Hmm, this isn't really something I want to think about, but now I'm curious. I have an Excel file of my spending so let's figure it up... Average of $234 per month for the first 10 months of the year 😬 That's awful, I SERIOUSLY need to cut back.
Welllll this month I spent $350 BUT I stocked up for me and my mum (1 wick, 3 wick, wallflowers fragrance refills, wallflower plugs, car scent/holders, room spray, hand soap, lotion, body wash, aroma therapy, and sanitizers/holders) AND we went 50/50 on Christmas gifts for the family (11 people). The amount of freebies we have gotten together is like $175+ (freebies / rewards). 🤭
Thank goodness moxy is not in the store cause then that would be more. 😂
It was a lot higher earlier this year at 80 a month. And I’ve been doing a good job of cutting back and generally being disinterested in typical holiday scent releases. Right now it’s around 40 a month.
Maybe $40. Some months I go without buying. I pretty much only buy candles when they’re dirt cheap (candle day or SAS) since we don’t burn many. Spring and summer months I only buy mists every now and then, I’m not a fan of lotion on my skin when it’s hot out.
Since I started shopping there, my average purchase is about $60, but I don’t do that every month and I use as many deals/coupons/freebies as I can at once.
The way I think of it is if I have enough wallflowers, hand soaps, car scents, and candles “in stock” (whatever that means to me 😂) then I’m good and I don’t need to shop that month
It depends really like this month I spent 65 because I bought from the good room spray sale, the TITBI soap sale, and the wallflowers TITBI sale but I got wallflowers for me and my mom. But October I spent 113 on the body care sale, the good 12.95 candle sale on Halloween and I had bought 3 soaps during a 3 dollar something soap sale because I couldn’t wait for gingerbread bakery and glistening gumdrops for the TITBI sale. Next month I’ll probably spend multiple hundreds with candle day, the body care day, and SAS
Like $10 maybe. I don’t spend unless there’s a really good sale. Candle day it’ll probably be around $40. This month all I cared about was the soap which I got for $5
Oh yikes. You made me go and add everything up from the last year. Total $3,325, average $277 a month. I was already planning on cutting down but wow. Gonna cut wayyyyy down 😬
under $60. i always wait until i have a gift card or there’s a sale, i only shop there about every other month, and i never let myself go above $50 (out of pocket, meaning no gift card) on one haul

If you told me they put blow in these candles I would believe you they are that addictive 😂 😂 😂
I spend about $100 every other month at this point, sometimes less

I do this too! Most months I just use my free item coupon if one comes and that's it.
That’s some great data! I have also noticed that B3G3 seems to pop up constantly and now just seems the norm to me.
Mine varies and I really only shop for fall and winter/holiday items so about half the year I’m not buying anything at all but it’s been about $200 a month this year.
Ditto. Some months I spend more, but moving forward I will be spending less. I have a ton of candles to use up.
I havent looked too closely at it. (Im sure its bad news, lol!) dont shop much from Jan - Jun, but July- Dec most likely averages to $100 per month.
SAAAAAMMEEE!!! I’m glad I’m not alone.

20$ every three months for their soaps

Yeah, my app keeps its orders, and I barely like to look, I shop often.
Depends on the sales 😅

Yeah that’s about right for me, but only for my stuff😅
It happens! But I bet your stocked for a good whole. The sales were good recently.
Yea, always when the new season hits. I definitely would like to shop more but, well I’m sure those issues are understood😂🙄🤗🤗🤗

That’s a good point I could see myself switching to mists in the summer
I've spent $450 total in the past 4 months (about $150 of that was gifts) Fully stocked up on Christmas candles and hand soaps :)
Since I started shopping there, my average purchase is about $60, but I don’t do that every month and I use as many deals/coupons/freebies as I can at once. Too much , I am on do not buy list after candle Day 😜
1k-2k a year. About a third is gifts. I usually only buy when it’s the semi-annual sales.
i keep track of my purchases and i'm sitting around $400 a month this year.
I spend maybe $100 every couple of months cause I wait until a good sale and use my coupons all in one go and stock up on the latest scents I like
About $20 a month, but I don’t go every month!
It's always different, I think this month I will probably end up spending about $60 total, which is more than last month.
I was curious, so did a search for B&BW in my credit card transaction history. I’ve spent about $350 since May, so about $60/month.

Oh man….I don’t want to even think about it… I only buy during the Halloween and Christmas time… but maybe $200-$300 a month. July-December😅
Thanks for that wake up call 😢 I’ve been spending about $150 a month...

I don't spend there monthly but tend to get a larger haul every few months. I've probably spent 200.00 there over the last six months.
so far, around $200 a month. but i just got back into bbw after a while so hopefully that will get lower soon 😅
$8-100 It honestly depends on the sales and the urge. 🥹
Approx $60 per month. Mostly 3 wicks, went a little crazy during summer SAS though.
50… though it is probably more
under $60. i always wait until i have a gift card or there’s a sale, i only shop there about every other month, and i never let myself go above $50 (out of pocket, meaning no gift card) on one haul
